Artunc Hotel Bodrum Reviews

This was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. The rooms are spacious and clean. No lift but we weren't concerned by that. The pool was immaculate with great seating, and the hosts let us swim alittle earlier and later than the normal times which was lovely of them. The location is awesome with a convince store afew steps away, and all the markets and restaurants less than 5mins walk on a flat surface. I would highly recommend staying here!

The environment is very good, the facilities are very modern, and it is close to everything. Most importantly, the hotel owner is very considerate. I flew from Morocco but arrived one day later than the booking date due to a flight delay. At that time, Ctrip had closed the service to help communicate with the hotel. On the day of the flight delay, I communicated with the hotel owner by phone and email (you can find the contact information online). He learned about the situation and gave me a free one-day extension to check in after I arrived in Andrum. I have to give a thumbs up to the hotel for this reason.

Such a beautiful and clean place to stay on Bodrum! Gonca and Erkan are the kindest people and they are pure professionals. Positives: 1. Very clean 2. Well planned room 3. Very practically equipped 4. Very close to all local destinations 5. Great connectivity by bus to travel around 6. 5 mins walk from the beach 7. 5 mins walk from shops and restaurants 8. The pool is clean and beautifully decorated Negatives: Honestly there isn't any! Over all a lovely place to stay and I would definitely book with them again for my future trip! A little kind gesture by Gonca when I ended up being sun burnt, she offered her after sun moisturiser and asked me to take it to room and help myself and return it later. This is beyond host hospitality and I really appreciate how much they care for their guests!

This is a lovely place to stay. It's an mmaculately clean, family run hotel. The rooms are simply furnished and a good size with everything you need including kettle fridge and safe. The pool area bar and garden are absolutely beautiful and great to relax in. The owners are very helpful and pleasant. The location is excellent in a quiet back road but only about 200 yds to the beach and even less to restaurants and shops. The bus station is also nearby. There is a bakery 30 yards away where you can buy a freshly baked breakfast to eat in the hotel garden. The Hotel provides only tea and coffee. I would definitely stay there again.

Family owned and operated, very friendly, very clean and conveniently located in a quiet community within walking distance of the waterfront and shopping. Definitely recommend it. We drove there from the airport and there's free parking on the premises

It was the best choice I could make in my 3-day trip to Bodrum. I came by car on a rainy night without any prior planning or hotel research. It is in a very central location and has parking. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The hotel is very quiet, even though it is in the center, it is far from the noisy environment of Bodrum. It will indisputably be my first choice in a Bodrum trip I will make. This time I came alone, but next time I come with my family without any hesitation

Ideally located, The hotel is minutes walk away from the beach, restaurants and shops. The central Bazaar is also minutes walk away which is also near the main bus depot. The fact the hotel is so centrally located yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town. There is also a mini market at the end of the road too along with a bakery. Room facilities included fridge with complimentary water on arrival. Kettle with teas and coffee. Good sized wardrobe and safe for belongings. Room size was bigger than most we have experienced in other hotels in Bodrum Town. The hospitality received from Arkan the father, Artunc the son and the rest of the family was lovely and genuine, we stayed up one night when getting back from the town and they invited us into their winter room with log burner and we stayed up for several hours chatting. Having visited Bodrum seven times over the years, Artunc Hotel has exceeded all others through their hospitality and friendliness, it is everything a small family run hotel should be and for that reason we will definitely be coming back, we were looking for somewhere relaxing, fun, friendly and homely and this was just that. We hope to bring our daughter next time as she is still too young and as a four year old would be looking for a different type of holiday, we have agreed that maybe when she's 9 or 10 she will come with us. We however hope to visit before then on our own.

I booked the Artunc Hotel in the wonderful Turkish city of Bodrum for just 4 days (from September 17 to 21, 2022). I arrived with my wife in the evening, after the plane, got pretty tired and fell asleep, even forgot to kiss my wife. And the next morning I looked around and was disappointed, the hotel for 100 euros per night turned out to be somehow small, dirty and did not excite any aesthetic feelings at all. And in the morning my wife refused to kiss me because of all this “beauty”. Of course, to be honest, the old part of Bodrum turned out to be not very good, a dirty, smelly port, and on the first, second line near the sea there was a Turkish market, hello from the 90s. What to do? I'm upset myself. My wife generally says that she is leaving here right away, she barely persuaded her to look around, take a dip in the sea, and enjoy Turkish cuisine. At the family council, they decided to spend two days in this hotel and cancel two days; to that joy, they had not yet paid the money for the hotel. Which is what I immediately told the manager at the reception, I’m moving out tomorrow, I tell you from you, I’ll pay you in full for two hundred hard-earned euros for the two days you’ve lived. They tell me in response that the trouble is that an intermediary called Ostrovok.ru will take a huge commission for two unspent days, which will cause the hotel to suffer irreparable financial damage. I immediately called this Ostrovok, they promised not to take any commission from the hotel and cancel the reservation. The next day I come to the reception, I say take the key and money for two days and, so to speak, are ready. They give me money, of course, but you owe us 400 euros. Wait guys, why is it 400, if I only lived for two days, therefore, I owe 200. A respectable hotel owner shows me a reservation on the computer, like I promised to pay 400 euros. Pay up or I'll call the police now. Then I took a break, went to refresh myself, on an empty stomach and war is not war, I swam in the Aegean Sea. I come back, and my number with my things and passports is blocked. Well, I say, call the police, let people judge. Turkish policemen arrived, who turned out to be good guys, handsome men in caps; they did not put me in prison, due to the lack of evidence of a crime. So we didn’t find a common language with the Turkish hotelier, he wanted to get 400 euros, and I wanted to pay 200 for 2 days, which in my opinion is quite a lot for such a kennel. I am attaching a photo of all the dirtiness of the room, as well as a receipt for payment for the hotel, so that the owner of the hotel, Artunk, does not pretend that this is not about him. If you, dear reader, are interested in the question of how it ended, who surrendered in this battle on Turkish soil, I will answer, ours won, the hotelier was compensated for the penalty by the Ostrovok.ru company, for which many thanks to them, respect and respect, especially to the manager Victoria and everyone who dealt with my problem. There were a week in July, the hotel is a 10-minute walk to the beach, which allows you to quickly get to the main streets with cafes and restaurants, but at the same time it is very quiet at night. the noise doesn't come through. The room is clean, the drain works well, the water pressure is also strong. The air conditioner works well too. Also on the territory there is a swimming pool with sun loungers, surrounded by greenery. The staff is friendly, there is also a cat and a kitten on allowance, if you wish, you can stroke) In general, we were satisfied with our stay in this hotel

Hola. Este hotel es una verdadera joya. Pasamos 4 noches maravillosas. Las habitaciones están impecables y con todo lo necesario para descansar. La alberca está muy linda y es ideal para refrescarse cuando hace calor. Estás a dos cuadras del centro de Bodrum. El dueño y las personas que trabajan son muy amables y te hacen sentir en casa. No incluye desayuno pero venden café y bebidas, así que nosotros compramos fruta y pan y desayunamos ahí muy a gusto. Una tarde estabamos sentados en las mesitas y el dueño nos llevo sandía. Se me hizo un detalle super lindo. ¡Ya extrañamos Bodrum!!! El único pero es que cierran la alberca a las 7. Ojalá la abrieran un poco mas
