Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz Reviews

Hotel is a little bit off the beaten track in a quiet residential area – everything is walkable though.  Big cleans rooms. Probably more suited to business travellers than tourists here to eat and shop. 

We had a great stay at the Scandic! The location was convenient for sightseeing (sights in walking distance) and subway station was just around the corner. Room was clean and spacious (parents + 2 teens)

Before booking, they explain that there is a sauna, but this is not true because if you want to enter the sauna, you have to pay additional fees. We also lost a jewelry box containing 3 ear rings 🙁

Sauna and gym are nice. Great location. Nice rooms. Beds are a bit small and didn’t like the pillows. Rest ok!

The room is clean and tidy, and the facilities are very new. The service is excellent. The location is at Potsdamer Platz, close to everything, Brandenburg Gate, Congress Building, Philharmonic Hall, Tiergarten are all within a 15-minute walk

Best hotel choice for attending the Berlin Film Festival! Excellent location and convenient transportation. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff asked if we wanted a shower or a bathtub. And helped to call a taxi, very considerate service, the overall atmosphere is very good, will recommend it to other friends!

There is a subway station just outside the hotel, and transportation is very convenient.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Scandic Hotel Berlin – the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, the reception staff friendly and helpful, and the breakfast selection was truly excellent. One small suggestion for improvement, however, concerns the colleague at the entrance to the breakfast room: His manner was a bit too forward for me early in the morning, and his ironic comments seemed more irritating than charming. A more reserved and calm demeanor would certainly be more in keeping with the otherwise very pleasant atmosphere of the hotel – especially in the morning, when many guests simply want to start their day in peace. Nevertheless: I would definitely come back – thank you for the overall great service!

The hotel is close to Potsdamer Platz subway station (2 minutes walk), which is very convenient to Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island and other attractions. There are many restaurants and shopping malls around. The room is clean and modern with good soundproofing. The breakfast is very rich, providing fresh bread, cold cuts, hot food and freshly brewed coffee, and the service is warm. Highly cost-effective, highly recommended for business and tourist guests!

It is very close to the subway entrance. Turn left when you go out and you will find the subway. It is also very close to Berlin's major attractions, and Potsdamer Platz is within walking distance. It is a good choice for business trips.

We drove there and parked in the underground parking lot. The hotel is a bit complicated. We parked in the east but couldn't get directly to the lobby. We got lost and searched for a long time. It's very convenient to travel. You can walk to the attractions. There is a large shopping mall nearby where you can eat. The subway station is also very close.

It was horrible and unsafe, especially for ladies! We locked the door and slept soundly, but a male employee swiped his card and broke into our room! We woke up immediately, and the two ladies in the room were scared, which was terrifying! The staff's attitude was particularly bad. The toilet smelled bad, and the toilet was old and dirty.
