The hotel is conveniently located in Guomao district, which is ideal for business travelers as well as merrymakers. Services are good, and the room is spacious. However, some of the amenities, such as the shower and the air-conditioning systems, needed to be upgraded.

We arrived very early in the morning (06:00 - flight) and that was clearly not foreseen (Trip.com does not foresee the possibility to inform the hotel by mail, only by phone, but there is a language barrier). So we had to wait 3 hours before we could check in. Quite tiresome. But at check in the people were very friendly, so ok after all. They also helped us to buy a local SIM card.
The room is quite big and nice with a nice and clean bathroom. Breakfast is good with a big choice of local and European food. The people in the restaurant are friendly and helpful. The hotel is not too far from the subway which is very interesting to visit the different places in Beijing.

First time in Beijing, during the Spring Festival, it was too difficult to book, I booked 10 days in advance. It took a long time to choose when booking. The hotel is close to the subway, has windows, twin rooms, large area, very good, equipped with air purifiers, refrigerators, everything, and the service is also very enthusiastic. The decoration is a bit old-fashioned, and the towels and bathrobes are hard, but overall it's not bad. The surrounding shops are closed during the Spring Festival, and it's hard to find a place to eat, but there is a small supermarket that can solve the problem.

Booked for a show, very convenient, the theater is only two or three minutes away from the hotel. Maybe it's too old, the lights are too dim. Everything else is very good. The front desk is also very friendly!

The location of the hotel is convenience. It's close to subway line 2 and 4 less than 100m. There are lots of restaurants, shopping mall, supermarket, convenience store and fastfood chains in walking distance from the hotel.
The hotel staff and front desk were responsive, friendly and helpful. The hotel breakfast was mostly chinese breakfast with few continental ones.
The room was a bit worn out but still clean but the corridor was filled with heavy cigarette smell.
The amenities are sufficient by business hotel standard. Overall it is a nice hotel which I would stay again on the next trip.

This is the best hotel I stayed in during my three-week trip! It is the only hotel I did not find any fault with, and it is the ceiling of domestic hotels. I booked a connecting room with clear clouds and sun. The room is extremely comfortable and warm, with beautiful scenery outside the window, fresh and delicious welcome fruit plate, neatly arranged tea sets in the room, spotless; the temperature in the room is suitable when I check in, the bedding is soft and comfortable, there are enough plugs on the bedside tables on both sides for multiple electrical appliances to charge at the same time, the bathroom is extremely clean, without any mold spots, and the bath towels are of super good quality. The flower arrangement in the lobby is fresh and beautiful. It happened to rain on the day of check-in, and the hotel provided umbrella service very considerately. Xiangshan Hotel was designed by Mr. I.M. Pei in the late 1970s and early 1980s, and it has been more than 40 years since then. The hotel perfectly integrates the essence of Chinese and Western culture, and it is a classic that will never go out of style with every step. It is worth a visit.
