The location is perfect for people to take high speed train. The room is large. Comfortable

Room stinks of cigarette smoke. Bed is tiny in comparison to what the room can accommodate; a bigger bed or extra couch would be more practical. Buffet was very ordinary and overpriced. Not ideal for family with young child due to small bed size. Also, unlike other hotels, cab drivers and food delivery services can't enter the driveway so you have to walk down to collect your food from the front gate near the hotel exit. Also, front desk wasted a good 20 minutes or so just to get us checked in which was exasperating. Unsure how this is still considered 5 star service. Hotel amenities are super old, probably from late 80's or early 90's era but the maintenance is okay apart from the unbearable smoke stench so not idea if you're travelling with children.

Best location for tourist attractions, you only need to take a few metro stops to reach major sights. Do not buy the buffet breakfast because the quality of the food is below 5 star hotel. Front desk receptionist very nice but they are not able to assist in attractions directions. Recommend

This is a functional hotel near the station. Its room is basic but works for the most part to provide a good night's sleep. There are not many extras compared to other hotel chains.

Environment: This is the key point. It is very close to Xizhimen Exit C and walk 200m. It is within the Second Ring Road, and it is very close to everything without considering the traffic jam. It is also very quiet to sleep, and the air conditioner is almost silent. Hygiene: It is an old state-owned enterprise. Except for the carpet, there are no problems. Facilities: It has everything it should have, but the light in the bathroom has a serious flickering problem. After turning on the light for about 5 minutes, it will continue to flicker. It is probably due to unstable voltage, which seriously deducts points. Service: There is no problem with this. You can't find any fault with it. As an old state-owned enterprise, except for some old facilities, the geographical location and service level are first-class. It is highly recommended during non-holidays and meetings.

Very good stay experience. I took my children to Badaling Great Wall on the weekend and chose to stay in Guoerzhao, which is very close to Beijing North Railway Station and convenient for Badaling. The front desk lady Xiang Jiayu upgraded us for free to a suite, which is very comfortable to live in, very clean, and has a good view in the room. Five-star praise!
