CHAO Sanlitun Beijing Reviews

First time staying at Chao and it was a pleasant surprise.  Great location only within minutes  walking distance to Taikooli Sanlitun. The hotel’s decor and general atmosphere makes it feel more upscale than its pricing suggests. The place is well maintained and staff are courteous and helpful. Highly recommended and would definitely come back next time in Beijing.

The hotel is convenient across the street from Taikoo Li Sanlitun and next to Soho Sanlitun. The breakfast is of good quality with many choices. The bed is very comfortable as well.

Had a really wonderful time at CHAO. The rooms were really nice and well laid-out to enjoy the stay. Little touches really added overall to the feel of LUXE in the hotel. The service team was impeccable, always ready to help and friendly as my mandarin really isn't very good. Had room service and the meals were really delicious. They look exactly like the photo and tasted great. Location was great as its near to Taikoo Li Malls with plenty of local eats in the area.

The ambiance here is always inviting and comfortable. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. Their staff is not only friendly but also highly skilled.

Everything. The style, the smell, the hospitality of the staff (early check-in and late check out). Every little detail thought through. Contemporary design was top notch and above ! Conveniently situated in the centre of Beijing and very close by Taikooli.

Location is amazing, room is nice and spacious with a super comfortable bed. Well stock amenities, free snacks & refreshments in the room. Staffs were very helpful & friendly. Had a great time at both the restaurants & the bar. 3 menu cards with wide breakfast selections from East to West. Good selection of drinks/wines/cocktails too. Will definitely stay here again.

“The hotel is stunningly beautiful!” Every space here is artistic and incredibly chill—you can take photos anywhere in the hotel. The Art Centre showcases impressive paintings, while the European-style classic cinema adds a vintage touch. The swimming pool and spa offer a relaxing, resort-like experience. Most notably, the top floor provides a breathtaking panoramic view of Beijing, making it a popular photoshoot spot for many celebrities. The hotel’s location is very convenient, close to famous shopping and entertainment centers. I will definitely come back!

The hotel was clean and convenient, very accessible to nearby touristy spots. The lobby manager, Athena was super helpful with our booking and all our needs, would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights with some friends. The room itself was very spacious, with a great bathtub and a lovely view. The hotel breakfast and bar in the hotel provide a lot of quality options, but the location of the hotel also makes it ideal for anyone wanting to explore Beijing, as it is central but also surrounded by great bars and restaurants. The service in the hotel was also great, from check-in to check-out. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and will likely return.

Always a pleasure to stay at the Chao. Plenty of design items / art pieces at every corner of the hotel, on top of the overall design (solid hardwood floor, impressive ceiling) make it a pleasure to stay. Also love the extra attention to small details : drinks & snacks are not the usual ones you'd find in any other hotel, real books await you in your room.. it's the little things that make it different. I'll be back !

It's nice room and view, the people are friendly and services are good. I've spent a week overthere and they also upgraded the room for us. I will recommend to stay again there

Good location if you want to access Sanlitun. Was clean. Decent spot.

The location of the hotel is good and it is clean. To much disappointed, the service is not up to standard. Will be perfect if they are more helpful.
