One of the nearest hotel in Gubei watertown to the entrance of Simatai Greatwall cablecar ride. The hotel is lovely and staff are extremely friendly and helpful.We love our room with a view facing the greatwall. There's a lovely circular bathtub where one can soak in after the hike.Daily breakfast was sent to the room and served in bed.We totally enjoy our 2 nights stay in Wangjing Tower.

It was perfect. The most perfect location. The most perfect room. Just delightful. However staff can be more welcoming to foreigners and let us explore we have good intentions and manners. Breakfast was Mediocre but who needs breakfast when you don't want to leave your room?

Nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay as its so near to Simitai Great wall cable car entrance. If only the hotel inform us that there is a concession tickets for room guest we would not buy tickets from other platform.

The hotel cancelled our booking due to the maintenance requirement. However trip.com+hotel help us organise the new hotel asap. We're appreciated their support.

Very good hotel and very pleasant stay

Loved this hotel. Great location with a view of the Great Wall from the beautiful pool. The room is really nice with a patio. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and enjoyed both. Our stay included the park entrance fee and hot springs. We really liked walking around Watertown and had lunch at one of the shops. We took a cable car right before sunset to the Great Wall, and after a hike reached the Wall. It wasn't crowded and we spent quite a bit of time there before heading back down. At that point it was getting dark, and the lights on the Wall came on. Very beautiful sight, and we got great pictures. I would love to come back to this hotel and area again when we have more time.

While this is perfectly close to the entrance of the Simatai Great Wall, I reckon the swimming pool timings could be more flexible (currently business hours are from 10 AM through 6 PM). Also, the hot spring (bath house) is just across the road (2 minutes walking) from the hotel, and is very clean and comfortable with an amazing view of the Great Wall of China. 5/5 recommend for everyone with a penchant for solitude.

What a beautiful hotel in the middle of the happenings. Especially in the evening when the property and the street are illimintated. Xiaoyan helped me theough the chexk in process and gave me the necessaey information needed. She esxorted me to the room and explained everything. We also had dinne ans breakfaatr in the restaurant. Food are sooo delicioua and reasonably priced and competitive. DEFINITELY wamt to come back again in the near future.

A beautiful hotel in an excellent location, with friendly staff who were always willing to help. The rooms were clean and breakfast was good. It was a pity that the pool was closed but the good location made up for that! Highly recommended

Room was beautiful and the view from the terrace was amazing especially at night. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. It is inside the scenic spot so very convenient to walk around and see the sights. Definitely recommend this hotel. There was a large pool but was empty on our visit. I suspect in the summer time it would be a great spot to escape the heat overlooking the lake.

This is my second trip and stay in Wangjinglou, Gubei. The rooms are huge with a bathtub spacious for 2 adults. It comes with free hot bath access at neighbouring hotel just 50m away. Do not miss the outdoor one where you will be treated with a view of the Great Wall unblocked. The best time to do the hot bath will be after 10pm and early morning where you will capture both the night and day view

Booked a room on New Year's Eve, informed that the selected room type is not enough for a few days, upgraded to the duplex suite of Wuzhen Boutique Hotel, thinking that Wuzhen Boutique Hotel has a good location, so I agreed, and the bridgehead at the entrance of the hotel can also overlook the Great Wall. Wuzhen Club Hotel is a luxurious Chinese style, with a large duplex suite with many solid wood furniture, lacquerware, a sun room with a roof on the first floor, and a small balcony on the second floor that is shrinking in the hotel yard without much scenery outside. The large suite is located in the back, and it takes several turns to get to the hotel corridor from the lobby. It is a bit far. The cabinets in the bedroom on the second floor have a bit of smell, but there are TVs, toilets and water bars upstairs and downstairs, which is more convenient. The book bar and tea room were not open during the Chinese New Year, and it was a bit deserted. The breakfast was satisfactory, and the pickled pork with preserved vegetables in Wenchang Pavilion Restaurant was so authentic that the whole family praised it. It's a pity that I didn't stay at Wangjinglou Hotel. Next time, book two days less, and don't coordinate to go to other hotels for me @Gubei Water Town Customer Manager

I have been to Gubei Water Town many times, and Wangjinglou is my favorite hotel. During the Chinese New Year, I took my elderly to stay for many days. I especially want to praise the handsome young man Zhang Lei. He served with a smile, was warm and thoughtful, and took special care of my elderly. He did a good job in details. The young male foreman was also very responsible at work and left a good impression on us. I especially want to praise them both.
