Grand Metropark Hotels in Beijing

I was very satisfied. My child was attending a study tour in Beijing, and I arrived the evening before to drop them off. I booked a deluxe king room on the 22nd floor, which was a spacious 50 square meters. By the floor-to-ceiling window, you could comfortably sit and relax, either on your phone or simply admiring the view. Both day and night, the bustling city traffic and twinkling lights of the metropolis were quite a sight. I highly recommend opting for a higher floor. The swimming pool, however, was quite small. The gym facilities appeared to be outsourced and were predominantly used by locals, making them very crowded.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. From The front desk, concierge to housekeeping and the restaurant, we received exceptional service from the staff. The hotel is well kept and very clean. The room is spacious and quiet. Will definitely stay again next time visiting Beijing.

Not a typical tourist hotel. But conveniently located above the subway station. And Next to the Mei Lan Fang Opera house. The hotel is an older facility. Front desk is located on the second floor. It is on par to a standard 3 star hotel. Front desk staff are very friendly. When I requested a late check out, they were able to accommodate me.  Wifi is a bit tricky, as it requires a local phone number to verifyfy. But if you contact the front desk, they will send someone who can help you to verify.  Overall reasonable service, paid laundry and dry cleaning services. Breakfast not included in my booking. But I believe you could book with breakfast.

Affordable prices, a pleasant environment, and numerous hot spring pools are why we return every year. This visit brought a mix of pleasant surprises and some disappointments. The hot spring section, in particular, delivered exceptional service. Attendant Han Xuejuan noticed me sitting and proactively offered a fresh, dry towel and a bottle of water. Another male attendant also came around with a tray, offering complimentary tea. Attendant Wang Fang checked in with guests, asked for feedback on our experience, and even gave a small gift to my child, who was absolutely delighted. However, the dining service within the hot spring area was quite disappointing. We arrived at 4:40 PM and were told ordering would only begin at 5:00 PM, so we had to wait. We ordered two rice bowls (donburi style) and a bowl of noodles. As my child was nearly done with her beef rice, she pointed out a hair in my bowl—a very thin, small one. Given we were almost finished, I didn't see the point in complaining, and honestly, even when cooking at home, such things can happen, so I decided to overlook it. What's more, the bowl of noodles still hadn't arrived after more than 40 minutes. When I inquired, they said a large pot of water hadn't boiled yet. There was no prior warning when we ordered that preparing it would take over 40 minutes due to the need to boil such a large pot of water. My child was already hungry and restless, which was incredibly frustrating. I was seriously considering giving a low rating for the dining experience, but the outstanding service from the hot spring staff deeply impressed me. Ultimately, I decided to let it go; a little mutual understanding goes a long way.

Environment: It is very convenient to get to the hotel after getting off the highway. The road is wide and the entrance to the basement is clearly marked, but the parking space in the basement is a bit narrow. Facilities: The courtyard and the building are all clean and bright. There is also a pool of water in the courtyard, which is good for digestion after a meal. The restaurant has a wide variety of breakfasts, both Chinese and Western staples are good, the noodle stall and the bread counter are always producing, and the watermelon and orange are also very sweet. The facilities in the fitness department also look quite new. There is a small swimming pool, a small gym and a billiard table. It is good to do a little exercise after dinner. There are also quite a lot of people. There are still quite a lot of people at 9 o'clock in the evening, and there is no strict closing time. By the way, the only thing that I feel is not very good is that the bed is a bit hard and the pillow is a bit too soft. It is not very comfortable to sleep during pregnancy. Service: From the basement guide to the front desk, the restaurant service staff and the ladies in the fitness department are very enthusiastic. The ladies in the fitness department will take the initiative to help maintain order when children come to watch playing billiards. It is very considerate. Hygiene: The beds and bathroom in the room are very clean and safe to use.
