"Jetwing Lagoon is one of the classics of the famous Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa, which perfectly blends design with nature. It makes full use of the natural landscape of the lagoon and the ocean. The hotel design incorporates open space, natural light and modern architectural elements to create a tranquil and elegant atmosphere. The hotel is located between the lagoon and the Indian Ocean, offering a dual water experience. You can enjoy the tranquility of the lagoon or walk to the beach to enjoy the magnificent view of the Indian Ocean. The infinity pool is a highlight here. Surrounded by the lagoon and the natural environment, my room faces the pool-this pool is 100 meters long and is said to be one of the longest pools in Sri Lanka. I got up in the morning and swam 800 meters, which is equivalent to four round trips. I chose this place as the first stop, on the one hand because it is close to the international airport, and on the other hand, of course, to experience Bawa's design!"
