An elegant inn nestled in a serene Japanese garden, where all nine rooms are private detached villas — each featuring its own open-air onsen bath with natural hot spring water. Located in the tranquil and historic Shuzenji Onsen town, known for its clear, odorless, and gentle thermal waters that soothe both body and mind. Guests are invited to indulge in exquisite kaiseki cuisine, carefully prepared using seasonal, premium ingredients. In addition to relaxation, the inn offers authentic cultural experiences, including Ikebana (flower arrangement) classes and Shakyo (sutra copying) sessions — perfect opportunities to immerse yourself in the spirit of traditional Japan. Only 10 minutes by taxi from Shuzenji Station on the Izu-Hakone Railway Line.

"I booked the hotel specifically for the evening kaiseki cuisine. I read reviews on Ctrip saying that dinner was included, but when I booked, there was no option to include dinner. But Ctrip replied that it was okay to add it when I arrived. As a result, I thought I should ask one day in advance. Now, when I asked, I was told that I needed to book three days in advance. Ctrip also told me that I had to book three days in advance for the two free transfers mentioned in the reviews. Why don’t you write it in the introduction? When I arrived at the store, I asked if I could add money to have dinner, but it was not possible. I had to book in advance. I said that I had told Ctrip about it, and the store showed me the c-trip page. The list that Ctrip gave me was room only. I was really speechless. There was nothing to eat in this place. It was not good no matter how I arrived. The hotel was not cheap. There was no one at the front desk who could speak English. They just couldn’t speak English at all. I couldn’t understand the most basic words. The hotel service was okay. Later, a guy who could speak a little Chinese came and helped me order takeout. There was food (because it was raining heavily that day and I couldn’t go out). But I came all the way from Tokyo and the experience was really average. The hot spring pool in my room is also very small, about 1.5 square meters? ... Oh. I went to Kikuya the next day. I personally think it is much better. This hotel has no public facilities, just rooms. It is recommended to book good food and shuttle bus three days in advance. If you forget or don't make it, forget it and change hotels. By the way, this hotel is a three-star hotel on Googlemap. Although Kikuya next door is old, it is at least a four-star hotel..."

Each room is 100 square meters and equipped with an open-air bath. This is the perfect seat to view Mount Fuji rising from the sea. Located amidst the grandeur of Mount Fuji and the vast ocean, Mizunosato "Fugaku Gunjo" resembles a modern and luxurious art museum, offering a high-end space where one can feel the warmth of nature and forget the passage of time. The decor is not overly ornate, embracing the simplicity of nature. Time flows leisurely over the water's surface, with only the quiet repetition of the earth's activities. At the end of the corridor extending from the lobby are eight coveted guest rooms. Each room features a deck terrace facing the sea, with suite rooms that offer open-air hot spring baths with panoramic views of the World Heritage Site Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay. This lodge cherishes the moments when you can gaze at the magnificent view from the bath, whether during the sunset that paints the sea in the west or the serene dawn.

"The decoration is in the Western style of the 1980s. For some years, the room we stayed in still has paint smell. I don’t know if it has been repaired recently. I am a little worried about whether the health will be affected. The location is really partial, there is nothing around, the hotel is also small, only eight rooms, no public entertainment facilities, no public hot springs. It rained heavily on the day we arrived and could only stay in the room with no view. Be careful not to drive by yourself. Traffic is too difficult. Compared with such an expensive house price, I really want to faint. Just came from Asahi of Shuzenji the day before, this price is more expensive than Asana, but the experience is like mud. The price/performance ratio is too low. I don't know what the bottom line is. The good place is good service, good ingredients for dinner and breakfast, the next day the weather cleared, saw Mount Fuji, at the same time the hotel helped to contact a reasonable price taxi to the next destination, which is a little soothing to check the mood of the day."

"I used it for the wedding anniversary celebration. I've seen it in a magazine before, and I've been worried about it all the time, and this time I was able to ask my long-cherished wish come true. The room, the food and the staff were able to spend a very good time with two people more than expected. The facility name LOQUAT means ”Biwa”, and there is a ”Shirabiwa” that can only be seen in this area on the premises. When I heard it at dinner, I thought it was a nice story, but after checking out, I asked the staff to suggest that it was the season, and I had a harvest experience. It was a very enjoyable and valuable experience. He also experiences making biwa sake, which seems to be very interesting. In the future, I am very looking forward to increasing the number of 々 experience plans. It is an inn that I want to visit again on an important day."

"Amazing hotel, more than 100 years of building protection is very good, the room is very large and quiet, the courtyard is super beautiful, the swing after crossing the bridge is like a fairyland, the meal is super delicious, even the hotel's free juice and popsicles are unexpectedly delicious, value for money. If you have to make suggestions, there are a little less choices for private soup and public soup. btw: It is recommended not to book through Trip.com, communication is too laborious. You can go directly to their official website or call, there is Chinese customer service."
