This is the ceiling of the hot spring hotel I have stayed in so far!
I haven't been to too many hot springs. I have stayed in Gero Onsen Yunoshima, Kurokawa Onsen Oyado and Yunping Onsen Yamashiro Ryokan. This is the fourth Japanese hot spring hotel. Arai Ryokan is undoubtedly the best, and it is much better.
First of all, it has a sense of history built in 1872.
Secondly, the winding wooden bridge in the garden, the forest of giant trees, and the various styles of architectural design interspersed in the plump koi pond are very clever.
Thirdly, the whole hotel seems to have been renovated not long ago, and all the details are brand new and clean, especially the wooden floor handrail pillars are very clean.
Finally, the giant stone hot spring that is adapted to local conditions is very distinctive, and the wild sky bath is also beautiful.
The Tonger room we stayed in may be the best in the whole venue, with a large fish pond in front and a small forest courtyard in the back, and the scenery is first-class.
The female general is very thoughtful, the kaiseki cuisine is rich, and the quilt is also comfortable.
Everything is very satisfactory! I got a wonderful experience and left an unforgettable memory.
I will go again if I have the chance!

The hotel is close to the entrance of the hot spring street. Take the C10 bus from Shuzenji Station and get off at the 6th stop. Go forward, turn left, cross the bridge, and turn left to see the hotel entrance. Breakfast and dinner are buffets. Change shoes after entering the lobby of the hotel. Walk around barefoot in socks throughout the hotel. After checking in at the door, choose your own yukata and take toiletries. There are many yukata patterns. There are 7 private baths on the 4th floor of the hotel. No reservation is required. Just wait in order in the private bath hall and enter the private bath room. Use it for a maximum of half an hour at a time. There is an open-air public bath on the 9th floor. The lobby is actually the 3rd floor. The 4th to 8th floors are guest rooms, and the restaurant is on the 2nd floor. For some reason, even if you book on Ctrip 2 to 3 months in advance, the room floor is still the lowest. After all, there is a private bath and laundry room on the 4th floor, so it doesn't matter if the floor is a little lower. The washing machine here is free to use, and the dryer is 100 yen for 20 minutes. In general, it's pretty good overall. If I have to point out some shortcomings, I think it may be because of the tatami mats. If you walk upstairs with a little more weight, you can feel a thumping sound. If there are children running, it's even worse. In addition, the opening and closing of windows in the adjacent rooms also makes a loud noise.

The hotel is located in the mountains near Shuzenji Temple. We originally booked this hotel expecting a beautiful view, but the waiter actually gave us a room facing the staff entrance. Not only did we not have a window view, but as soon as we opened the curtains, we could see the staff coming in and out and the garbage trucks, which really affected our mood. The hygiene in the hot spring dressing room was also worrying. The wall near the exhaust fan was obviously dusty and dirty. The hygiene of this hotel was not very good. 😑 There was hair left by someone on the bedside in the room. Sigh😑, I have to give a bad review.

The waiters in the hotel are really polite, considerate, caring about everything, and make you feel at home.
The food quality is good, the Wagyu beef for dinner is delicious, and the portion is very sufficient.
Both breakfast and dinner are served with wasabi, and the Wasabi miso is very delicious.
The privacy of the hotel rooms is very high, the hotel environment is good, and the decoration does not feel old.
The hot spring in the room is very convenient.

Amazing service and onsen facilities. There are both indoor and outdoor, private and public baths to choose from. There are unlimited drinks from the drinks machines and also other complementary food services.
Both the meals, breakfast and dinner, were exquisite. It was great to experience traditional Japanese dining.
The traditional Japanese building was like a labyrinth and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the many halls and gardens. The location is also great and there are many shops and temples around the area.
All in all the perfect place to have a more traditional Japanese experience whilst receiving excellent service.

This is the largest hotel with the best lighting and the most comfortable environment I have ever stayed in. The kawabe cuisine feels great. The room is a pleasant surprise, a combination of Japanese and Western styles, clean and sanitary. There is a private hot spring bathtub on the balcony, listening to the sound of running water. The outdoor private bath is also great. I recommend the beauty under the moon, which is very freehand. I highly recommend it! I will come again if I have the chance! There is a shuttle bus to the station in the morning. The old man is kind and enthusiastic.

Amazing hotel, more than 100 years of building protection is very good, the room is very large and quiet, the courtyard is super beautiful, the swing after crossing the bridge is like a fairyland, the meal is super delicious, even the hotel's free juice and popsicles are unexpectedly delicious, value for money. If you have to make suggestions, there are a little less choices for private soup and public soup. btw: It is recommended not to book through Trip.com, communication is too laborious. You can go directly to their official website or call, there is Chinese customer service.

Kangcheng Kawabata mentioned the hot springs of Xiusan Temple three times in the short story ”The Dancer of Izu”. Before we set off for Japan, we decided to add a berth and two meals to the ghost's habitat in the second half of our newlywed trip, one to experience the traditional Japanese soup culture, and the other to relieve fatigue for the first half of the trip.
From Tokyo, the Shanyang Line to Sandao transfer, three hours to the hot spring town of Zhongyizu. Unlike the downtown, the flowing water, Nana breeze, the breath of nature makes people feel very comfortable when they get off the bus. The hotel has been waiting at the station in advance. The driver master introduced us to the attractions, the room (we booked the mountain section, after talking about it, you can look at the water, see if you want to change) and the dining arrangement. His humor makes the transfer journey very pleasant and short.
In terms of service, the whole process is meticulous, there is a Chinese brother at the front desk, and the check-in is also very smooth. At the same time, I noticed that the driver master had a special explanation with the front desk after learning that we were newlyweds. So thank you for the ”kill to die” that the hotel offers, including flowers, two free drinks and desserts.
In terms of rooms, the whole hotel is very elegant. After comparison, although the soup pool in Qingshui is larger, we prefer the room type and mountain view of Shanke. Combining Zen decoration design and furniture, we enjoy this hot spring trip very much.
In terms of dining, whether it is dinner or breakfast, kaiseki cuisine is very exquisite. While experiencing the fresh food in the season, you can feel the chef's understanding and making, pursuit and ingenuity in terms of taste, ingredients, appearance, etc., only 40 years old is really very young.
In terms of environment, before two o'clock, we went to the town for a walk. The sunflower is a local specialty. This can be taken away from the buckwheat noodles, the sunflower ice cream can be tasted, etc. You can feel it. I especially recommend the buckwheat noodles of the Temple そば (refreshing, fragrant and delicious) Ice cream with Tan Nai (next to the foot bath soup pool, you can soak your feet while blowing the hair while eating dessert).
Overall, this hot spring trip has become a very good memory for us, looking forward to the future opportunity to come again.
Renovated in 2024, the Laforet Shuzenji Sanshisuimei offers both holiday makers and business travelers a pleasant stay in Izu. The hotel is just 8km away from Shuzenji Station. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Shigetsuden, Bamboo Forest Path and Katsura Bridge all nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Izu hotel offers parking on site. Our guests rate this hotel as one of the best hotels for cleanliness.

The place is amazing, own onsen in your room, and there is an amazing view of Fuji. The only problem is that there any restaurants for this hotel that doesn’t require a reservation prior to your check in, so if you need any food, you need to go to the hotel next-door. Other than that is a very good experience, very spacious room for your family or your friend, and it’s a great chance for you to get near nearer
to the nature.

This is my third visits at Tofuya Resort and their services are over excellent. My stay for this trip was disrupted by typhoon hagibis but the duty staff initiate a compensation voucher because one of the onsen facility was damage by the strong wind. Thank you.

GGuest UserI used it for the wedding anniversary celebration.
I've seen it in a magazine before, and I've been worried about it all the time, and this time I was able to ask my long-cherished wish come true.
The room, the food and the staff were able to spend a very good time with two people more than expected.
The facility name LOQUAT means ”Biwa”, and there is a ”Shirabiwa” that can only be seen in this area on the premises.
When I heard it at dinner, I thought it was a nice story, but after checking out, I asked the staff to suggest that it was the season, and I had a harvest experience.
It was a very enjoyable and valuable experience.
He also experiences making biwa sake, which seems to be very interesting.
In the future, I am very looking forward to increasing the number of 々 experience plans.
It is an inn that I want to visit again on an important day.
GGuest UserThe overall service is in place. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the service staff is very friendly. The kaiseki cuisine in the evening is very exquisite, and you can choose Japanese or European breakfast. Coffee and drinks in the lobby are free, and the public hot spring is also very comfortable. It is a good experience.
GGuest UserGreat room, great service, great experience. A traditional Japanese hotel, the food is very attentive, the hot spring is very comfortable and private, highly recommended. The countryside scenery is also very good
LLIHUAHotel location is good, very close to Xiushan Temple, Bamboo Forest Trail. There are 7 floors, which are considered high in local hotels.
There is a forest behind the hotel and the air is nice.
The old lady at the front desk was very kind and friendly in English.
Dining is a VIP room in each section, you can enjoy the food quietly.
Open air, go out on the fifth floor. The scale is not very large, connected to the mountains. An appointment is required. The time for soaking is 45 minutes. The time is up before people feel truly relaxed.
Breakfast time is earlier and I want to go back and rest after eating. The tatami beds have been put away. Check-out time is 10:30 in the morning, guests can't leave, and then clean up. Not very humane.
GGuest UserBetter than expected, clean and tidy! The hot spring in the room directly faces Mount Fuji, and you can enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Fuji while sitting on the terrace! The service is top-notch, and the food is fresh and delicious! Each building is independent and quiet, absolutely worth the money!
GGuest UserWe loved our stay at Onsen Yado Miuguchi. Very comfortable and traditional style Japanese Ryokan with nice onsen. The breakfast we added was very delicious and very filling. When we return to Shuzenji we will be happy to stay here again!
Ddorisyu4853The decoration is in the Western style of the 1980s. For some years, the room we stayed in still has paint smell. I don’t know if it has been repaired recently. I am a little worried about whether the health will be affected. The location is really partial, there is nothing around, the hotel is also small, only eight rooms, no public entertainment facilities, no public hot springs. It rained heavily on the day we arrived and could only stay in the room with no view. Be careful not to drive by yourself. Traffic is too difficult. Compared with such an expensive house price, I really want to faint. Just came from Asahi of Shuzenji the day before, this price is more expensive than Asana, but the experience is like mud. The price/performance ratio is too low. I don't know what the bottom line is. The good place is good service, good ingredients for dinner and breakfast, the next day the weather cleared, saw Mount Fuji, at the same time the hotel helped to contact a reasonable price taxi to the next destination, which is a little soothing to check the mood of the day.
한한국인이다It's the biggest hot spring in the neighborhood. The hot spring water itself is just clean and odorless, and the kaiseki is not bad, and all the facilities are good.
AApple mamaFacilities: The room and hotel facilities are very complete. The hotel has restaurants, shops, hot springs, and you can also enjoy the swimming pool and hot springs of the nearby Marriott Hotel
Hygiene: clean management
Environment: comfortable, very peaceful
Service: The only disadvantage is that the hotel does not have an elevator, you have to move your luggage by yourself, and there are no staff helpers
The front desk staff is very patient to answer and explain all questions👍
GGuest UserVery good as a facility and the meal was very satisfying
The air conditioner and dryer smelled moldy
At breakfast, a child about elementary school student did not mask despite the buffet form, and coughed with his hand and coughed, and wanted to eat slowly, but I immediately got a seat
The parents who don't make the mask are the first to be sorry, but because it is such a time, the staff also wanted to be careful.
The other was really good, so I want to go again when the corona settles down
