CChriswrThis was the hotel we were most looking forward to in Izu. The day we arrived, a young man from the entrance ran over to help us with our luggage from a distance. We were really excited about dinner; there was a huge variety of delicious food. We even paid extra for a lobster sashimi and sake, which was excellent! The room itself was quite simple, but the entire hotel environment was beautiful and clean. The check-out experience was also very unique and a pleasant surprise.

GGuest UserThis is a high-end resort hotel that combines traditional Japanese style with modern services. The hotel covers a large area and has villas and Japanese-style rooms. The area is very large and all built along the river. It used to be a high-end place for celebrities in Tokyo, Japan to vacation, gather and relax. There are many buildings and old objects from decades ago. Both the indoor hot springs and public hot springs are good. The outdoor hot spring can deeply feel the hotel's business philosophy and the deep integration of man and nature.

GGuest UserWe stayed here to celebrate my mother's 88th birthday. When we arrived, two women were waiting for us and quickly carried our luggage. The view of the Japanese garden from our room was wonderful, and the vivid fresh greenery was soothing to the soul. The dinner we had in our private room was a seasonal kaiseki meal, served one dish at a time in perfect timing and in beautiful utensils, all of which was delicious. We enjoyed a delicious coffee after the meal in the free cafe. The baths are switched between men's and women's, so we were able to enjoy both large baths. The flowers and furnishings throughout the building were also wonderful, and we took our time looking at them. The young man in charge was friendly and explained things carefully, so we had a pleasant stay. This is an inn that I would definitely like to visit again in a different season.

GGuest UserThe staff was very professional and kind. We reserved the private onsen for an additional cost. We booked the biggest onsen. The washing area and the changing room was impeccably clean. The end of the tub however was a bit scary. The walls and ceiling was covered in spider webs and there were giant spiders hanging on there which was a bit unnerving. Otherwise the public washing areas and the room were very clean. The ryokan however is a bit outdated. There are some markings on the wall and curtains.

SSumiAll aspects of the environment are very satisfactory, the food is very good, but the Japanese-style hotel that does not accept children. It is my favorite Japanese-style hot spring hotel. Another point is that it is more convenient to drive by yourself. However, the hotel should arrange a station pick-up and drop-off. Dinner: Super delicious!

GGuest UserThe hotel is fantastic! Every room type is different, each room is like a mini-villa with a private hot spring ♨️, I loved it! I chose the 140-square-meter, two-story room. The front desk service was excellent; they helped with my luggage and escorted me to my room. The next day, when I checked out, they immediately came to help my luggage when they saw my driver come to my room to help me (I heard this from the driver later). The hotel garden view is particularly beautiful. The only downside was that I decided to come to Izu and booked the hotel at the last minute, so I couldn't book the hotel's food (you have to book three days in advance). I highly recommend this hotel!

CCangerhebaiyunThe environment is nice, clean, and hygienic. There's no turndown service. It's right by the sea, so you can go for a walk in the evening. There are quite a few people fishing on the pier. There were a few insects near the hot spring in the room, probably because there's a mountain behind the hotel, but I managed to catch a few bigger ones! 💪 The sunset was beautiful, and lying in bed at night, I could even see the moon from my childhood! The photos are straight from the camera, unedited. The parking lot isn't at the hotel, which is inconvenient, and there's a lot of traffic when crossing the road. 😂

MMic890This hotel is located in uphill. It is difficult to walk up to the hotel, better to plan your itinerary with free shuttle schedule. The free shuttle bus schedule stored in the hotel website but the file I couldn’t able to download. You can call the hotel for details. The hotel facilitates are good but every single spot are not walking distance. It is suggested to buy some snacks/food before going up to the hotel. If you play golf, they have a view of Mt Fuji. The staff here are polite and willing to answer your questions.

OOctavia ChungOverall, I really enjoyed my stay at Alim Stay. The room was surprisingly spacious, making it a great escape from the busy streets of Tokyo. One of the highlights was the amazing sunset view from the balcony—it was absolutely beautiful. The room was slightly dusty in a few areas, but it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t take away from the overall experience. Another thing I loved was the onsen. You can easily make it private by simply locking the door, which was such a nice bonus HAHAHA! It made the experience even more relaxing. For the price, this place offers fantastic value. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with plenty of space and a beautiful view, I’d definitely recommend staying here.
