9.5/10

Amazing

CChriswrThis was the hotel we were most looking forward to in Izu. The day we arrived, a young man from the entrance ran over to help us with our luggage from a distance. We were really excited about dinner; there was a huge variety of delicious food. We even paid extra for a lobster sashimi and sake, which was excellent! The room itself was quite simple, but the entire hotel environment was beautiful and clean. The check-out experience was also very unique and a pleasant surprise.

Amazing

CChriswrThis small and beautiful hotel is opened by an old couple. It is very close to the white wall traditional hot spring villa where we first lived. The day we arrived at our check-in was already around 6:20 in the evening. After checking in, Grandma asked us what time to prepare dinner, because I booked one berth and two meals. The dinner part is still a bit looking forward to opening a blind box, there are grilled fish burned on the stove, various local side dishes, sashimi, miscellaneous grains, rice, and tempura. When we thought it was about to end, there were buckwheat noodles and fruits. It was really round after round. The room was very simple. After eating a good meal, Grandma has helped to lay the bed. When I went back to the room to change clothes, I went to the soup. The one who stayed on the same day should have a room for us. I enjoyed the hot spring pool. The next morning, I had a table for traditional breakfast. After eating a good meal, Grandma drove us to the nearby bus stop Tangdao Station. The overall stay is still very cost-effective, recommended

GGuest UserVery beautiful hotel...nicely built. We had a 90m2 Maisonette for 3 adults. Unfortunately, our accommodation was one of three that aren't riverside, and there was quite a bit of noisy foot traffic. The apartment is pretty but poorly laid out; the beds are upstairs, while downstairs there's the bathroom and a huge, useless table. Dinner was very good and plentiful. Breakfast, as always in Japan, was complicated because you can only choose a set menu, and you only end up eating about a third of it. The service was very friendly. The thermal bath (onsen) was very small. There's no hammam or fitness room.

EElaineNg_TravellerOur stay at Toi Fujiya Hotel felt like being treated to a 5-star experience. The service was absolutely exceptional - every staff member was incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed. The room was spacious and beautifully comfortable, with plush bedding and a relaxing atmosphere. The highlight was definitely the private onsen in the room - such a luxurious treat and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. And the food… wow! So much variety and every dish was delicious - a true feast that made every meal memorable. Overall, Toi Fujiya Hotel went above and beyond in every way. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

逆逆行人生It was a wonderful traditional Japanese stay. The rooms were newly renovated and the environment was very quiet. The traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast were both very special. The private bath was a great experience. I recommend that people set aside their pursuit of ”newness and modernity” and immerse themselves in traditional Japanese culture for a day; it's a truly relaxing experience.

SSumiAll aspects of the environment are very satisfactory, the food is very good, but the Japanese-style hotel that does not accept children. It is my favorite Japanese-style hot spring hotel. Another point is that it is more convenient to drive by yourself. However, the hotel should arrange a station pick-up and drop-off. Dinner: Super delicious!

EerinsisiMy stay at Izu Shuzenji Marriott exceeded all expectations! Japanese hotels are generally quite compact, but this one was exceptionally spacious. Both twin beds were 1.5 meters wide, and there was a sofa, providing ample space to move around. The room even came with a private onsen bath, which was incredibly healing. Perched on a mountaintop, the hotel offered expansive views, though it was cloudy during my visit, so I missed seeing Mount Fuji. The restaurant's window seats had an amazing ambiance. Both the food and the environment were excellent, and the service was attentive. This is definitely my top choice for a hot spring getaway in Izu. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe hotel is fantastic! Every room type is different, each room is like a mini-villa with a private hot spring ♨️, I loved it! I chose the 140-square-meter, two-story room. The front desk service was excellent; they helped with my luggage and escorted me to my room. The next day, when I checked out, they immediately came to help my luggage when they saw my driver come to my room to help me (I heard this from the driver later). The hotel garden view is particularly beautiful. The only downside was that I decided to come to Izu and booked the hotel at the last minute, so I couldn't book the hotel's food (you have to book three days in advance). I highly recommend this hotel!

CCangerhebaiyunThe environment is nice, clean, and hygienic. There's no turndown service. It's right by the sea, so you can go for a walk in the evening. There are quite a few people fishing on the pier. There were a few insects near the hot spring in the room, probably because there's a mountain behind the hotel, but I managed to catch a few bigger ones! 💪 The sunset was beautiful, and lying in bed at night, I could even see the moon from my childhood! The photos are straight from the camera, unedited. The parking lot isn't at the hotel, which is inconvenient, and there's a lot of traffic when crossing the road. 😂

OOctavia ChungOverall, I really enjoyed my stay at Alim Stay. The room was surprisingly spacious, making it a great escape from the busy streets of Tokyo. One of the highlights was the amazing sunset view from the balcony—it was absolutely beautiful. The room was slightly dusty in a few areas, but it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t take away from the overall experience. Another thing I loved was the onsen. You can easily make it private by simply locking the door, which was such a nice bonus HAHAHA! It made the experience even more relaxing. For the price, this place offers fantastic value. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with plenty of space and a beautiful view, I’d definitely recommend staying here.
