This is a Tang Dynasty-style guesthouse hidden deep in the village of Gulgou. It's about a 20-minute drive from Gulgou town. We arrived late at night in the dark, and the owner came down from the roadside to help us with our luggage. The guesthouse is built into the mountainside, so there are steps leading up and down, which can be a bit tiring. However, the view is absolutely stunning. Opening the windows and doors, you can see the distant colorful forests and snow-capped mountains, completely unobstructed. Every detail in the rooms is exquisite and refined. The carpets, stools, beds, washbasins, etc., were all carefully designed by the owner and handcrafted by artisans. They are truly unique and cannot be replicated. In the evening, we warmed ourselves by burning firewood in the fireplace. Sitting around the coffee table on the carpet, drinking tea and wine, we weren't cold at all. We chatted for a long time, sharing our views on Tang Dynasty history and modern society. The owner was very knowledgeable, and we listened attentively. At night, with the electric blankets on, we weren't cold either. The guesthouse is quiet, far from the hustle and bustle. We slept in until we naturally woke up in the morning. Breakfast was simple: sweet potato porridge, eggs, shumai, pickled vegetables, etc. It wasn't fancy, but it felt very much like ordinary rural life. We only stayed one day, but I must say, it's worth staying longer to experience a different way of life.

This hotel near the scenic area is a real hidden gem, and my overall experience was fantastic. The location is superb, parking was convenient for those driving, and it's very close to all the main attractions. The room was clean and tidy, with relatively new facilities and soft bedding. The soundproofing was excellent; it was so quiet in the mountains at night, I slept incredibly well. The hotel is built into the hillside, surrounded by lush green mountains. The common areas have a wonderful atmosphere, and there's even a coffee and beer house. You can relax with a coffee during the day or unwind with a drink at night, and all your travel fatigue just melts away. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, check-in was efficient, and they were happy to share local tips. It's perfect for both family trips and friends traveling together. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area.

The house should be remodeled from an old house, giving people a warm feeling! The kitchen is also very clean, horse tea is cooked at any time on the stove, there are small snacks! Uncle Aqian at the hotel will greet us warmly and tell us where it is fun. The children like the Tibetan hot pot made by Aqian, and the steamed buns and scones made by uncle! It tastes great! If you don't want to climb the mountain, sit and drink some tea at the hotel, and see the scenery is also very comfortable! If you want to climb the mountain behind the B&B is Ergu Creek, the whole landscape snow is more perfect. Uncle said that autumn is more beautiful, I have already thought about the second brush early!

Cleanliness: It's clean and hygienic, everything is good. Environment: The surrounding area is a campsite where children can have a lot of fun. Many people also camp overnight there, and there's a restaurant. Service: The restaurant management seemed a bit chaotic; we waited an hour and our food still hadn't arrived. The campsite also had a bonfire party, which was very lively.

The room was clean, with air-conditioning electric blankets, a quilt plus a blanket, and it was not cold to sleep at night in winter, but the bed was a bit hard. Disposable toiletries are available, and towels and bath towels are also very clean. The boss is also very good, the location is not very easy to find, when you call the boss, they will pick you up. I am very satisfied with this price.

This hot spring hotel was a fantastic experience! The rooms were clean and tidy, fully equipped, and the bedding was comfortable. The location of the homestay is very suitable for friends who like quietness. The cabin with a small attic is very popular with children. The biggest advantage is to enjoy Laojungou alone. Behind the wooden house, the water quality is clear, and you can return to the house to change your clothes in a minute. The downside is that the surrounding facilities are too poor. Dinner goes to the concentrated area about one kilometer away. I don't know if it is because of the peak season. The service, dishes, taste and price are very bad. Compared with the Guergou dining price and taste after an hour, it is too far away.
