This is a Tang Dynasty-style guesthouse hidden deep in the village of Gulgou. It's about a 20-minute drive from Gulgou town. We arrived late at night in the dark, and the owner came down from the roadside to help us with our luggage. The guesthouse is built into the mountainside, so there are steps leading up and down, which can be a bit tiring. However, the view is absolutely stunning. Opening the windows and doors, you can see the distant colorful forests and snow-capped mountains, completely unobstructed. Every detail in the rooms is exquisite and refined. The carpets, stools, beds, washbasins, etc., were all carefully designed by the owner and handcrafted by artisans. They are truly unique and cannot be replicated. In the evening, we warmed ourselves by burning firewood in the fireplace. Sitting around the coffee table on the carpet, drinking tea and wine, we weren't cold at all. We chatted for a long time, sharing our views on Tang Dynasty history and modern society. The owner was very knowledgeable, and we listened attentively. At night, with the electric blankets on, we weren't cold either. The guesthouse is quiet, far from the hustle and bustle. We slept in until we naturally woke up in the morning. Breakfast was simple: sweet potato porridge, eggs, shumai, pickled vegetables, etc. It wasn't fancy, but it felt very much like ordinary rural life. We only stayed one day, but I must say, it's worth staying longer to experience a different way of life.

The environment is excellent, with an authentic ******* vibe. The infinity hot spring offers a first-class experience, and the water quality is wonderfully comfortable. The room is clean with no strange odors, and the facilities are complete. There's also a laundry room, and the underground parking is very convenient, complete with charging stations. The butler service is warm and attentive, and the food and accommodation quality are top-notch. It’s an absolutely fantastic place for a summer getaway and relaxation, highly recommended! The food is also great, especially the cold dishes—a must-try!

This is the third time I have come to see the Snow Mountain B&B. The last time I came was in summer, and the Ergu Creek in winter was another scenery. Although it is a pity that there is no snow, the scenery of the snow-capped mountains is enough to be shocking. This time I stayed in the largest sister room, the name should be taken from the sister peak of Siguniang Mountain. The room is clean and tidy, with its own floor heating, and it will not be cold in winter. The housekeeper and his wife are still kind and cute, and they also saw the cute dog Hanamaki. For dinner, I ordered a Tibetan hot pot that I was thinking about. Sitting in the glass dome restaurant, while enjoying the steaming food, while looking at the distant mountains and the sky, it seems that people can forget all their troubles. A very nice hot spring hotel, located right by the roadside in Gulgou. There are several restaurants nearby, and a supermarket at the entrance. The rooms are spacious, and there are both indoor and outdoor hot spring pools. The service is excellent, and the owner is incredibly kind.
