This is a Tang Dynasty-style guesthouse hidden deep in the village of Gulgou. It's about a 20-minute drive from Gulgou town. We arrived late at night in the dark, and the owner came down from the roadside to help us with our luggage. The guesthouse is built into the mountainside, so there are steps leading up and down, which can be a bit tiring. However, the view is absolutely stunning. Opening the windows and doors, you can see the distant colorful forests and snow-capped mountains, completely unobstructed. Every detail in the rooms is exquisite and refined. The carpets, stools, beds, washbasins, etc., were all carefully designed by the owner and handcrafted by artisans. They are truly unique and cannot be replicated. In the evening, we warmed ourselves by burning firewood in the fireplace. Sitting around the coffee table on the carpet, drinking tea and wine, we weren't cold at all. We chatted for a long time, sharing our views on Tang Dynasty history and modern society. The owner was very knowledgeable, and we listened attentively. At night, with the electric blankets on, we weren't cold either. The guesthouse is quiet, far from the hustle and bustle. We slept in until we naturally woke up in the morning. Breakfast was simple: sweet potato porridge, eggs, shumai, pickled vegetables, etc. It wasn't fancy, but it felt very much like ordinary rural life. We only stayed one day, but I must say, it's worth staying longer to experience a different way of life.

The environment is excellent, with an authentic ******* vibe. The infinity hot spring offers a first-class experience, and the water quality is wonderfully comfortable. The room is clean with no strange odors, and the facilities are complete. There's also a laundry room, and the underground parking is very convenient, complete with charging stations. The butler service is warm and attentive, and the food and accommodation quality are top-notch. It’s an absolutely fantastic place for a summer getaway and relaxation, highly recommended! The food is also great, especially the cold dishes—a must-try!

This is the third time I have come to see the Snow Mountain B&B. The last time I came was in summer, and the Ergu Creek in winter was another scenery. Although it is a pity that there is no snow, the scenery of the snow-capped mountains is enough to be shocking. This time I stayed in the largest sister room, the name should be taken from the sister peak of Siguniang Mountain. The room is clean and tidy, with its own floor heating, and it will not be cold in winter. The housekeeper and his wife are still kind and cute, and they also saw the cute dog Hanamaki. For dinner, I ordered a Tibetan hot pot that I was thinking about. Sitting in the glass dome restaurant, while enjoying the steaming food, while looking at the distant mountains and the sky, it seems that people can forget all their troubles. Hope to come back next time in autumn red leaves season!

The room was clean, with air-conditioning electric blankets, a quilt plus a blanket, and it was not cold to sleep at night in winter, but the bed was a bit hard. Disposable toiletries are available, and towels and bath towels are also very clean. The boss is also very good, the location is not very easy to find, when you call the boss, they will pick you up. I am very satisfied with this price.

The location of the homestay is very suitable for friends who like quietness. The cabin with a small attic is very popular with children. The biggest advantage is to enjoy Laojungou alone. Behind the wooden house, the water quality is clear, and you can return to the house to change your clothes in a minute. The downside is that the surrounding facilities are too poor. Dinner goes to the concentrated area about one kilometer away. I don't know if it is because of the peak season. The service, dishes, taste and price are very bad. Compared with the Guergou dining price and taste after an hour, it is too far away.

This hotel near the scenic area is a real hidden gem, and my overall experience was fantastic. The location is superb, parking was convenient for those driving, and it's very close to all the main attractions. The room was clean and tidy, with relatively new facilities and soft bedding. The soundproofing was excellent; it was so quiet in the mountains at night, I slept incredibly well. The hotel is built into the hillside, surrounded by lush green mountains. The common areas have a wonderful atmosphere, and there's even a coffee and beer house. You can relax with a coffee during the day or unwind with a drink at night, and all your travel fatigue just melts away. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, check-in was efficient, and they were happy to share local tips. It's perfect for both family trips and friends traveling together. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area.

The owner was great! They called us before check-in to confirm our arrival time and asked if we needed the air conditioning turned on in advance. We arrived at the hotel around noon. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard and even a camping area. In the afternoon, we could enjoy afternoon tea in the garden. The room was lovely! As soon as we entered our room, we could see a beautiful mountain view. The private hot spring was indoors, but it had large French windows, so we could soak in the hot spring and enjoy the mountain views without worrying about getting cold! This design by the owner is truly fantastic!
