At the height of the Xilamuren grassland, the sky cleared up after the rain, and the sky, grassland, sheep, and Laer formed an excellent natural scenery that is unforgettable. After three years of epidemic, it is not easy to maintain such equipment, facilities, and performance standards. I highly recommend it. The only drawback is that the mutton dishes are all very large and not suitable for small families.

Both lunch and dinner were excellent, and we were especially impressed by the Lamb Bao served at breakfast. Overall, the service and warmth from the people were genuinely good. That said, all the costs were quite expensive compared to what I'm used to after living and traveling in China for more than 10 years. I would recommend the horse riding off the main area, as they suggest, but the Happy Ranch was not that fulfilling—most of the rides and activities there weren't worth the time or money. That's an external activity though, so no discredit to the hotel itself. While we didn't end up using the actual amenities, the hospitality and cultural performance alone made the visit worthwhile. Absolutely amazing reviews, nothing to say. The hotel customer service, Mr. Li who picked us up, and the rest of the hotel staff were all super nice. The hotel has private bathrooms, which are clean and well-equipped. They provided free pick-up and drop-off, took us on tours, and gave us many discounts. We had a blast. We met lovely people on the Xilamuren Grassland. I'm so happy and will definitely come back! It's much more reliable to contact a hotel than a tour group! Blue skies, white clouds, green grass, and adorable lambs! Horseback riding and archery at the Aobao meeting were so much fun.
