GGuest UserThis grassland trip is simply a dream love tour! The grassland is endless, and the wild flowers are scattered among them, and the wallpaper is all taken care of. During the play, the tour guide took care of everyone's needs, wanted to take pictures and park at any time, and also shared a lot of photo tips. The folklore experience activities arranged in the itinerary are great. I learned the Mongolian dairy production and drank the yogurt I made, which was super fulfilling. There are also wonderful folk performances in the evening, and the wonderful performances of the dancers, which makes people have a deeper understanding of the grassland culture. It is really worthwhile!

GGuest UserPassing by for business, I experienced the yurt and looked at the life and customs of the herdsmen. The boss's service attitude was very good and enthusiastic. The starry sky on the grassland at night was beautiful! Healing! But if you want to play, this season is not recommended. If you have time, come back to play during the summer vacation!

The hotel is located on the grasslands and right on the road, making it easy to drive to and with ample parking.
Here, I felt the vastness and tranquility of the grasslands, a truly relaxing experience. It's perfect for daydreaming, exercising, thinking, and reading. You can choose any of these, or none of them—it's all up to you.
The staff arranged a two-bedroom Mongolian yurt for four people, a higher category than I'd booked. Thankfully, they didn't mention the upgrade. I only discovered this this morning when I checked the room options online. Since I left the hotel early, I didn't have time to thank them in person. I'd like to say thank you to the hotel staff for making this grassland trip truly wonderful.
My room was spacious, the linens were clean, and the mornings and evenings were incredibly quiet. I was left with nothing but positive feedback.
Not much more to say; those interested can come and experience it in person.
I should also mention that, because it was still off-season, I was the only guest last night. Although I'm in my sixties, I'm naturally afraid, as is often the case with women. The staff assured me it was perfectly safe and that everyone else was staying at the hotel. So, feeling completely safe, I sit by the window and watch the moonlight, feeling only beauty and nothing else.

YYoke HongBeautiful resort in the Xilamuren grasslands, with a mix of traditional yurts and unique modern-styled accommodations. I stayed in both types of accommodation and both were very comfortable. Full length windows offer views of the expansive grasslands in the day, while the yurts also have a unique skyroof design for stargazing on clearer nights.
Breakfast was quite simple local fare, mainly porridge with sides like pickles and egg, very filling. Lunch and dinner is not inclusive but there is a large menu that you can order from. The resort also has its own bar! I believe it is open nightly during the peak season of July/August, and depending on guest volumes at other times.
The boss Mr Da and his staff were so welcoming and kind. I travelled solo, and they added me on WeChat so that I could easily reach them if I had any questions or needs. Boss Da also very kindly took me to a few local sights and spots, since I did not have my own means of transport (感谢达老板!). Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the resort. If I were to visit Xilamuren again, Xilamuren Grassland Mongolian Holy Land Resort would definitely be my accommodation of choice.

Walking into the restaurant, it is spacious and bright, with a large round table and blue chairs, it looks comfortable. The food is also excellent, the local specialties are authentic, the taste is good, and the food is super satisfying. I ordered the hand-pulled mutton fried noodles. Even the eggs have a unique flavor. I don’t know if it’s a psychological effect that everything on the grassland is so delicious. Living in such a place, you can not only feel the unique architectural style, but also eat delicious food, and experience it to the fullest! Whether it is a family trip or a group of friends, it is very suitable. I must give a big praise. I will choose here next time!
