Giriwood Hotel & Villa Reviews

A beautifully designed hotel in the highlands of Wanagiri, the weather is cool and temperate after the humidity of Ubud. If you want to get away from it all this is the place, very peaceful and idyllic setting with a heated open-air swimming pool overlooking the jungle, mountains, and the sea. There is a waterfall a few minutes walk away. The room and bed were huge, everything very clean and well-maintained. Excellent shower. Food in the restaurant was delicious, staff are very friendly and professional. However, to make the most of this location you need your own transport, which we didn't have, so we only stayed one night before moving to Bedugul.

This establishment is a little gem, ideally located for visiting the surrounding waterfalls. One of the most beautiful is located less than 2 km from the hotel. The staff is dedicated and friendly. The cabin-like rooms are nestled in the lush vegetation. A must-see: the heated pool. Highly recommended!

The environment is really good, the air quality is good, the eyes are green, the swimming pool is clean, the breakfast is rich, the front desk staff is very friendly and helped us solve many problems.

On the mountain, sit down and prepare to go around the mountain. It is very cool. There is no air conditioning in the room, but there is a heater. I booked a villa and the room was very big. I don't quite understand why a bathroom as big as a room doesn't have dry and wet separation, and the toilet and shower are together. And the linen really brought down the quality of the entire hotel. All the towels were threaded, and I suspected there was something wrong with the hotel's washing. The bed cover was also torn. The staff are enthusiastic and the service is good. Apart from the two shortcomings mentioned above, everything else is satisfactory.
