Sheraton Park Hotel at The Anaheim Resort

I think it's absolutely fantastic! First off, it's pretty close to the park; a taxi ride is only about ten bucks, and walking back after the park closes at night takes just over ten minutes – a real time and effort saver. Secondly, the price is simply amazing. Three nights here cost less than one night at an official hotel. Since official hotels don't offer early entry anymore, it makes sense to save some money. A taxi to Goofy's Kitchen was also ten bucks, so we got to have our first meal in the US and explore the park's hotel! šŸ˜‚ The official check-in time is 4 PM, but we arrived around 12 PM, and the lady at the front desk checked us in right away – super grateful for that! We got drenched in a downpour and came into a super warm room for a great nap. The fridge in the room works perfectly, and the bed is very comfortable. My room was even next to the ice machine, which was incredibly convenient! There are plenty of outlets in the room, so no worries there. My mom said the pool was great, but I didn't go. Everything was awesome, except for the shower water pressure being a bit low (though the next hotel I stayed at also had low water pressure, is California experiencing a water shortage? 🄹).

The hotel is right between the source and residential area so there's no self parking. If you park overnight at the source, you might risk being towed. The only option is valet parking for $25 a night, which isn't bad compared to the places in LA we were going to. They give you a ticket with a QR on it and every morning, you just have to scan it 5-10 minutes before going downstairs and that gives them ample of time to pull it up from their garage. The lobby smells weird but the rooms smell just fine. My parents really enjoyed the the king size bed with pool view and our room worked out just fine. I wish we had the time to swim in the pool though. We were just so tired from our itinerary during the day. Every night we returned to our room, the sheets were changed and we got new towels. One day they came at 8am when we were still sleeping in so they were super on top of it. We ran out of conditioner and that was never refilled but I also never told them what I specifically needed. The check out process was super swift. They just end up deducting the valet fee from the deposit, which is $75 a night.

The Waterfront Beach Resort, A Hilton Hotel

This was our first time at The Waterfront Beach Resort, and will be our new go to when in the area. We were treated so kindly by everyone we came into contact with. Upon check in, we were upgraded to a suite for my husbands bday. What a treat! Comfy beds, inviting area. We were here in Dec a few weeks before Christmas and it was so pretty! Fun events for the kids (didn’t travel with ours this time) but they had Santa and the Grinch to take pics with. Good food at Cabo Wabo for both dinner one night and the weekend breakfast buffet one morning. Parking was a little pricey ($50 per night), that ended up adding a bit to our stay, but seems pretty normal in California. Steps from the beach and beautiful ocean view from the room. 5/5 stars for us!

I wish I can keep it short and simple but this place was just perfect. If your looking for great amenities, location, hospitality and a good price this is it. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. You’re greeted with warm cookies at check in and the entire hotel is very easily accessible. It sits right next to the highway for easy traveling and no noise in the room at all. The rooms were very clean and provided everything my family needed.

Highly recommended for a Disney trip in Anaheim! I think this is one of the best hotels to stay at when visiting Disneyland in Anaheim. The room was very clean, the bathroom was easy to use, and the bed was soft and comfortable. The front desk staff were all very kind and welcoming. I’ve stayed here three times, and so far I’ve never had a negative experience with the staff. One thing to note is that there is a fee to use the microwave. Also, the hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the park, so it may not be ideal for those who don’t like walking. However, I personally recommend walking because there are large drugstores like CVS along the way, which is very convenient for buying food and other essentials.

Disneyland Hotel is always a magical place to stay like all the other Disney Parks hotels my family has stayed at. Front Lobby staff always make things so easy and they’re always so welcoming and accommodating. One thing I wanted to point out was one staffer who clearly just works there expecting tips. Edward Chavez helped my family with their bags and not only was rude ā€œI thought you guys were ready, but you’re there just taking picturesā€ and then expected a tip to the point that he provided his Venmo account to make sure he was compensated. What a blemish in what otherwise is typically a great experience at a Disney Parks hotel.

Room was seemingly clean, but walking barefoot in the room for 5 min made our feet completely black. Nonetheless, room was comfortable for an overnight stay and good location to base yourself if visiting the Disneyland parks. I specifically chose this hotel because of free parking and free shuttle to the Disneyland Parks, but was dismayed to find out upon check-in that we were not allowed to leave our car parked in the property after check out. This was not made known to us beforehand which I think the hotel should explicitly state in the description. We ended up having to drive out and park at Disneyland itself which kind of defeated the main purpose of us booking this hotel. According to the front office staff, you're allowed to leave your car parked prior to check in but not after check out so do take that into consideration before booking/while staying. Breakfast is kinda abysmal too. You request for either a microwaveable croissant sandwich or a breakfast pita from the reception which you then heat up in the microwaves in the breakfast room. Other than that, they had some breakfast cereal selection, cup yoghurt, over-riped bananas and some beverage. If you care only about proximity to the Disneyland parks, you can consider this property

The location was good. You cannot see the ocean from the hotel, but if you drive, you can use beach parking ($1.50/hour I think. Recommend you go early. It’s get busy). If the front desk is open, I assume you can borrow regular bikes from the hotel too. When I entered the room, the ribbon and the decor of the room were nice. I could also tell that they use a very good mattress. However, there was sand on the floor, which is understandable since it is near the beach. Floor itself had not been cleaned. Found an ant crawling in the room too. The bathroom door was broken, so we could not close it. Also, half of the shower’s glass door was missing, so the shower water leaked out.

The hotel is a bit old but I like the setup as it is a suite. The location is not far from disneyland. On our forat day hte rooms.wanst cleaned. Every day after, I had to wait for.thwm.to come by and we had to go.outsode the door.for.them.to clean it even then, they did not really clean it to standarda I.whad to ask them to vacuum the floor. They also do not give us 4.towels as what I have reserved. They want us to call the service desk and they come to.del8ver it so not bad. I just think it's ridiculous when the housekeeping itself.reuse to give extra. I only went.t9 a breakfast once. It looks like they always have the same menu every day. Overall, it's not that bad. But if they improve the service, that would be a wonderful hotel.
