Nuremberg Hotels with Balcony

Considering this is only a 3* property, the staff make sure you have a far greater experience that really impresses. The hotel is located a relatively short walk from Nuremberg Castle (about 10 -15 minutes) which is the Northern point of the old town. You can also ride the 4 Tramline that stops outside the hotel or the U3 underground line is less than a 10 minute walk. As such, you're very well connected and in easy reach of everything the city has to offer. The hotel looks like an older building, almost medieval in it's styling, but it is modern, fresh and clean. They are practicing COVID protocols, which must be followed and that included having a vaccination certificate to check in. Masks are required in all the public areas and you need to specify a breakfast time so as they can organize the distance seating. My room was odd in that it was huge, but set for one person. A big double bed, but with a single duvet and just one pillow. The linens were fresh and clean and mattress comfortable. There's a desk, chair, small table, flat screen TV and good space for luggage and hanging clothes, but it felt very empty because of the size. Hardly a complaint. There's a fridge, which is very welcome. The heating was good and needed in the cold winter. Bathrooms have a shower/tub and basin with excellent hot water pressure, but the only amenity is a standard body/hair wash. Towels were a bit old, but certainly clean. Currently, house keeping is limited because of COVID, but towels are refreshed every day and they empty the trash. Breakfast is excellent. On my first morning, they even laid out a chocolate Santa for me, which was very nice. There is everything you'd want to eat and more. A really good selection of hot and cold items, all of very high quality. It's buffet style, but the staff are still there to help and are always friendly and clear tables quickly. The one problem the hotel is currently experiencing is with their WIFI provider. Although free, the property has run into a tech issue they seem unable to solve that means you have to pay to log in to each device. You will have no choice but to pay, so make sure when you login you get a receipt. Just email it to the front desk and they will immediately reimburse you either in cash or make a credit on your credit card. They are just as frustrated by the provider as the guests, but they are super efficient about repaying the guest's costs. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this hotel. Very nice staff and good problem solvers that means problems aren't problems at all. I believe there is parking on site, but I didn't need it. They also have fresh fruit to help yourself throughout the day. A great option for Nuremburg.

Nice hotel with great spa area, but the water in the swimming pool is very cold. Delightful breakfast. Personal was ok.

I had stuff to do in Nuremberg and found this place for a good price. It was close to all the restaurants I was meeting friends at, so I could walk. Also there is a train station close by. The rooms were good, and has a good size mini-fridge. The bed is your standard German Bed, so hard and stiff. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel has a chain in many parts of Germany, generally not in the city center, but not far from the subway. The room is not big, there is no way to add an extra bed. The biggest advantage is that the tableware is complete, equipped with a sink and an induction cooker. You can buy the ingredients yourself at the opposite supermarket. The only downside is that it is stuck on the road, a bit noisy...

Eco-Apartments, Nürnberg An interesting property! Trying to get entry is cumbersome! But when calling the property reception so to speak, the lady very helpful and assisting us to get Credit Card style cards issued which worked like a charm, suggestion don’t reply on the internet (correction card worked fine first day, but 2nd day onwards didn’t work at the Gym, had to get the internet log in working, wasted 25 minutes) The Good: its walking distance to FrauenTor & Altstadt including 2 great churches & shopping/markets etc! Apartment itself small but nicely furnished, great for 1 person, adequate at best for 2, if you carry luggage for 6 weeks! (Furniture apparently mainly chinese made el cheapo) Kitchenette small but works! BE AWARE, no microwave! But everything else available including 2 ceran tops! Equipment and table ware plenty for this size apartment! Fridge good size, standard oven available! (Correction, found the microwave by accident, was build into the Oven function, would have been nice to have an instruction/introduction somewhere!😥) While the crockery was decent, cutlery and cookery ware not only pretty cheap but not user friendly) Large balcony, but view to the back of a bunch of buildings! So don’t stay there if a nice view is what you are looking for! The bathroom, barely can make it, quite tight, so if you are large size, watch it! 😂😂😂 Be aware, no service at all, you gotta run around for towels (pay extra) refills for Soap & Shampoo not barely enough, Staff working there if you are lucky to catch one, doesn’t speak either English or German and only give you a blur / disinterested look! The Bed, oh my god, size is ok, but the bed covers are a joke, especially in the winter! 2 small cushions, and 2 even smaller ones, sorry but not good enough! 2 sets of chairs, one for the mini dining table, another 2 one for mini desk and a kind of a smallish comfy chair! The heating system, if like us you come from a warmer climate, be aware that the heating is set to 21C, for living area can adjust, but for bathroom it will always reset to 21C even if you want to increase the temperature, it will eventually come down, especially annoying if you need to dry clothing on the provided rack! WIFI, available, but don’t hold your breath, seems when most residents try to access them expect constant slowdown/interruptions! Downloading of mail can take time! In today’s world not good enough! Gym, surprisingly, even if it is located in the dungeons, good quality and choice of equipment, so if this is your thing, it’s better then most places we visited! However, better speak German if you want to use some of the equipment, such as step master, the cycle & treadmill! Carpark, goodness, it’s tighter then tight, access through the room card, be ultra careful! it’s ok for mini and smart cars, but for a mid size SUV! Good luck! Less than 1000 meters from the castle, there is free parking on the side of the road, nervous. The hotel has a chargeable underground garage. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the castle and about 20 minutes to the square. Cheap prices, spacious rooms and good hygiene. Overall satisfaction, recommended

There were two nights, breakfast delicious,the breads from the baker from the place, hm delicious. Shower some narrow but the room distribution in the bathroom is good. The sauna is very spacious. Service very friendly. Location good, you get quickly to the south city and can reach the Nürnberg Forest from the hotel. Come back

The hotel is just outside of the medieval Nuremberg city walls in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes walk to the city center and the famous Christmas Markets. It is nestled in two nondescript older buildings but boasts sleek, modern rooms fitted with great beds, a small balcony and even a heated bathroom floor. It has a cozy dining room and sitting area in the main building and served a simple but adequate breakfast. We enjoyed a cordial welcome by the owner, Christina, who arranged for off street parking close by.
