I stayed here for one night before heading out to the airport to fly back home and I was impressed with the hotel facilities. Is like a US based Sheraton not your EU like one. The lobby was very nice and modern, the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was very clean and nice. The breakfast area and whole selection and options were great. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and deserving kudos for their doing above and beyond. The front desk staff were very hospitable from the check in lady to the checkout guy. Overall a good place to stay and it will be for sure my place to stay next time I’m in Nuremberg. No more Le Meridian 😜.
Experience Nuremberg at its finest at our ideally situated hotel, just minutes from the historic old town and lively Luitpoldhain.

We enjoyed an upgrade to an executive room due to our Accor membership status. The room was spacious with an internal door that separated the bedroom from the entry way and the bathroom. This door kept out all noise from the public hallway. The recently refurbished room was tastefully decorated with an extremely comfortable bed and linens. The towels are small and worn. They barely absorbed water. They desperately need replacing.
The lustrous flair of a classic grand hotel, enhanced with state-of-the-art technology and all of the convenient features you expect from a historic hotel of this standard – all this and more is offered at Le Méridien Grand Hotel Nuremberg, against the stunning backdrop of Nuremberg Germany's ancient city center. Just a short stroll from our luxury hotel, visitors will find museums, shops, the city's famous market and the Imperial Castle. All 190 rooms feature a flat screen TV, safe, Internet and TV, iPod docking station, wireless and cable Internet access. Worried about leaving your furry friends behind? Bring them along! Our hotel is pet friendly and welcomes trained pets. A special touch of luxury is the new Le Méridien Bed, designed by LM 100 artist Nick Dine. Elegant Art Nouveau-style marble bathrooms highlight the skillful fusion of classic and modern style. Once the door closes behind you and the day's stress is forgotten, all you need to do is relax and look forward to the evening.

Location is opposite the central train station and next to city centre. Hotel has an old vintage flair, if that's your thing. The small room is pretty small but will work for short trips if you don't have a lot of luggage.

People, pay attention: when you get to your rooms, always check the a/c, especially in the summer. It seems this hotel has huge problems with the a/c and the whole management and no matter if the a/c is broken in the rooms, they'll still put you there and charge you the absolutely same amount of money as for a ”normal” room. Absolutely unacceptable for NH Collection, excuse me!!
My case: I went to my room and thought everything is ok. 4 hours later I figured out that the a/c doesn't cool down the room, but only the ventilation & heating functions are working. When I complained, the guy at the reception told me: ”I can't do anything right now, you just open your window and tomorrow when the technician can't repair the a/c, your room will be changed”. ***?! Really?! NH Collection??
On the next day they have me another room, where the a/c worked exactly for 24h. On the day I had to check-out, the a/c stopped working as well. The lady at the reception only said: ” Oh, also this room needs to be repaired”. When she opened her list, there were at least 10 rooms marked red with broken a/c.
In sum: Never again there!!!

Nice hotel with great spa area, but the water in the swimming pool is very cold. Delightful breakfast. Personal was ok.

We stayed one night, the room was well cleaned, the bathroom well-equipped, and the bed comfortable; there was no air con, but there was a fan instead which worked alright for us. Lighting was very nice and well-arranged too. Little gummibears from Haribo on the pillows was a nice touch. Parking was paid (8 euro a night), but easy to access and use. The only glitch was that according to the hotel info, checkout time was 11am, while the lady at the reception desk insisted very much we check out at 10 instead. Also, it would be nice to have something warm to drink in the evening, but there were only cold drinks available at the machine downstairs and no kettle in the room.

Outstanding
Jjojo好好玩Overall good. On the pedestrian street in the city center, there is a high-rated Japanese ramen downstairs.
The simple style of the room is beautiful. It feels like a hotel remodeled by a church or office building.
But we arrived late that night, and the front desk got off work at 8 o'clock and left us a room card. It said a number. We thought it was the room number and found someone inside. We were both scared. Finally, I found out that the original room number was not.... The room number was written in the envelope.....
CCTBeautiful hotel, central location, clean.
Excellent swimming pool and spa.
Excellent service, I forgot a sweatshirt in the room (a gift I am very fond of) and immediately they found it and sent it to my home address.
Nice and good breakfast.
Super recommended!
GGuest UserLocation very comfortable, face to the metro, well-cared and friendly staff and with excellent English. I suggest a few improvements, since the client is also business. The hostel was probably full during my stay, so the bathrooms were not clean as I would expect them, and two only toilets for men on the floor seem to me few, because I had to stay in the coat. I would like to have a more choice for breakfast, especially for the sweet but also for the salt.
GGuest UserStayed 2 nights while in Nuremberg at the Hampton and found it to be perfectly fine. It's a short 5 minute walk if that from the station past all the other hotels - Motel One , Leonardo, Novotel and Premier Inn so the area is well lit and very safe. The U2 train from the airport to Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof / station service is excellent. Checkin was quick and allocated room on the 5th floor facing the street - there was no noise during the night so the sound proofing must have been good. The room was a good size, compact yet functional. The bed was clean and actually very comfortable , nice and firm , I had a great night's sleep. The bathroom was fine, again it was compact but it did the job. Easy to use shower, toiletries fixed to the wall as seems to be the case these days. Towels were a little thin but that's a minor issue. Wifi was free and easy to connect , the complimentary bottle of water was a nice touch and overall a pretty decent room , well appointed and clean. Wardrobe space was limited but sufficient for a short stay. The free Hampton breakfast wasn't too bad - as many Nuremberg sausages as you could eat with scrambled egg and some beans or potato squares. Nice selection of bread and pastries. The cold meat and cheese selection was poor quality but the highlight was the easy to use waffle maker , a hit with everyone. Machine coffee and juices were so so but considering it's a budget hotel it was better than I expected. The coffee machine is available all day long so grab a cup after a day sightseeing in the city. Staff were excellent , always cheerful and happy to help. A fellow guest wanted a 10 minute hard boiled egg as the ones in the buffet were only cooked for 6 minutes - not a problem ! The location is perfect , walking distance to the old town or the #8 tram to the rally grounds , a great budget choice if visiting Nuremberg.
GGedebaoThe hotel is between the Opera House and the train station, just across the street from the old city. It also has an underground parking lot, which is charged separately. If you want to go to the attractions, you can reach the Craftsman Square not far across the road. The ancient city of Nuremberg is not big either. Walking down is no problem. It is very convenient to calculate entry and exit by looking at the location. The hotel room facilities are neither new nor old. The room is quite big, the bed is quite comfortable, and the front desk is also very welcoming. However, I still encountered some minor problems here, such as blocked sewers. I asked someone to repair it but it was not fixed. Later, the front desk replaced it. After getting the room, this process made me feel that the hotel staff did not seem to be enough. I stayed for two nights and it went relatively smoothly afterwards.
Aabiwhisken1We only booked this hotel as we were away on business and attending Biofach at the exhibition centre nearby. Of course prices went through the roof as an exhibition was on, my company £364 for a basic twin room per night / for 3 nights - over £1000 in total! When I arrived, yes the room was clean but I was suprised at how basic it was for the price, plus the fact it looked nothing like the pictures on trip advisor. I also looked on booking.com to see there was rooms available for that night for less than half of what we paid. I went down to reception and asked if there was any other rooms available as I felt our room was very poor quality for the price, and we overpaid compared to the current price for available rooms. I’ve never seen someone at reception seem to offended at such a standard question. She asked me ‘what my point was’, and insisted there were no rooms available except those that hadn’t been renovated. Answering my question if an available better room was available seemed impossible and she said I should speak to the manager the next day. However there was a very helpful woman who checked me in. Before I even got round to speaking to a manager the next day we decided to go the gym. Of course the gym isn’t signposted anywhere in the hotel, why would a key facility be? I asked the woman at the desk (who was on her mobile phone) where it was and she pointed ahead of her and said the door on the left after the glass door. There were 3 doors, of course none said gym on and they all looked the same. I picked one and ended up in the stock room. I went back and asked her to confirm again but she just pointed again as it must have been too much effort to walk round from the desk and show me. Of course I eventually found it, no air con, music or lights but not suprised. When we first arrived the lady at reception recommended booking for the restaurant as it gets busy, we didn’t book that night and we were asked by the waiter if we had a reservation but luckily there was space. We decided the next day to request a booking to which the response was ‘you don’t need to book there’s lots of rooms’, to which I confirmed what the waiter had said and so she reluctantly wrote my room number down on a piece of paper. I never even complain, especially when away on business, but only 1 night in I felt I needed to The plus side is the food is good, and the location is 10 minutes from the exhibition, shame it was taken over from the Hilton and the customer service is beyond poor.
BBeryanThe B&B HOTEL Nürnberg-Hbf was a great choice for my stay in Nuremberg. Its prime location right next to the main train station made it incredibly convenient for arriving and departing, as well as exploring the city. With numerous tourist attractions within easy walking distance, I was able to effortlessly immerse myself in Nuremberg's rich history and culture. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. While I didn't have the opportunity to experience breakfast and the hotel's amenities, its unbeatable location alone made it a standout choice.
Mmunich_wandererIf anyone knows the Hotel B B chain, they know what to expect. Its a room with reasonably comfy beds, a bathroom with decent shower but beyond that theres not many bells and whistles. Checkin was quick and friendly, just needed to sign the form and then got the room code. We had a tripple on the top floor with 3 proper beds (no sofa bed for the extra bed) and couldnt believe how spacious it was. We didnt get breakfast (knew there'd be late nights and sleep-ins!!) there so cant comment on that. The location is on a main road around the city centre, a short walk from the station, literally right by a u bahn, and youre across from the city walls and beyond that the shopping corner of the old town. So, the location isnt magical but being on the ubahn to the airport and a walk from the station, and on the road network, makes it a very practical choice. (its also across the road from the german national railway museum- so you can visit that very easily!) One of the reasons we went for this hotel was the parking, but on our late arrival there was no spaces left. Luckily theres a massive car park a couple of 100 metres down the road which is only €6 per 24 hours at the weekend so it was barely an issue in the end that the hotel parking was full.
GGuest UserExcellent place to stay. Mainly because the staff are wonderful, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast plentiful, and dinner in the restaurant tasty and fresh! My only negative is the fact i had to take taxis to and from the messe and business dinners in the old town, which in the end was very costly. However i would definitely revisit.
This hostel has a lovely minimalistic feel but is so homely and comfortable as well. So perfect for a trip with friends and is only a two minute walk from the train station and the tram. The breakfast was so awesome and the bottomless fizzy drinks machine was great. It makes Nuremberg a better place!
