The biggest surprise was being able to do laundry, which is super practical for anyone on a longer road trip – it solved a major headache. Parking was also incredibly convenient; no need to hunt for a spot, you just park right downstairs, which is hassle-free and secure. The environment is really comfortable, clean, and tidy; the hygiene is impeccable, and the bedding feels fresh, making for a very pleasant stay. The owner is also incredibly warm and friendly, chatting with us like a friend and even proactively recommending great local spots. The whole experience was top-notch! One step through the door and the wife hugged me like a long-lost littermate. Tail wagging commenced immediately. 🐾 If warmth could melt Mohe’s cold, this household would be climate change. My downstairs room? Small. A little dim. Chosen for my sister’s convenience rather than my royal canine standards. But here’s the thing — when hospitality is this generous, the light comes from the people. I ate every meal at their café not out of laziness, but loyalty. Why brave the Arctic for repetitive food when home-style comfort is already waiting with a bowl and a smile? Youran lives up to its name: unforced, gentle, human. It felt less like a hotel and more like visiting relatives who keep refilling your bowl because you look “too thin.” This became the perfect launchpad for my Harbin expedition, three nights of settling in, warming up, and learning that charm travels better than luxury. Now, the honest bone (every good dog buries one): I’d give this a 4.1 stars if decimals existed. Since they don’t, here’s a conditional 5-star — contingent on tighter cleanliness under beds, chairs, and in the toilet. "Overall, this stay was excellent; the hotel's attention to detail was evident. The room was bright and clean, the bathroom's separate wet and dry areas were very practical, and the hot water supply was consistent. The staff were all very friendly and responsive to our needs. The hotel breakfast was varied and delicious, making for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended! The owner arranged transportation for us wherever we went, which was incredibly helpful! Finally, the owner's wife's Northeastern Chinese cuisine was especially delicious; the dishes were always gone as soon as they were served, and we didn't have to go out to find food—we could eat right at the hotel, which was very convenient."

There is no flexibility or accommodation. Check out at 1 o'clock. Even if the plane leaves two hours later, they will not allow late check-out. Late check-out costs extra money. You need to pay extra for mineral water. When you ask for cleaning for the extension room, they only change the bath towels. When asked why the bed is not made and the floor is not mopped, they just make it and mop it casually. I have to refute a few words, not to mention wiping the table top, repairing slippers and pulling paper. Overall, for the above advantages, I will stay in this hotel when I go to Mohe in the future because the hardware conditions are good."

"I only saw the aurora because I booked this hotel! When I looked up from the bridge leading to the hotel, everything around me was a bit bright. At first, I thought it was light pollution, but then I noticed several taxi drivers getting out to film it. It wasn't until many locals came over to look and take pictures that we realized it was the aurora. If I had stayed at a different hotel, I probably wouldn't have seen it. The room was large, and the bathroom was nice. The wooden decorations looked a bit old-fashioned in photos, but they weren't at all. There was also a cat and a dog. The owner didn't actively solicit good reviews; this is entirely a subjective assessment."

"The room was spacious and very clean. Since it's newly opened, all the facilities were new, including a smart toilet. The room faced the sun, with a small birch grove outside the window. There was a wooden boardwalk where you could stroll or sit and have tea. The boardwalk had outdoor tables and chairs, and hanging baskets. The breakfast selection was plentiful, especially the various mixed vegetables, which were quite delicious. If you're driving, there's a parking lot right outside, as well as a small vegetable garden with tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, and even mushrooms, a specialty of Northeast China. Overall, it was a very satisfying trip."

"Came here during the National Day holiday, and stayed right in the heart of the scenic area. No crowds, no traffic jams, just vibrant autumn foliage, bare white birch trunks standing tall and straight amidst the woods, and a lake as calm as a mirror, reflecting picturesque scenery. It's a view you truly need to see with your own eyes, one that brings peace to your heart. Staying here, the moment you open your eyes, the moment you step out, you're living in a painting, and that painting stays with you. Needless to say, the rooms were clean and hygienic. We booked different room types for our two-day stay, and each offered a unique view. The wide, floor-to-ceiling windows in the loft were absolutely stunning – I could have stared out of them for ages. The service was incredibly warm, and the amenities were comprehensive. The staff were enthusiastically helpful without being overbearing, the chartered driver was reliable, and the travel itinerary was thoughtfully planned. We even tried an electric-assist family bike for the first time. Plus, there were thoughtful souvenirs, exquisite and delicious breakfasts, unexpectedly tasty snacks, and a concert in the evening... Isn't this exactly what a vacation should be like?"

The dishes taste like home cooking – simple and delicious, not overly oily or salty like some restaurants. Oh, and the local beer is really good; definitely give it a try. The village itself is very neat, with straight, orderly streets, and it's very quiet. You can strike up a conversation with the villagers if you meet them! Finally, a word about the owner's family of three: their university-aged son is very handsome, the owner is a down-to-earth person who does the cooking, and the landlady is gentle, kind, and very welcoming. During dinner, they even brought us cucumbers from their own garden – a bit crooked, but green-hearted and very sweet! For breakfast, we had eggs, steamed buns, corn porridge, and pickled vegetables. After breakfast, as we were getting ready to leave, the owner and landlady stood at the door to bid farewell to each and every guest!"
