JW Marriott Auckland Reviews

I read the reviews before booking the room, and the ratings were not high, so I thought Marriott should be fine. I didn't expect something unpleasant to happen to me. The service at the front desk couldn't be worse. They did nothing but perfunctory service. The room was not cleaned until 21:30 at night. This hotel, from top to bottom, including the guests staying there, is mainly composed of Indians, who only look down on the Chinese. A golden key is nice, but unfortunately there are too few such waiters in this hotel.

The worst JW Marriott I've ever stayed in. I booked a room for three days, but the room card couldn't enter the elevator and the room on the second day, so I had to go to the front desk to make a new room card. The room was not cleaned in time, and the toilet seat was crooked and moving. The hotel breakfast was also average, and the front desk staff would chat with colleagues while checking you in (probably because of the working habits of foreigners), and the efficiency was extremely low. The hotel is very new and clean. The bathroom is big enough. The toilet and bathroom are separated, and the design is very convenient. It was my daughter's birthday, and the hotel prepared a birthday cake and a greeting card. My daughter was very surprised. We checked out early and the staff had prepared parking and arranged breakfast for us. They were all smiling. I must stay in this hotel every time I travel.

The hotel is in a very good location, right in the city center, and it is very convenient to go anywhere. DFS duty-free shop and CW are nearby, which is suitable for Citywalk. The hotel facilities are old. They are taken over from other hotels and are now gradually renovated. The sanitation is not cleaned carefully. There are garbage left by the previous guests behind the curtains. The toilet lid cannot be fixed and slides down automatically, which is very inconvenient to use. The equipment in the room is quite noisy at night. The service attitude is good and they are willing to actively solve any problems.

Hotel stay is great and comfortable. A five star hotel stay. Close proximity to the Harbourfront, commercial bay shopping district. Across the street is a convenience store for drinks n snacks to buy in the night.

The hotel service check-in is very fast, the staff is friendly, and there are Chinese staff. The breakfast is rich, with eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, vegetable salad, fruit, milk juice and coffee.
