I came to Hongcun on short notice so I booked a homestay when I arrived at the parking lot. This homestay is inside the scenic area. It takes less than two or three minutes to walk from the big tree at the entrance of the village. It is in a small alley so it is very quiet in a busy area. You can't hear the noise from the main street at night. The boss and his wife are very enthusiastic. When they heard that we were in the parking lot, they asked us to wait for the boss to pick us up (he also sent us to the parking lot when we returned). Thank you very much! The homestay is antique and the decoration is the style I like. The wooden loft, take off your shoes and walk up. Our home was like this when we were young. It is very nostalgic and friendly. I walked up and down several times. The cutest thing is the cat and dog butler. There are two cats and a dog. There is also a bird that says hello at the door. If you like cats and dogs, you must come. I have recommended the location to my friends circle.

We booked duplex loft suite room and it was very comfortable stay. One living room and two bed rooms with large bed. One special bonus was, we were able to access to the roof top of the building from stairs next of this room. There was seating area on the rooftop and morning view from there was super nice. We highly recommend staying here.

The location of the B&B is pretty good. You can get there in five or six minutes on the right hand side after entering the south gate. There are also several tourist photography tours around. However, I am a Hanfu party member and brought my own Qinghan women's clothing (manual hehe). I found this hotel to be a comprehensive one. The environment here is very good. It is close to Hongcun. You can see Hongcun and Tachuan surrounded by forests and mountains from the hotel room. It is about 2.5 kilometers away from Hongcun and even closer to Lucun. I walked to Lucun farmhouse for dinner and it tasted good. The air here is very fresh and the surrounding is beautiful rural scenery. It is recommended to rent a bicycle and ride around. I stayed in a two-story villa with a courtyard on the bottom floor and a balcony on the first floor. The room is also equipped with yoga mats and other sports and health equipment, which is great. You can park at the door. You can see the mountain from the balcony of the room. The scenery is very good. The afternoon tea in the lobby bar has a great view. There is also a free sunset afternoon tea in the evening. The breakfast is very rich, especially the pancakes and steamed dumplings, which are delicious. The hotel service is very good. The housekeeper contacted me one day in advance, arranged a room for me, informed me of the precautions for check-in, and my requirements. I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, and the arrangement was complete. Two room attendants, whose work numbers are in the photos, were on call when I needed them. It is not a B&B but a hotel. The boss is handsome and enthusiastic. There is a Lanzhou Ramen next door, which is super delicious. There is a lot of mixed beef in the small portion, and the cold shredded potatoes are delicious. Ramen, stir-fried and shaved are delicious.

As an authentic Huizhou native who left home when I was young, I came to Hongcun and met Zhang Gongguan for the first time, but I was amazed by the whole ink painting Qingming. After walking through the streets and alleys, I finally found the low-key house number. I opened a small door and opened a paradise. The antique Ming and Qing Dynasty old houses, restored in the Hui-style style, and simple and elegant furniture make people feel like they have traveled through time and space and returned to the prosperous ancient Huizhou of the past. In the front hall and back yard, the centuries-old mottled walls are paired with the black and white colors of Qingming rain, but it also has a sense of vicissitudes like ”in the old days, when kings went to the hall and swallows flew into the homes of ordinary people”, it was as if they were in a Chinese ink painting. This is an old house with a history of 300 years. It is located in the core scenic area of ​​Hongcun. It only takes 3 minutes to walk to Moon Marsh. There are many types of guest rooms with different styles. Almost all of them feature Chinese retro style. The carved wooden beds, wooden couches and dressing tables are all antique designs. The calligraphy, paintings and porcelain in the room highlight the famous Hui school. The door is an antique wooden door latch. key. The facilities in the bathroom are absolutely high-end. Dyson hair dryers and Hermès bath products are both rich in history and considerate. The owner lives with his guests and has four cats, several courtyards, and a beautiful swimming pool. The guests can drink tea and relax while leaning on the garden view. The butler's service was extremely attentive. He asked about the soundproofing at night, prepared a heart-warming breakfast in the morning, took our luggage all the way from the parking lot to the CI, dragged our luggage up the narrow stairs of the old house, and used a small electric donkey to carry our luggage again before we left. Return to the parking lot. I want to say here that the wooden stairs in the old Hui-style houses are narrow and shaky, and the sound insulation between the rooms is not very good. If you come to immerse yourself in the old house life, don’t complain and pay more attention to yourself. In short, this place really made my impression of Hongcun become more beautiful and full of nostalgia. It is undoubtedly the best private hotel in the village, and it feels like a dream that I will never wake up from.

The first choice for families with young babies! It is especially convenient to live directly in Hongcun. The boss does not have to worry about the luggage. The boss’s cooking is delicious and you can order it in advance~ The decoration of the whole homestay is very beautiful, and you can stay here for a few days. The children watched cats and dogs in Hongcun to accompany me to the coffee shop. There is also Lu Village not far away. I watched the ducks for another afternoon, close to nature and breathe fresh air.
