The hotel was very nice and clean. The room was spacious and overall it's a great value for your money. The location is very good - really close to the city center. The only inconvenience was the noise from the vehicles passing by the nearby street.

A magical and unforgettable place.
Stroll through old streets and stone buildings.
I highly recommend Caldea. Europe's largest spa for extreme relaxation.

Busy road outside but overall a lovely hotel. English was not always understood. Joan, the waiter - he may be the manager (?) was just lovely. Spotless with great food. The roof garden was nice but not enough shade. The pool and jacuzzi looked great. I don't feel that the room should be serviced every day nor necessary to have daily clean towels. Excellent lifts. WiFi is very good. We went on a Shearings coach holiday

I stayed as part of a Shearings holiday. The room was good in my opinion. The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious with a fridge, desk, table and 2 chairs. The real downside , for me, was not having any drink making facilities. The dinner was most unsatisfactory. The "hot" meals were not hot and, so I'm told by other guests, the meat was overcooked. I opted for salad every night to make sure I had something edible. If, like me, you like mayo or salad ream you'll need to buy some while you're there! Hot drinks are not served with dinner so it's necessary to go to the bar afterwards to buy some. I'm guessing that is because there are not enough staff to serve coffee etc in the dining room. However, breakfast was good. The reception staff were helpful and friendly . The hotel is convenient for the town. I've only scored the hotel as average on account of the food. Otherwise it would have been good.

I stayed at Hotel Alegria Andorra for 3 nights (€360, room only) and had a terrible experience. Despite claiming to be 4-star, the hotel failed in basic cleanliness, amenities and service. Filthy and unsafe room – The bathroom ceiling was severely damaged, with water stains, moss, holes, and debris falling into the toilet. Completely unhygienic and unacceptable. No basic amenities – No shampoo provided (only two bath soaps), which should be standard. Unusable Wi-Fi – The internet was not working, making it impossible to connect. Noisy and poorly managed – I was put on the same floor as a group of school children who shouted and ran around all evening, with no staff intervention. Non-functional room phone – I couldn’t call reception to report issues and had to go downstairs every time. Unhelpful and dismissive customer service – I reported all issues at reception but was met with denial and excuses. Management refused to acknowledge the photo evidence I sent of the horrible room conditions. I would never stay here again and do not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean and professional stay. Avoid at all costs. Getting in touch with customer service only gives you even more anger on how they dismissed your comments

Very strange happening in this hotel, a coach full arrived recently a week ago. On the 17th September several guests went for evening meal at this hotel, the evening meal was included in the price so no need for taking money, NO CARDS OR ELECTRONICS JUST MONEY BOTH EURO AND ENGLISH several guests were robbed , we reported it to police, spent afternoon there, hotel manager staff and manager refused to believe our rooms were robbed and entered by a master key card. We were refused copies of key card access reports. other guests reported going back to their room and lights were on, things moved. reception isn't manned and it leads to a busy straight, their is no security in this hotel and no cameras in any of the floors leading to rooms. cleaners would be caught cleaning room door handles when everyone was going for evening meals or in corridors cleaned radiator covers. DO NOT STAY. STAFF ARE THEIVES OR ITS AN OPERATION RAN BY HOTEL.

I stayed in this hotel as part of a tour to Andorra, in total there were about 50 people staying here. The hotel is rated as 4 star - which it may be by US standards, but not by European - it is three star. Positives: the hotel is conveniently situated in the capital of Andorra; the hotel entrance is spacious and very clean; my room had a balcony and the bed was larger than king size; the food in the restaurant was a buffet style for breakfast and dinner - and was plentiful; a bottle of red wine was on every table for dinner. Certainly for my holiday, there was a 'free' drinks approach in the bar (wine, gin, vodka to name just a few). The room was cleaned daily - and there was a lovely smell of cedar and sandalwood in the hotel. I also liked having the balcony - because I prefer to always have a window open throughout the night, and many hotels either don't have windows that may be opened or you have to use the air conditioning (which this hotel probably has but I didn't need to use it). Negatives: the hotel knew that the coach of 50 people would be arriving - but there was no help with the luggage; it states very clearly that the sheets on the bed would be changed after two days - that did not happen. There was a refrigerator in the room with a list of drinks (and possibly prices) on the door of the refrigerator - but it was empty; there were no coffee making facilities in the room. The shower sometimes went from hot to cold back to hot - presumably when another room was either switching on their own showers or switching them off. The food in the restaurant was plentiful - at times it was quite cold (such as the cauliflower) - and it may have been useful to label some of the food - the soup looked for three days - but apparently it was different (one day it was vegetable and another day fish). The restaurant could easily seat 100 people, yet there was only one coffee machine which was a very, very slow one - even though the amount of coffee in each cup was no more than about 100ml. Overall, I was happy with my stay - I know that on the last morning, the restaurant opened almost 25 minutes late - apparently the 'chef' had overslept - which I did not accept (even if that were true, there was no reason why the hotel guests could not have entered the restaurant to have the cold food eg cheeses, meats, bread, cereals. Indeed when it did open, the staff were still putting out some of the cold foods. Due to the late opening, our departure from Andorra was delayed by some time (I appreciate that at least 20 minutes of this was simply due to the passengers deliberately taking their time and not caring that they were causing a delay - whilst at the same time critising the hotel).
Response from Property: Dear Ms Guildford, We are very pleased that your experience with us has been positive and that you have enjoyed our facilities. As we told you when you were staying at the hotel, our breakfasts have two coffee machines and not one as you mention. Regarding the porter service, it was not contracted by your travel agency. However, we are pleased to know that your stay met your expectations. We apologize once again for the delay on the last day with breakfast. We hope to see you again on a next trip. Team Hotel President by Alegría.

Went with shearings group .Paid a supplement got a room with no view except a wall about 6ft away with air-coolers on the wall.Very dark had to have light on in the day and night.Food wasn't anything special for a so called 4 star.Only good thing was the roof terrace.
