Possibly the cleanest hotel I have ever been in! Wonderful service, great buffet breakfast and the rooms were spacious. Great shower, comfy bed and chromecast available on the tv. Heaps of options for public transport into the city centre being across the road from the bus and tram station. Highly recommend for friend travel and also for families,

I had a one night stay at this property and it was a mix bag.  Some highlights  - staff in general were friendly  - accessibility to the hotel is good - via public transportation and if you have your own car, there is street parking available and in the shopping centre.  Parking in the hotel's garage is on the expensive side of 17.50€ per night - rooms were spacious and clean - water pressure and temperature was good Some improvement points - bathroom size was on the small side, also found that the location of the towel cabinet in the bathroom to be quite dangerous/harzadous as it's placed within a small space area opposite the toilet bowl which if not careful you can potentially hit your head while getting up at the corner of the cabinet - zero recognition or care as a HHonors elite.  This has to be one of the first property in Germany or anywhere that matters, not offered any complimentary bottle of water in the room.  When I went to request for this after check-in at the reception, they initially was happy to bring me one, but later informed that I had to pay for it as I had the points as the option.  I find this pretty sad as it does not even cost €1 for a bottle. - again like a lot of other properties, no minibar in the room and the temperature control in the room was not the best when wanting to cool down the room. The only reason I would return to this property is because of the location, but if I had a car, I would most probably stay back at the Hilton Garden Inn Neckkerpark property which I had much better experience. 

Its close to the station but couldnt hear trains or traffic so that was ok. So its a good location. But thats all there is. The hotel is dirty, small rooms and the cleaning people start cleaning early. So if you still sleeping you gonna wake up hearing the vacum cleaner....plus its way too expensive for what you get...i wouldnt stay there again

I had a great stay at a&O Hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering all the basics for a pleasant stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, always available to assist. The location was convenient, close to public transport and local attractions. The common areas were well-maintained, and the breakfast had a good variety. Overall, it’s a good choice for budget-friendly accommodations without compromising on comfort. I’d definitely stay here again!

We were so glad to see this fully renovated hotel open in time for our visit to the Heidelberg Christmas Market (original opening date was projected for the end of December). The Hilton Heidelberg is an incredible facility, surpassed only by the amazing team working to provide the best possible experience! We have never been so graciously welcomed by so many on the team, including the General Manager, Remmie. Margarita and Katerina took great care of us during check in and were even able to upgrade us to a Junior Suite - what a welcome surprise! After settling in to our room, we had the pleasure of meeting Lubeth in the Executive Lounge who took care of every need and made us feel so welcome - always with a smile! The management team is definitely committed to hiring the best, but they are also clearly committed to leading by example. Vladimir (the restaurant manager) made a point of introducing himself and checking to be sure we were enjoying our stay and Sonja was so gracious when we were visiting the restaurant. Brent stopped by while we were in the Executive Lounge to be sure we were enjoying our visit and asked if there was anything he could do to help. Tim (a Heidelberg local) took time to share some of his favorite spots around town, as well as the hotel amenities and make sure we made the most of our time in town! I cannot remember another hotel stay where I could name more than 1-2 people on the staff - this team truly made us feel welcomed and valued! Thank you for a such a great experience!

Close Proximity to Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (train station, just approximately 8 minutes walk). I am amazed at the complete furniture, even microwaves to cook our breakfast for the following day. More like an apartment than just a hotel. Nice stay

I travel a lot and usually dont care about the exterior of the Hotels but the inside and staff is important. Worker at the desk was very polite and skilled when i checked in. When i entered the room... abt 300 Euro a night! To say its old to say nothing - like in the old good USSR times in Moscow, Sankt Petersburg, DDR side of Berlin! 40 years ago, what a nostalgic feeling, smell of old carpet, never cleaned AC. Had to open window to get fresh air insine. Paint art on the wall by Natalie Goller - Innenraum Rußland. Was für ein Zufall! For 300 Euro a night! First evening at the Restaurant i choose Wiener Schnitzel with salad and French fries 🍟. My first Wiener Schnitzel ever and never ever if this piece of smashed to 3 mm dry pork was the real Wiener Schnitzel then sorry... Only good thing was the salad. At the hotel restaurant For 300 Euro a night! Breakfast was outstanding, nothing special at the hotel restaurant For 300 Euro a night! Asked in the morning if they do laundry the answer was - no, but whae i asked again at the desk in an hotel for 300 Euro a night the lady called someone and repeated what he heard on the other side of the line - laundry is the responsibility of the guests. Means do your self At the hotel For 300 Euro a night! Finally me and the lady on the desk figured out that the hotel does outsource the laundry to a third party company. Duration - few days, At the hotel For 300 Euro a night! Complimentary water only upon arrival, At the hotel For 300 Euro a night! Kettle, tea in room? Deam on! At the hotel For 300 Euro a night! What doesn't kills us makes us laughing 😆 At the hotel For 300 Euro a night!

Erst nach 2 maliger Aufforderung an die angeführte E-Mail Adresse. Angekommen im Hotel wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es kein warmes Wasser gibt aufgrund diverser Probleme. Das Schwesternhotel wurde uns angeboten, jedoch waren wir schon den ganzen Tag unterwegs und erschöpft und wollten einfach nur auf unser Zimmer. Das Schwesternhotel wäre ca. 30 Minuten weiter entfernt gewesen. Habe dann das Wasser getestet, es war kalt/lauwarm. Zum schnell abduschen für uns ok, allerdings nicht für den vollen Preis. Die Rezeptionistin bot an 1 Frühstück gratis, ich stimmte nicht zu und wollte den Chef sprechen. Der wäre nicht da und auch nicht verfügbar. Ich hätte sonst bis 18:00 Zeit dann verfällt die Reservierung oder ich soll mir halt ein anderes Hotel suchen!!! Wahnsinn das ganze und sowas von unfreundlich! Dann ging sie mit dem handy für einige Minuten weg. Nach langem hier und her einigten wir uns auf minus 50% auf die 2. Nacht. War ok für mich. Dann ging die Diskussion aber weiter. Die Rezeptionistin hatte keinerlei Informationen über meine Buchung bzw Preis für 2 Nächte und wollte mir dann einen höheren Preis das Frühstück nochmal extra dazu rechnen!!! Irre war das und einfach nur eine Frechhheit!!! Zeigte ihr dann meine Bestätigung der Buchung für 2 Nächte inkl. Frühstück. Aber rechnen konnte sie trotzdem nicht! Das Frühstück war ok, mehr nicht. Brot teilweise vom Vortag, Joghurt mit eingetrockneten Rändern! Sonst kaum Auswahl und sehr überschaubar. KEIN Safe im Zimmer!!! Auch darauf hatte die Rezeptionistin keine Antwort! Zimmer war sehr spartanisch eingerichtet. Bad mit Dusche und vertrecktem Duschvorhang! Alles in Allem: furchtbarer Aufenthalt! Dringend davon abgeraten!!!

We stayed at this hotel for one night during our 5 days 4 nights trip to the Alsace areas. This was our first stop. The hotel located in a quiet area but within walking distance to the super market, many restaurants, bakeries, etc. However a car is needed to reach the city center. The room is simple but modern, clean, roomy with nice seating area and A/C. The complimentary breakfast was average but it is a nice bonus though. The staff was friendly and helpful. Because of the reasonable price, the complimentary breakfast and the services, I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Sehr schönes und sauberes Hotel. Wir übernachten mehrmals im Jahr dort wenn man zu früh fliegt. Sehr nettes Personal. Die Zimmer sind sehr ruhig und auch gemütlich eingerichtet. An der Rezeption kann man Snacks und Getränke am Automaten holen.

We didn’t have a good first impression as the room wasn’t cleaned when we entered after getting the key from the check-in desk. We were asked to wait while they cleaned it, but since it was already late (6 PM), we requested a room change. Aside from the initial issue, everything else was just okay.

when we arrived, hardly any reception staff on duty. When we saw our room, we were shocked, it was small and gloomy with a display case (bizarrely) showing snacks! The light to the display case is joined to the room lighting so can be switched off separately. Reception advised nothing could be done, so we said we would leave and I contacted a hotel we had stayed at the start of our holiday, the stay in the Steigenberger was our last night in Germany. Reception then said we could be upgraded, by this time it was late and very heavy rain. The upgrade room seemed OK but when we used the TV, it kept switching itself off! Breakfast was abysmal, a dreary pub overlooking the entrance to an underpass. Initially, we didn't know where the food was and no staff around to direct us. When we found the food, it had clearly been sitting out for some time, there was a huge quantity of food considering only one person was there when we arrived and only 2 others came as we were leaving. We stayed in this hotel some years ago when the breakfast room was upstairs and there were lots of guests and staff who were interested in providing good service. It was disapoointing to see how lacklustre the hotel has become and difficult understand how it has kept its star rating, the hotel is not to the usual Steigenberger standard.

We enjoyed our stay! There is a small selection of vegan options available at breakfast, which is great :)

Lovely hotel to look at both outside and in. However there is nowhere to stop in front of the hotel to drop bags and check in. The hotel does have a parking arrangement with private parking building at the back but you can't park there until you check in. I dropped my wife then drove around until I found a park on the street, not easy as it is a busy part of town. In our case they had used up their allocation of carparks so our options were other public carparks, the first one was full the hotel then directed us to another, it was close but still resulted in a short walk back to the hotel in the rain, not ideal. Desk clerk was apologetic but that doesn't change the fact that this is not a good hotel to arrive at in a car. The rooms are designer, but so designer that there is no practical solution to open a bag on other than the floor, which is ok if travelling light but no good if you have bags bigger than a carryon. So, a great hotel if you don't arrive by car and have small luggage, if that's not the case then be prepared for a frustrating arrival and settle in.

The hotel has had some recent renovations but unfortunately they used direct stick carpet which made the floor very hard. It's fairly close to everything, local train will take you into the town center, approximately 15 minutes. The room was a reasonable size and the bed comfortable. Bathroom was OK but the shower was small. It was unusual to find that the bar and restaurant were both closed . However, close by there is a supermarket where you can buy just about anything. There are also many local restaurants withing walking distance. The gentleman on the afternoon shift was extremely helpful with directions and suggestions. Another positive note, is that the hotel is walking distance to the Porsche Museum, which is a must see.

The hotel's location is very central. According to it, perhaps a little too central, because at a later hour the street before the hotel is camped by the party people and other groups. That can be so, but our children made it more afraid. We booked and booked a parking place. Then the feedback came, I have to book the parking place again extra via a separate email address. Ok, I did and did not receive a feedback. When I stood in front of the parking house, I was called through the telephone that everything was full and they had no reservation for us. The hotel was then explained in very holp German that if they were not to sign up, there would be no place in the parking house. I then renounced the discussion with the staff about the logic of this approach, because I had the feeling that half of what I say is simply uninterpreted. In the invitation is spoken of a modern hotel. In fact, it is an old building that was probably equipped in the 1970s and has not been renovated since. The beds were uncomfortable and in some way everything was very out of time. It smells very old and the cleanliness was also moderate. As you can think it was also extremely ringhound. It heard the noise from outside very well as the enchanted guests who came home far after midnight. The hotel was deliberately booked because we were only one night there, but never again. It must be paid at check-in and check-out no silver wasted whether we were satisfied or not. Who doesn't go with time goes with time...

We had preciously stayed at the Aloft in Munich, and were impressed enough to choose the Aloft chain again for a recent short visit to Stuttgart. We were not disappointed. The hotel is conveniently located a few steps from the UBahn (one stop from the Hauptbahnhof and a couple of stops away from the main centre) and is part of a new shopping complex with a range of stores and eating outlets. Facilities are modern, clean and well appointed, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. We were especially impressed with the helpfulness of the reception staff, all of whom went out of their way to look after our needs. One of our party was without vital medication, and hotel reception took the trouble both to identify the best local medical centre to obtain a prescription and to give detailed directions for finding it. We would certainly stay here again for future visits to the city.

Vrij groot van de bekende keten Mariott gelegen aan de oevers van de Neckar in deelgemeente Bergheim dat we voor 1 nacht geboekt hadden. Wij hebben vandaar de wandeling gedaan naar de Mittlerbrücke en terug en ik moet zeggen dat is wel meer dan 10.000 stappen, m.a.w. toch een stevige wandeling. De kamers zijn zeer ruim en van alle comfort voorzien. Er is ook een (zeer koud) zwembad, sauna en fitnesszaal. Het ontbijt, bij goed weer, kan je buiten nemen aan de Neckar, een echte meerwaarde. Het restaurant van het hotel maakt gebruik van hetzelfde terras. Parking is ondergronds en zeer ruim maar niet goedkoop. Mariott verstrekte de service die je er mag verwachten. Het werd een luxueuze start van onze city trip aan Heidelberg.

Das Hotel ist sehr abgewohnt und dreckig. Die Teppichböden sind verfleckt und stark verschmutzt. Der Zimmerservice ist total überfordert, sprciht kein Deutsch und muss seine Kinder zur Arbeit mitbringen, da wohl keine andere Betreuung möglich ist. Wir waren drei Nächte dort und hatten an keinem Tag einen Zimmerservice, außer am letzten Tag zwei Stunden bevor wir das Zimmer geräumt haben. Die Mitarbeiter sind überwiegend sehr unfreundlich und raunzig, wenn man Fragen stellt und nicht gleich alle Dinge z.B. beim Frühstück findet oder die Funktion aller Macshinen gleich versteht. Wir hatten Probleme am späten Abend mit dem Code die Eingangstür zu öffenen. Nachdem nicht nur wir, sondern auch drei weitere Familien keinen Zugang hinbekamen, haben wir die ausgehängte Notfallnummer gewählt, um dann sofort angeraunzt zu werden, dass wir ja wohl zu blöd seien und unsere Kinder nicht an die Technik lassen dürften. Problem war, dass wir wohl nicht alle Tasten mit dem gelichen Druck ausgewählt hatten und das System dann erstmnal eine Weile Pause macht und dies durch ein kleines rotes Licht anzeigt, was wir wohl nicht gesehen bzw. verstanden haben. Das Frühstück ist für den Preis von € 10,50 grenzwertig. Die Behauptung, dass hier 90% Bioware angeboten wird ist vermessen bzw. in keinen Weise erkennbar und nachvollziehbar. Das Hotel ist eigentlich nur eine bessere Jugendherberge und absolut unpersönlich, uninteressiert und ignorant. Aber vielleicht muss das so sein, um die aufgerufenen Preis ehalten zu können.

The whole hotel is kept at 22 degrees C during winter. The rooms are even hotter at about 24C. This is T-shirt temperature. We didn’t pack any tshirts for our Germany winter vacation. The rooms a/c unit wasn’t working so got moved to another room that’s a/c also wasn’t working. Got moved to a third room that’s a/c was working but only to discover that it only blows hot air. I opened the windows to cool the room down but didn’t feel comfortable sleeping with the windows wide open all night (there are ledges connecting all the rooms on the outside and one can step out of the windows easily) so had to sleep with the windows on their cracked open setting which meant the room heated back up naturally to the hotels temp of about 24 C. Optimally sleeping temp is 68C. Hotel needs to keep the whole hotel cooler to make it comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Large selection but not worth the money because the quality isn’t great on a few of the items. Dried out pastries. Weird texture over cooked scrambled eggs. If you don’t get your room cleaned they offer a drink at the bar but in reality they just mean a coke or tea or coffee. The rooms are beautiful, well sized and quiet. The lobby is stylish. I wouldn’t stay again.

First of all during this critical moments in the world due to the COVID 19 safety it’s out of great importance! This hotel has it, all personal where wearing masks and everyone is responsible. Very professional and friendly hotel personnel, I had a shower head problem and Hotel tech arrived in a min, replace it in the blink of an eye. I felt welcome safe and take good care of. With this review I would like to thank all the hotel stuff for doing such a great job and hope to see you again on my next booking.

We traveled by train so this hotel was perfect, very short walk from the main station, maybe 150 feet. We did not know check in was 3:00 so paid 15€ to check in early taking a lesser room for the same price. IBIS allows early check in / late checkout for a 90€ annual fee. Breakfast was basic so we skipped that. Unfortunately McDonalds next door closed about 4 months earlier. As for lunch, the Thai restaurant (Asia Box) in the main station was very good and there is a grocery store in the station too. Our room on the 1st floor was small but clean with 2 beds. The bathroom was very small but this is the only room we saw. Street noise was minimal. Train, tram and bus lines converge here so you cant beat the location. I suspect they have parking for a fee but because we arrived by train, I am not sure.

Hotel is clean and well situated near the train station. The call price on site or on booking system is not the price you will finally pay, because you will have a lot of extras … parking 25, city view in the restaurant5, breakfast 28 … I think overpriced…but nevertheless generally correct.

Fairly mixed feelings about our stay in the hotel. Upon arrival after a long journey I was surprised to learn that our 3 night stay and breakfast and parking must be paid in full (despite my credit card details being shared upon booking). That didn’t feel particularly welcoming. The hotel is in a good location for the old town. That said each nights sleep was heavily disrupted by the noise outside from traffic and people shouting etc. The breakfast is extremely average. Those looking for a hot breakfast will be disappointed to be faced with scrambled egg, boiled carrots (!), poultry sausages. No bacon, beans, fried tomatoes, mushrooms, hash browns etc. The bread rolls are cheap pre-baked. The fitness room is a tiny room not worth venturing to. Free weights up to 10kg! Room the size of an old fashioned airing cupboard. The staff at the hotel are friendly and nice. Heidelberg is beautiful. We had a lovely time. But I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again. There are much nicer hotels in Heidelberg..!

Our booking through ********** wasn't received by the hotel but the hotel was very helpful and we received some separated rooms instead. The service was excellent and the hotel is very nice with a great atmosphere. I would definitely stay there again. The breakfast can be ordered with gluten-free options but you just have to ask for it. The rooms are clean with AC and a small kitchen for smaller meals. The area around the hotel is nice enough with restaurants and shopping basically right out the door. There are aom construction nearby but no bigger issues there. Parking was full so we had to find some in the streets nearby which was free.

Ottimo hotel per una o due notti al max. Stanze molto belle,tv mancano le reti Italiane,e sprovviste di armadi. Solo per un mordi e fuggi. Ristorante buono,il servizio è sel service,per il bere se vuoi alcolici ti devi servire da solo alla reception. Ottimo per due gg.

My experience at this hotel was exceptional. The room was impressively spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment throughout my stay. The front desk staff were polite and welcoming during check-in, setting a positive tone from the moment I arrived. The buffet breakfast offered a wide array of delicious choices, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this hotel and would highly recommend it to others seeking a top-notch hospitality experience.

We were on the transit and only arrived at 22.30 in this hotel. The reception was no longer occupied. We could check in the hall digitally, the family room for 4 people I had booked in advance. The room was simple but good. The stacking beds were good, only when we were going to bed for a while we were scared. This mattress was the end of life. Thick gap in the middle, feathers you felt, gaps in the mattress, in short very bad! Even though the B&B is a budget hotel, a somewhat good mattress you can expect. Reception was no longer occupied, so we could do little at 23.00 hour. I immediately sent a mail to the hotel and filed an official complaint and asked for compensation, so you don't let your customers stay. We put some towels on the math and tried to sleep. The next morning she spoke to the receptionist, and told her that she had read the mail and sent it to the hotel manager, she offered her excuse but she couldn't mean anything more to us, it should be through the hotel manager. We are now close to 5 days away and we haven't heard anything about the B&B hotel Freiburg Nord.

We stayed at B&B Hotel Freiburg-Süd for one night on our way through the Black Forest. We had a prior reservation, and the check-in process was very smooth and hassle-free. The room was quite small, as was the bathroom, typical of a B&B. It had a small TV mounted in front of the bed. There was a window facing the tram terminal; the movement was constant but not bothersome. The hotel offers free parking with plenty of available space, which is very convenient if you have a car. The hotel is located somewhat away from the city center, but one of the trams that stops near the hotel can take you to Münsterplatz (Cathedral Square) in about 25 minutes. The only way to reach it is by public transportation; it is not feasible to walk (it's more than 5 kilometers). Although it is a ”bed and breakfast,” the rate does not include breakfast. However, they offer it for an additional fee. If you don't mind the distance to the city and the size of the room, it is a budget-friendly option in Freiburg.

Usually, we use Airbnb and avoid traditional hotels and this is the perfect example why. We had to book one day in advance on short notice and the price was roughly 150 euro excluding parking, breakfast or air conditioning. Parking cannot be reserved, but is first come, first serve. Apparently good for those who check in prior to 6pm, bad for us. The hotel could use some modernization, the style is quite old, outdated decoration and presentation. The staff at the reception was quite nice. We threw our stuff in the room and went out for dinner. We came back around 11pm and just wanted to sleep. Lucky us, the fan did not work properly but did horrible noises. And we found hairs on our bed. We complained the next morning during check out. By the way the two other guests checking out complained about different stuff as well. For us, no sorry from the staff, only a complaint that we did not complain immediately - yeah, at 11 pm and we were able to remove the hairs ourselves. Thanks, also for saying sorry. Overall, not worth the value and for sure they will never see us again.

Very good location near Münster and Old Town. Modern rooms with good bed, bathroom with rain shower, air conditioning. Unfortunately, the cost brake of management is clearly at the expense of the guests: 1. The aircone operating overnight is down at night - so exactly when you need it! The reception is clearly known and is noticed without regret with a axle cushion. 2. In a house that requires almost € 200/Nacht parking, an adequate quality breakfast with some ”extra” should be compulsory. This is where breakfast is well organized at first sight, although it is well organized, But unfortunately 3* is standard. The hot dishes (e.g. rhein, spice, sauce, pancakes etc.) are quality simple and already cold at 8:30. As well, selection and quality of sauce, cheese and fruit are simple. The quite ordinary coffee is taken out of the machine.

Beautiful hotel with everything needed for a short trip. Coffee and tea were available free. Unfortunately, the lady was unfriendly at the weekend and made it difficult for us to check in. We would prefer to cancel the accommodation immediately, which was not possible. All other staff were premature and helpful, and we have still enjoyed the stay.
