Yubeng Snow Mountain Vow Luxury Tent Hotel

I give a thumbs up to the housekeeper Jaylen for the nanny-like service throughout the trip. He was waiting for us when we got off the bus, and he took care of all the big and small bags. There were fruits when we arrived, and each table was equipped with a dozen dry tissues and a pack of wet tissues. This kind of detail is really thoughtful. I have traveled to many places in the country, and it is rare to see such attentive homestay services. The room feels like being in Switzerland, surrounded by snow-capped mountains on three sides, with excellent views and very clean. Eating facing the sunset Jinshan is a feeling I have never had before. The inn also makes matsutake stewed chicken, and the ingredients are definitely from the mountains, and the taste is definitely authentic free-range chicken. When I came back to eat the chicken soup in Lijiang, it had no taste at all, and it was not comparable at all. I highly recommend this place, which not only meets the needs of taking photos and checking in, but also satisfies the taste buds. I will come again in the future.
Deqin Xiangyue Yubeng Inn

Insufficient staff and lack of service. When ordering food, they said they would only have to wait for half an hour. In the end, they waited for more than 2 hours. The boss is still very enthusiastic, answering every question. There is no air conditioning in the room, but there are electric blankets. If the room is on the first floor, the viewing experience is a bit different from the pictures.

Meili is right outside the room, and there is an observation deck on the fourth floor, which is very nice! The hotel service is also very good. In the evening, a cup of hot milk was specially sent, which was very fragrant. I recommend everyone to stay here (I was very happy to take pictures of the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain)
Deqinjugu Shiqian oxygen supply smart hotel

New hotel with smart amenities, room is spacious, can see Baima mountain from outside the room. There’s an oxygen concentrator that helps with high altitude sickness. They also served sweet soup for supper and helped with the luggage because there isn’t a lift. The walk to the viewing platform is about 10minutes, which is not too far. We managed to catch the spectacular view of Meili during sunrise.

This is, by far, one of the cleanest, well kept places in Upper Yubeng village. The room I stayed in was very spacious, immaculately clean, and had a lovely view of the mountains to the side picture window. At night I slept with the window open to feel the cool mountain breeze, and it was lovely to be awakened by the sound of mules baying rather than the honking of cars in the big city! It is clear that the owners of this inn, two young brothers, have a vision for this place that is quite different than the other inns around. From the quality of the towels and the bedding, to the Zen open concept communal area downstairs, there is more of a Western feel to this hotel than others I have stayed in in the area. While the upper floors contain the private rooms, the bottom floor is more like a hostel with rooms that contain 4 to 5 beds. There is a pool table right outside those rooms so you can entertain yourselves in the evening after hiking. Another great thing about the end is the two brand new big load washing machines where, for only 10 RMB, they provide soap and you can wash and hang your sweaty clothes after a day on the mountain. The shared sinks, toilets, and showers, for the hostelers are equally as immaculate as the private rooms upstairs. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a hostel as clean as this one! The kitchen also serves up good food and there’s plenty of cold beer and other drinks in the fridge in the reception. One thing I forgot to mention, is that on the upper floors there are small areas where you can sit in a swing chair or at a table and read a book or drink tea. Also, though I didn’t ask for it myself, I saw other guests at the end of the day soaking their feet in traditional wooden barrels provided by the hotel. Both of the brothers were lovely and highly accommodating. I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to others traveling in the Yubeng area!
