⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Wonderful 3D2N Stay at Hua Hin Grand Plaza Hotel
We had a fantastic 3-day, 2-night stay at Hua Hin Grand Plaza Hotel! From the warm welcome at check-in to the moment we left, everything was smooth and enjoyable.
Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was cozy, the air conditioning was excellent, and the daily housekeeping kept everything spotless. It truly felt like a home away from home.
One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. It was very good—with a nice variety of options to choose from, including both Thai and Western dishes. Everything was fresh, tasty, and satisfying. It gave us a great start to our days exploring Hua Hin.
The location of the hotel is also a big plus. It’s conveniently close to night markets, restaurants, and the beach—all within walking distance. The pool was also a great place to unwind after a day out.
Overall, we had a really pleasant experience and would happily stay here again. Great value, excellent service, and a delicious breakfast—highly recommended for anyone visiting Hua Hin!
I stayed here for two nights and found it to be an excellent value, especially for long-term stays. The room is spacious and designed more like a serviced apartment, with ample storage for clothes and personal items. It was clean and well-maintained, with a very comfortable bed and pillows that were just the right size and softness.
The hotel features a large swimming pool, and the reception and staff were consistently friendly and polite. The internet is fast and reliable. However, the working desk is quite short—even my 13-inch laptop barely fits comfortably.
Although there is no beach view, the overall quality and price make this place a great bargain. I did not try the breakfast, so I cannot comment on the food.

We were so happy with our stay at this place! Such a hidden gems.
10/10 for staff and their services. Everyone was welcoming us as we could feel.
10/10 for the room and cleanliness.
100/10 for breakfast.
10/10 for the restaurant which you can see a nice view of the sea.
Will recommend this place to our friends and we will stay here again for sure.
Thank you for your services and for looking after me and my mother so well.
Things I thought were good:
1) Breakfast: Good price and good variety.
2) Staff friendliness: Very good. Always smiling and saying hello.
3) Location: Although not beachfront, the hotel provides a golf cart shuttle service to the beach.
4) Room: Spacious and soft king-size bed. Clean and comfortable room. Air conditioning was very cold.
Things that need improvement:
1) There are no lifeguards at the pools. Due to the large number of small children, I didn't see any lifeguards to watch over them. Parents should keep an eye on them at all times.
2) Parking: Few spaces available. If you look for a spot at night, there probably won't be any available. I rented three rooms and we came in two cars, but at night I had to park on the street because there weren't enough spaces.
3) Bathroom stall. Even when closed, water leaks into the bathroom.
4) Slow service at the pool bar.

Proximity to the night market was the trigger for my selection of this hotel during my visits. The gym was also basic which enables a light workout daily. Staff were polite and the cleanliness was above my expectations. Except for the water pressure for its showers which forced me to spend more time taking showers… this could be improved to enable guests to spend less time indoors but enjoy the ambience of hua hin.
I had a wonderful stay at Putahracsa Hua Hin. The resort is beautifully designed—peaceful, elegant, and very comfortable. Staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. My room was spotless and cozy, with thoughtful touches that made me feel at home.
The breakfast was excellent, and the location is perfect—close to the beach and town, but still quiet and relaxing.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious yet laid-back escape. I’ll definitely return!

Nice budget place to stay. Mangy foreigners stay here. Hiking place is nearby, several Thai food places . Swimming pool, gym. Rooms has enough space and music amenities. Of course you need to rent scooter in this place because it’s quite far away from beach. But overall is good place for stay in Hua Hin.

The location is the best feature of the hotel
A few things didn’t go well . The pool bar ran out of Vodka because their supplier didn’t deliver. Easy solution go to the local and buy but said no. Extend my stay and was forced to change room. The new room was the same layout in a different floor. I couldn’t understand that at all. The food was ok in the hotel . We didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel as the food elsewhere was much better at similar cost.
Value for money was acceptable only.

Very impressed with the room. Kids were very excited about the bunk bed. Totally what we need. Buffet breakfast was decent. Kids’ club was also okay for young kids. The hotel is also conveniently located near Bluport and Cicada/Tamarind Night Market. Service was good, and they were very detail-oriented, including catering for extra towels and slippers for the kids. The amenities within the hotel are average, example the pool and gym were both relatively small. However didn’t affect us as we weren’t planning to be cooped up within the hotel the entire day. Overall, it’s still highly recommended given the cost-to-value.
This is an incredible hotel that totally lives up to its five-star status and at an affordable price! I only booked for two nights (but ended up re-booking for one more due to potential travel issues to Bangkok airport). I could have just found somewhere much cheaper and in my tired state with a narrow window of opportunity I accidentally booked a family room to myself for one night 😅 But at least I was comfortable. Prior to that I was in a Deluxe double. At first I had to hunt down four mosquitoes so please, guests, remember to keep the balcony door closed! After that my brief stay only got better. The room is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast here is simply out of this world, with everything you could wish for. I suffer from migraines and went to the Breeze massage spa which was also amazing with lots of things you can buy as gifts. They gave me some tea, first, meant to help with hair regrowth but it might be a bit too late to help me on that. Still, it was enjoyed. The pool and surrounding area with bar and restaurant are also excellent. It’s a family place outside of the main area but within easy reach (15 baht in a green taxi!) but also a tranquil haven for a solo guest who just wants to be around sophisticated folk. The reception staff are pleasant and there is what looks like a magnificent lobby lounge with bar - sadly I didn’t have time to try it.
Well, I really think I will plan to come back for longer, in my next long holiday and enjoy it some more! Thank you and best wishes in the meantime 😊

Amazing
JJom RataI had an amazing stay at The Standard Hua Hin! The architecture is stunning, blending modern design with a relaxing tropical vibe. Service was top-notch—friendly, attentive staff made every moment enjoyable. The facilities were excellent, from the beautiful pool to the well-equipped gym and beachfront access. A truly impressive hotel—I’ll definitely be back!
AAbhi chatterjiI have always loved this property, great location, beautiful beach, load of things for the kids to do and the best part is the helpful and courteous staff. They are ready to help with anything and everything. Special shout out to Mr. Alex my old friend whom I remembered the minute I saw him at the front office after so many years at the front office, he is still bubbling with energy and so very helpful. Keep it up guys.

GgodskitchenThe pictures posted be others didn't do this villa any justice, this place looks and feels much better than that. I was sceptical at first, but decided to go ahead with the booking. Was very surprised by the place.
First of all, the villa is totally cool. Reception is very welcoming. Welcome drinks and friendly smiles makes your long hours drive so worth it. Parking is available with about 20 lots. Security will guide you to your lot, not many llts utilised but stayers.
The walk to the villa is just a short throw, 1 minute. Each and every villa has almost totally privacy. 2 main types ground level or upper level. Ground level has private pool, view from upper level is blocked from view via an aluminum awning louvres. The pool is also blocked from view from outsiders via bamboo structures.
The ground level with private pool is all yours, not share with next door. There is a jacuzzi in the bath area. Huge one in a huge bath area. 2 separate wash basins with separate standing shower and toilet, all sheltered by glass panels. Make up area is big too. Big side bed by the ultra huge bed. Putting 2 king beds describes the size, can sleep 4 adults side by side.
The beach is just a few villas roons distance away depending on which villa is yours.
Photos attached to justify the better than expected uploaded pictures.
There's are also non villa rooms, but didn't explore them.
Breakfast is imho about jist above average, sufficient on international and local delights. But don't buy my words, i travelled far and wide and had high expectations on food. Eggs station, wide selection of drinks and around 10 hot dishes, cold dishes about there too. Restaurant is by the beach. Sunrise view but hot is you sit by the individual shelters, else the main restaurant good.
Overall impressed with the service, from security, to porter, to the reception.
Rooms are clean as it can get, pool with some particles by acceptable, jacuzzi is as good as new. Wooden structures dish as doors and bridges by the pool and wooden decks looks a little wormed out, but some has been repaired, never impacting stay.
Location is far from the night market but if you are after peace and quiet, this is the one. Near takiap. 6min drive to hua hin beach, else 30min walk along the coast.
One of the best villas at its price range. Reviewed based on july 2024.

DDao LaoI want to first off thank all the lovely staff at Maleesa. They were all so kind and sweet. The room with kitchenette was clean, roomy and the balcony is nice too. Bed a little hard. The quality espresso and fresh toast is a must better than nothing and the lounge is clean, nice, and has some views. The location, although in an alley besides from Village Market, can be an issue if you don’t like walking a lot. With a car or motorbike it’s fine. Didn’t try the pool. For the money a solid 8.5 out of 10.
PPhilipFifiHotel Review: A Perfect Stay for Families!
We stayed as a group of 3 adults and 1 child, and our experience was nothing short of amazing. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the beds are super comfy — we all slept very well. All the amenities you could possibly need are provided, making the stay very convenient and relaxing.
There’s so much to enjoy within the hotel itself: a fun game room, a stunning sky bar, an infinity pool with a beautiful view, a cozy café, and a full-service restaurant. The breakfast buffet was a major highlight — it was very, very nice, offering a wide variety of delicious food to suit every taste.
One of the best parts is the location. Just across the street is the Vana Nava Water Park, where we had a blast! But honestly, with everything the hotel has to offer, you may not even want to leave — it’s all here.
Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a complete and comfortable getaway!
PPamBKKA pleasant surprise, worth every penny. Right in front of a quiet beach. Good quality facilities and amenities. Food in the restaurant here is pretty cheap, considering that it is served in a hotel, and it also tastes good. Included breakfast surprised us even more, with choices of french toast, pancake, salmon/avocado/bacon/cheese on toast, ABF, salad, yoghurt, fruits, porridge and etc. Staffs are kind. Not a single complaint could be thought of for the price we paid. Highly recommended.
JJassie ChuaThey upgraded me to an executive room due to my Hilton member status. However, the room has nothing much to offer except it is much bigger. Even the writing desk seems out of place in the room with one chair.
Disappointed that the executive room doesn’t come with a bathtub as well.
However, like the fact that the cleanliness of the hotel is always top notch even though it is not a new hotel.
The lobby is beautiful and the hotel offers decent variety of food selection if you don’t wish to head out.
Love the fact you can just walk to the beach from the swimming pool though it’s not a private beach.
Location is probably not the most convenient but we enjoyed the quietness there.
The Barbara massage opposite the hotel is awesome too! We went there 2 days consecutively.
IIan DukeThe location is breathtaking, some of the staff are great and even tried to go out of their way and made sure the guest is happy. One of the concierge even dropped me at the nearest convenient shop. However, there is a problem with the room cleanliness and facilities. Check in time was strictly 3pm without flexibility and you can see all the guest gathered at the lobby waiting for the rooms. The bathroom was very dirty, the kettle have no electrical outlet near to it and you have to put it on the floor to use it and the gym equipment are broken and the AC on the gym is also not working. The only great thing about this hotel is the location, the beach bar area and the proximity to the beach.
The hotel needs renovation and has a big potential to be one of the best hotel in Hua Hin. However, the hotel looked neglected and tired.
