Our stay was most enjoyable - a very pleasant hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Well designed hotel with few pretentions, offering comfort and good service. Hotel room - Simple, spacious with good modern facilities. Good, well-designed Breakfast area - Breakfast facilities are very good, with good selection of well prepared food (including an egg station), with thoughtful variations from day to day. The manager in charge of breakfast is attentive, efficient and friendly. Well-designed Bar and pool area, which provides live entertainment (including movie nights with free popcorn). Although on a busy road, it was quiet. Hotel has an outlook (to the rear) from the swimming pool area across to the quiet fields and lush green hills (we enjoyed the sighting of cows and birds in the background). Special mention of Mr Mokthar at Front Desk - he is personable, experienced, helpful and made us feel welcome the moment we stepped in. He is a valuable asset to Bayou hotel. Thank you for a memorable stay.

If you are looking for a place close to the sea, with a real pool for the children and adults as well this hotel is great for your familly trip specially if you have little kiddos. The service is efficient and all the personel are amazingly warm, helpful and réactive to your needs. A warmth thanks to all of you. Rooms are clean and the breakfast is diverse and delicious. The rooms have sufficiently space missing part is the coffee machine that it is missing. Also no bathroom where you can rest and enjoy hot bath but instead, a huge space to have your shower. Regarding the amenities ,the sport room is great but, I will have move it to have the view of the sea,instead of the current place. The spa is really simple, not so cosy and fancy, no as expected for a 5 stars. For me, the missing part is the hotel's place: close to the city , the aerport, , many construction around, far from the forest. For me, it is more a 4 stars hotel but not a real 5 one that take you breath as you can expect in this environement, so to say. As a conclusion , If you are looking for a place to rest, restore, regain energy, I don't think it is the right place. If you are looking for a place to enjoy with your children then , Parkroyal is the right one. Being as well very close, almost attached to a conference center, is a great hotel for the guests.

Loved this hotel. We stayed in the Junior suite with an amazing sea view, had a balcony to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Bathroom was great, had all amenities that we needed. Rooftop pool and gym was also used many times, would stay again next time if we come back! Ps. Make sure you add the breakfast option, great variety

I had an amazing experience staying at this beachside resort during my vacation — definitely one of the best I’ve ever been to! The location is stunning, right by the beach and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The accommodation was super comfortable and all the facilities were top-notch. The staff were really friendly and always ready to help with a smile. What I loved the most was how kid-friendly the place was. The hotel organized several fun activities just for children and my kids had a blast participating in them — they were entertained and happy throughout the stay! The buffet breakfast was another highlight — so many tasty options and everything was fresh and delicious. It was a great way to start each day. A special mention to Mrs. Mary, the tour manager who was incredibly supportive. She helped coordinate all our activities in Langkawi smoothly and made our trip even more enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort to anyone planning a trip to Langkawi — it’s perfect for families, couples or even solo travelers looking for a fun and relaxing getaway!

This was hands down the most satisfying hotel of our trip to Malaysia, and my friends were equally impressed. The service was impeccable, and the amenities were top-notch. Our rooms were individual wooden chalets, which made them incredibly quiet, and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. Our sea-view room opened directly onto the ocean; it was bright, spacious, and had a generously sized bathroom. Each independent chalet comprised multiple rooms. They provided four complimentary bottles of water, with more available upon request. The hotel also offered free yoga classes. Unfortunately, we only stayed for two nights and didn't get to experience many of the facilities. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent, with two restaurants offering different cuisines. The Asian restaurant had tastier food, but the American restaurant boasted unparalleled views, being right by the sea and allowing you to enjoy breakfast facing the ocean. I couldn't resist the shrimp noodles at the Asian restaurant, so I ended up eating there for both days. The hotel features two very clean swimming pools, a beautiful artificial lake, and various other recreational facilities. Water sports bookings were available right next to the hotel, including banana boat rides and jet skiing. Next time, I'll definitely come just to relax and fully enjoy the hotel's offerings.

Very nice hotel close to the beach and the restaurant road. Free parking. Nice balcony in the room. Fridge. Very good air condition that was silent but effective without blowing on the bed. One welcome drink. Buffet dinner costs 80 RM (if you want a la carte, you have to wait around one hour for the food), and breakfast buffet 48 RM. There are many cafés and restaurants as alternative to the hotel breakfast. OK gym with dumbbells up to 25kg. We booked a room superior with seaview.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Aloft Pentai for four nights, and it exceeded my expectations in many ways. First off, the location is fantastic—right in front of the beach, which allowed for easy access to water sports and beach activities. The surrounding area is lively, filled with restaurants and bars, and the town center buzz is just a quick five-minute drive away. Plus, being close to the airport made our arrival and departure seamless. The room itself was a delightful surprise. It was clean, spacious, and featured comfortable bean bags that added a nice touch for relaxing. The balcony was a standout feature, offering a great spot to enjoy the sea breeze and take in the views. Wi-Fi connectivity was excellent, allowing us to stay connected without any issues, whether we were working or streaming our favorite shows. Breakfast was varied and enjoyable, providing plenty of choices to start our day right. The highlight of our stay was definitely the beach access and the variety of activities available, which made our time there truly memorable. Overall, Aloft Pentai provided a wonderful experience, combining comfort, convenience, and great amenities. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beach getaway!

The location is absolutely excellent, surrounded by various eateries, convenience stores, a pharmacy, a laundromat, and even a Maybank. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and very well-maintained. All the staff are incredibly friendly. The children's pool is safely designed even for toddlers as young as two. The adult pool is 4 feet deep, providing a safe and appropriate depth for Malaysian adults. If you ever feel bored, there's a gym available. The food options are consistently delicious too. Overall, it's truly superb! 👍

How to start, during our stay at Holiday Villa Beach Resort Langkawi we had an amazing experience. The resort may be a little old, but to me, old is GOLD especially when everything is kept clean and spotless. Our towels and bed linens were changed daily, and every corner of the garden was beautifully maintained. Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide spread every morning. The private beach was a highlight with soft sand, peaceful, and my kid practically had the whole beach to themselves! The swimming pool is impressively large and always clean, perfect for a refreshing dip. Every staff member we met served us with a warm smile. Their hospitality truly stole our heart. We had such a great time that we didn’t want to leave. Without a doubt, we’ll be coming back again. Full 5 stars from us! For you who are looking for a calm place with lower budget please dont think twice this is perfect for you. But if u are lookinh for new shining every little spot please choose new hotel nearby, they are a lot of choice in langkawi. In my opinion this hotel dont deserved bad rating.. we will definitely come back soon.
