The second time I stayed here, the first time I stayed in a Western-style room. The room was large and very new. The second time I brought my parents to stay, I chose a traditional Japanese-style room. When I opened the window, I could see the snow-capped mountains and mountains. The attitude of the service staff is very good and the experience is very good. Staff will take the initiative to help make the bed at night. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very good, each restaurant has a fixed location, and dinner and breakfast are prepared in advance. However, the included meals are vegetarian by default. If you want to change meat, remember to tell customer service in advance.

The food in this restaurant is quite bad among the many Hoshino hotels I stayed in…very ordinary and the ingredients are not high-end. The hotel should be sold for the scenery during the red leaf season. However, there are too many choices of beautiful maple leaf hotels in Japan. Overall, the service of this hotel is quite good. However, I would not recommend friends to come to this hotel. It is too ordinary and the price-performance ratio is relatively low.

The family is in their 30s. The room is large and the dinner is very luxurious. It is worthy of the specifications of the New Year’s Eve dinner. The service is very meticulous and thoughtful. The hot spring does not feel any minerals, but the venue is large and has an open air. When we left, we had a lot of luggage and took the initiative to drive us to the station, generally affordable

Very old school ryokan run by very friendly who has been working there for many years. Your name will be displayed on the board next to the entrance of the ryokan to show that they were currently welcoming these guests staying at the ryokan! We stayed there for 2 nights with free parking and we didn’t have to drive anywhere until we checked out as the ryokan is within walking distance to the 3 major world heritage listed shrines including The Toshogu Palace. Avoid room 312 or 313 (which we stayed) which are the smallest rooms. Those rooms in the middle parts are bigger and more comfortable. Do ask for any room facing the back of the ryokan and avoid those facing the front where you only see car parks with coaches coming in the morning bringing tourists to the shrines. The onsite Onsen for ryokan guests, breakfasts and dinners are the highlights. You’d love the traditional Japanese meals served there and you won’t be hungry. Would I come back to this ryokan again? Yes definitely due to its location and friendly staff.

As a Ctrip Gold Diamond member, I never write reviews for hotels I've been to, but this time, I have to especially thank the hotel's Chinese receptionist, Ms. Yu (I don't know if it's this Yu or that Yu, please forgive me if I write it wrong). Ms. Yu is very serious and responsible in her work, and she is also very enthusiastic and willing to help others. She patiently explained to me the hotel's environmental structure and various precautions, and personally took me to understand the location and usage of the hotel facilities. After learning that I wanted to have a massage to relieve fatigue, she took the initiative to take me to communicate with the masseur to determine the time and specific items, etc. She was very patient. I hope to see you again next time I come to your hotel, thank you 🙏

We had a corner room on the first floor, but we were able to spend the night there without worrying about the sound of footsteps, which we had been worried about. We were very happy to find a coffee machine, a washing machine with dryer, and a projector in the bedroom, which we hadn't used much. The futons were two thin mattresses (double size?), which seemed fine for children to use, but my husband and I were worried about back pain, so we used the beds. The beds were comfortable. The bath water could be filled with water by turning on the plug and switching it on, and if it was too hot, we could use the cold water tap to adjust the water temperature. After getting out of the bath, my body felt warm for a while, and although it was an artificial hot spring, I could really feel the difference from usual. There were few explanations for each, but it was written clearly everywhere. If there were any things that were difficult to understand, we could ask (by video call) on the tablet provided, so we didn't have any trouble. We were treated well. This time, we only used the convenience store (Seven), but there was also a *****tore within walking distance that was open from morning until late at night, which was very helpful. I would like to try other places as well.

The location is quite remote, and it takes an hour and a half from Tobu Nikko. The key is that there are few shuttle buses. The hotel environment is good, the public areas have been renovated and are very new, the rooms are a little old, but the area is large. You can only choose two times for dinner: 6 o'clock or 6:30. You can only choose two times for breakfast, 7:30 or 8 o'clock. If the time doesn't match, you can only give up. I booked a one-night, two-meal package, and left Nikko at 3 o'clock in order to catch up with the morning dinner. And the dinner was not very delicious. So it is not recommended to choose a package with dinner.

A traditional Japanese-style hot spring hotel, small and beautiful. The dinner portion is very generous and delicious. The breakfast is a Japanese breakfast. The price is quite affordable. It is worth recommending to everyone at this level.

What a remarkable experience! The inability to find words speaks volumes. Everything was flawless, meeting high Western standards. Additionally, we inadvertently left a sweater in the room as we continued to Tokyo. Upon contacting the hotel, the staff were immensely helpful in resolving the issue. They efficiently arranged for the sweater to be delivered to Tokyo, saving us considerable effort and allowing us to continue our journey peacefully. The service was exceptional, especially considering that the responsibility was entirely ours. Absolutely outstanding service..

Service was excellent! Some staff can speak English. Busy hotel but got enough parking. Location is convenient, there are restaurant nearby. Room is semi-double but we got enough space. Got breakfast however the breakfast time is pretty early from 6am to 8:30am. (Check out time is 10am) We went down at 7:45am, but food was almost gone, but staff no refill anymore, this might need to be improved. Also the room inside and the bathroom are a bit old, carpet is a bit dirty, this might need to be improved too. But overall, its pretty good to stay a few nights.
