The hotel was inflexible about changing rooms unless it was the same room type. However, the location is great. I'd choose to stay here again next time for several reasons. First, it's very close to Solaniwa Onsen, which is open from 11 AM to 11 PM. This is a perfect option for those with an early check-out and a late flight. Second, there are a few good restaurants nearby, located on the upper floor of the mall between the hotel and Solaniwa Onsen (see attached photos). Third, the city view from the 51st floor during breakfast or dinner is absolutely worth checking out. Fourth, you can take the subway directly to Kansai Airport without any transfers. Just pay attention to the announcements; about two stops before the airport, the train splits, so make sure you're in the correct car. The front desk also has staff who speak Chinese!

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Eins Kadoma. The hotel feels new, clean, and well-maintained. The room is quite spacious compared to many hotels in Japan, providing enough space for luggage and comfortable movement. Facilities are quite complete — there’s a coin laundry, vending machines, and basic amenities provided in the room, making it convenient for both short and longer stays. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the nearby shopping mall and train station, which makes travelling around very convenient. There are also several family-style restaurants in the surrounding area, so finding meals is easy. The nearest Family Mart is about a 10-minute walk away. Overall, it’s a comfortable and practical hotel with good value for money. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Kadoma who prefers a quiet stay but still wants easy access to shops and transportation.

The hotel is visible right after exiting the south gate of Sakai Station, about a 300-meter walk away. The south exit has a supermarket and many izakayas nearby. The north exit has a small shopping mall with plenty of food options, about a 500-meter walk to the hotel. The hotel's ground floor provides makeup remover, facial cleanser, toner, and lotion, which I found quite effective, even with my sensitive skin. The room looked exactly like the pictures; what you see is what you get with many things there. The room has hangers and a humidifier. A stroll along the port downstairs is also very pleasant. The bathroom was a bit small, but overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

The hotel has a pleasant ambiance and is conveniently located near the subway station. The rooftop onsen is fantastic and very relaxing. The rooms are also quite good, and you can easily walk to the Tenmangu Shopping Street from here.

I have a great stay at Citadines. Was not expecting a lot as i merely booked it as the one day tour company request to stay in hotel near Namba. It definitely exceeded my expectations in many ways. Location is around 200m to Kuromon market where you can find plenty of goodies and food. It also connects to the popular Dotonburi where you will go crazy finding outlets like Onitsuka Tiger & Popmart as well as popular eateries like Ichiran ramen! Good to book a premier room that comes with a kitchen. It does daily housekeeping with lounges & a launderette. Very happy to stay there! Highly recommended!

The location is excellent, just turn left downstairs and you're at Shinsaibashi. There's a supermarket, noodle shop, and coffee shop nearby for breakfast. There are also two popular ramen shops downstairs that always have a queue. The room is small but well-laid out, clean, and hygienic. There's an elderly gentleman at the front desk who speaks Chinese and is very friendly. I would choose to stay here again next time.

Completely exceeded my expectations! The lobby decor is grand yet cozy 🏡, and the bellhop was super enthusiastic about helping with luggage 🧳. The room's soundproofing was so good I couldn't hear any noise 🤫, and waking up to the morning sun was incredibly refreshing 🌞. Checkout was super fast, no long waits ⌛. Highly recommended!

The room was incredibly spacious. Although it was listed as 22 square meters, it felt even larger than a typical Hanting Premium room in China. We could easily open two suitcases without them getting in the way at all. The bathroom wasn't those integrated, plastic-y types; both the bathtub and shower fixtures felt quite high-quality. The bed was a bit small, I'd estimate around 1.6m (but for two people, it's fine if you don't toss and turn much). The hotel has two communal laundry rooms, costing 500 yen for a wash and dry cycle, which was very convenient. There are also vending machines where you can buy drinks anytime. The room had a small window.

Excellent location for visit to Expo. The hotel is located right next to the bus terminal for buses to expo west gate, and literally right across the road from JR Sakurajima that connects you by train to rest of osaka, especially the osaka expo liner that brings you direct to Osaka station in 13min.  Also enjoyed the onsen though it was way too crowded probably because of full capacity during the expo. But in general top marks for amenities and location.

The hotel's surroundings are excellent, with convenient transportation; there are 3 subway stations within 1 km. However, I did notice some discrimination against Chinese guests, especially from the breakfast restaurant staff. Their service attitude clearly differed between Chinese guests and Caucasians. While it might not bother everyone, it was noticeable. Overall, this hotel is still worth staying at. The room cleaning was also very good and timely.

潘lucienWe were fortunate to book a hotel right in front of Universal Studios for this trip with our kids. The location is perfect — just a 3-minute walk to the park, with a Starbucks and Lawson right outside and plenty of dining options nearby. Although it was crowded due to summer holidays, the hotel had everything we needed and is ideal for families with young children. The room was very clean, with no unpleasant odors or smoke smell. There are also washing machines, dryers, water dispensers, and an ice machine available. Staying at a hotel so close to the park made our trip truly enjoyable!

YYuexin IrisBefore my trip, I was torn between the InterContinental, W Hotel, Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, and The Park Hyatt, but I ended up choosing the InterContinental, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel upgraded my room, and both the view and the size were fantastic. The hotel's location is impeccable, right above Grand Front Osaka. Stepping out, you're immediately surrounded by major shopping malls like Hankyu, Daimaru, Yodobashi Camera, Lucua, and Lucua 1100, all connected by walkways. From gourmet food to shopping and trendy brands, it was incredibly convenient. Having such a spacious room in Japan is a rarity. Our upgraded room must have been nearly 100 square meters – incredibly roomy and practical, complete with an oven, induction cooktop, and a double-door refrigerator. The bathroom featured a bathtub and Byredo amenities; a soak with the hotel-provided bath salts instantly melted away the day's fatigue. The breakfast buffet offered a wide array of choices, including Japanese cold dishes, Oden, and Western desserts, all with meticulous attention to detail. From the concierge to the front desk, every staff member demonstrated professionalism. At check-out, they even proactively helped load our luggage into the car and confirmed the address with the driver in Japanese. Plus, there were many staff members who spoke Chinese. The only minor drawback was a noticeable smell of disinfectant when returning to the room each day, but it didn't detract from the overall experience at all. Whether it's for shopping, comfort, or service details, this hotel will definitely be my choice again on my next visit to Osaka!

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel for the second time and was impressed by its consistent quality. The room was spotlessly clean, and Sexually transmitted infection: and well-equipped with modern facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The location is highly convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transport. The staff were courteous and attentive, providing excellent service throughout my visit. My only complaint is that the milk vending machine was frequently out of stock, which was a minor inconvenience. Overall, the hotel offers a pleasant and reliable experience, making it a great choice for travelers. I would definitely consider returning for future stays.

GGrace 恩雅After staying in a cheaper APA hotel in Tokyo, my partner and I were looking forward to a higher-end stay at the Mercure in Osaka. It was... okay. I'll start with the positives: the proximity to Dotonbori is the biggest plus. It's about a 3-minute walk to the main canal strip. The hotel is separated from the peak tourism chaos by a few streets, so it isn't too overwhelmingly busy around the hotel itself. Convenient FamilyMart and 7-Eleven options are nearby, as you'd expect. The room was clean. The Italian restaurant on the 2nd floor was also quite lovely and well-priced. Now the negatives. First, the lighting was so dim in the hallways and the room itself that it was less ”pleasant mood lighting” and more ”I can't see anything/do my makeup.” I actually thought some of the lightbulbs were blown, but my partner pointed out they were just absurdly dim. Secondly, the door to the bathroom/shower was broken and wouldn't stay shut, so we had to use a few heavy items on the floor to keep it closed. Some of the USB outlets were also non-functioning. Thirdly - and this may be our fault - the washer-dryer combo machine in our room (which was a big reason for us booking this hotel) was finicky to use and only had Japanese labels/instructions. The room guide on the smart TV did have some instructions, but we struggled to operate the machine regardless. Then, after we worked it out, the drying cycle shrunk and heavily wrinkled our clothes. This wouldn't be the end of the world, but the room had no iron or ironing board. You have to go to reception to hire an iron separately or use the ”iron room,” which we never saw the inside of because it was locked every time we tried the door. None of these drawbacks were trip-ruining or anything, and in a cheaper 3-star hotel, we wouldn't be clutching our pearls about it. But because this is a pricier 4-star, internationally-known hotel brand, we expected more. Overall, the stay was not unpleasant, but it was nothing to write home about either.

GGuest UserIt is just opposite Bentencho Station, just across the street, and the transportation is very convenient. It takes 20 minutes to get to Universal by subway. Tips: When transferring, you can get off directly on the opposite side and transfer, which is very convenient, and their train schedules are well matched, so you don't have to wait for the train. There are two 711s downstairs, a life 350m away, and a Don Quijote 900m away. You can also take the subway to Osaka Station for shopping, which is also very convenient! The hotel's breakfast is free for guests! No need to spend extra money, don't book the one with breakfast! The room has a bathtub, and there are free bath salts on the first floor. I saw a comment about the problem of storing luggage for money, because we left in the morning, so we didn't store it. However, all subway stations have storage machines (charged), you can pay attention to it.

GGuest UserEverything about this hotel is brilliant. Although breakfast is not included, it can be purchased and is very reasonably priced. Quite close to English breakfast except no toast. There is French bread which is sweet. Plenty of fruit also. Unlimited tea, coffee and hot chocolate all day. The rooms are spotless and the whole hotel is like a new build. (Maybe it is) There is entertainment most nights in the lounge except when there is a DJ, which is not really entertainment. No mixing or dance. No lights either and no communication with the audience. (Which is very small). The hotel is above Kitahama station which is handy, if you can work out the rail and subway system. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We extended our stay three times which says a lot. You won’t be disappointed staying here.

XXiemimiThe hotel view is absolutely fantastic, offering a great cityscape of Osaka. From the better room types, you get a direct view of a large area of Umeda, including the train station. The decor is European style, though it feels a bit 'knock-off' – like a fake European imitation. The details don't hold up under close inspection, and the cleanliness is noticeably not as good as in Tokyo. They're very generous with amenities, providing a lot. Breakfast is à la carte, suitable for those who enjoy Western breakfast; I found it pretty good, and the bread was quite tasty. There was a musty smell in the room, so overall, it didn't feel very high-end. The bedding was also quite ordinary. Its strengths are definitely the view and the value for money.

LLizzie_8181Excellent location above Osaka Takashimaya, linked to Namba Station directly by lift. Getting to the hotel was abit confusing using google maps until we figured it out. Overall their location makes for ease of shopping & convenient offload the bags in the hotel room. The check in desk was very professional & the bath tub was European size (we booked twin beds). Of the 3 hotels that we booked in Osaka (&Here Namba, Universal Port Vita, Swissotel), Swissotel was the only hotel that could read & execute our consistent requests to push the twin beds together so our toddler could sleep in the middle. Thumbs up for their professionalism. There was also a pair of kid slippers laid out for our kid. There is a friendly hotel bar (free entry, subject to opening hours in afternoon) on level 9 that allows one to play retro video games like Mario & board games etc. Our kid throughly enjoyed their hotel bar games. As Swissôtel is a business hotel, there is no water pitcher in the room & no ice dispenser room. The toilet is a combined one-room facility. However, the rooms are quiet, the water pressure is great & everyone slept really well. Thanks Swissotel

AAoniguiguiThe location is truly exceptional. Step right out, and you're practically in Umeda, Osaka's prime shopping area. Major department stores like Daimaru and Lucua 1100 are just a 5-8 minute walk away, offering a vast selection of brands and convenient in-store tax refunds. JR train access is also excellent; Universal Studios is less than 20 minutes away with a super convenient same-platform transfer. The airport limousine bus stop is also just a 3-minute walk, making airport transfers incredibly easy. The hotel was clean, and the service was attentive. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.
