Our initial triple room was incredibly cramped, but the double room we moved to later had a normal, comfortable amount of space. The hotel's location is absolutely superb; it makes getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel occupies floors nine and above, with a shopping mall and restaurants on the floors below (up to the eighth floor). Getting here is very straightforward: take the airport bus to Osaka Station, and it's just around the corner in the direction the bus was heading. The transportation links are truly excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.

Loved the location, near to Ebisucho metro station. Walking distances to Shinsekai Tower. Loved the supermarket nearby. The hotel staff are all very helpful. Ryu at the front desk helped me with the luggage delivery. The room was cleaned every day. Thank you to the house keeping teams, they worked hard in cleaning the room thoroughly. The free ramen was really good, I missed it already. The staff in the restaurant did very good job in keeping the restaurant cleaned and very patient with the guests although some guests didn’t cleaned their own dishes. Well done to them. We love the hotel and will come back
The hotel is located right by the JR Bentencho Station exit. However, reaching it requires crossing a pedestrian bridge, and there are several flights of stairs without an elevator, which can be quite difficult if you're traveling with large suitcases. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall location is very convenient. Being directly on the Osaka Loop Line, it offers excellent connectivity to anywhere you'd want to go – the city center, USJ, and even Kansai Airport are all incredibly easy to reach. The rooms are significantly larger than what you'd typically find in central Osaka hotels, and the views are fantastic. The breakfast on the 51st floor is very popular and gets crowded daily. While the food selection is quite generous, my only complaint is that they start clearing the buffet promptly at 9:30 AM, which feels a bit short of five-star expectations.
We booked the hotel to visit the Osaka Expo. It is really easy to get to from Shin Osaka, taking the special JR Expo Liner to Sakurajima Station, with the hotel a short walking distance away. The daily shuttle to the Expo is also a short 150-200m away. Getting to the Kansai Airport is also easy. There is a once daily limousine bus departing at 12:29 outside the hotel, or if you prefer other timings, walk towards those hotels near Universal Studios.
Room is very spacious, very clean and good amenities. The public bath on Level 3 great too. Breakfast at 4400 yen is not as good as those, from Royal Park hotels at half the price. While Japanese selections are wide, Western selection is very limited. We don’t even bother to take pictures of the food as there are nothing to shout about. I
The room was spacious and very clean. Drinks in the mini-fridge were complimentary, and they also provided four free bottles of water. It's a great option for families with children.
A crucial heads-up: this hotel has a strict maximum occupancy policy. For instance, a triple room can only accommodate three people. It seems children over 8 years old are charged an extra bed fee. It's advisable to call and confirm the details beforehand. My friend's 12-year-old child was either charged extra or had to book an additional room.

The hotel boasts a fantastic central location, nestled between Midosuji Avenue and Shinsaibashi shopping street, making getting around incredibly convenient. Access to the Midosuji Line is superb; you can quickly reach Umeda and connect to various other destinations. Check-in was a breeze, with Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk who clearly and thoroughly explained all the necessary details. Our triple room was impressively spacious, easily accommodating two large suitcases opened simultaneously. The overall room environment and cleanliness were of an excellent, above-average standard. It was remarkably quiet and featured excellent blackout curtains, so much so that I accidentally slept in until 10 AM one day! Being on a high floor, our room offered a truly beautiful night view. Definitely a highly recommended option if you're looking to stay near Shinsaibashi.

A nice and clean hotel in a reasonable location. It can be noisy due to the adjacent major road, especially when noisy motor bikes and sports cars drive past making a terrible noise.
Rooms are adequate in size for one, but the twin bedded rooms are a little bigger.
The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and polite. Lift access is a bit unusual as one needs to catch an ascending separate lift to reach reception on the 16th floor, and then another descending separate lift to reach your room on levels 15 and below. Overall a nice hotel. Thank you.

Love that the hotel was right beside a shopping mall and there was also a toys r us right beside which we could conveniently get anything our baby need. Hotel also provides a bottle sterilizer if needed! Great for travelling with babies. Location wise, it’s quite a walk to the station though walking through the malls give some shelter from the sun and heat.

Nice hotel but do not know is near what station or hospital, can hear a lot of siren even at night. There is a resting room with water dispenser, laundry room ( no need bring own detergent) but drying of clothes takes time if not have to look for nearby laundromat. There also a playroom for kids. Is walkable to 2 different station. House keeping and staff are helpful and friendly.

I hadn't come across this hotel during my initial research back home. It was a last-minute booking for a two-day stay in Umeda, and to my surprise, I was incredibly satisfied.
I had booked a standard twin room, but to our delight, we were upgraded to a triple upon check-in. With my 9-year-old, having three beds was perfect, ensuring everyone got a good night's sleep.
The hotel's location is also excellent and easy to navigate. Although it's a short distance from JR and other train lines, you can easily enter an underground passage just outside the hotel. This means you're protected from rain and sun, and within minutes, you can reach major department stores like Hankyu, Hanshin, Daimaru, and Yodobashi Camera.
A major plus is the Kansai Airport limousine bus stop, located extremely close to the hotel. Buses are frequent, rarely crowded, and provide a comfortable and efficient journey.
The hotel offers complimentary drinks all day. In the afternoons, they serve afternoon tea and alcoholic beverages, and in the evenings, even rice and pickled side dishes are available.
On the top floor, there's also a hot spring bath (onsen).
My only regret is forgetting to take photos! If I had, Picture 1 would feature the complimentary late-night snack, Picture 2 the afternoon drinks, and Picture 3 the nearby Hanshin Department Store. I genuinely regret not having booked my entire stay here. Highly recommended!

Great
GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Park Front Hotel with my 12-year-old son for three days and two nights while visiting Universal Studios Japan. The location is fantastic—right across from the park, making it incredibly convenient. The surrounding area features a mall with a variety of dining options and vibrant nightlife, so you won't get lost.
While the hotel has an older, classic design, it’s clean and offers spacious rooms for a reasonable price. I highly recommend it for families planning to visit USJ, as it saves you the hassle of long commutes after a tiring day at the theme park.
The staff is friendly, though I didn’t have much interaction with them. The breakfast buffet is tasty with a good selection, but there are plenty of dining options nearby, including Tully's Cafe and McDonald's, so consider saving money by eating out instead. Overall, a solid choice for families, especially given the fair pricing for a comfortable stay!
MMengmengmamaChoosing InterContinental Osaka was hands down the smartest decision I made!
The location is absolutely phenomenal! A shopper's paradise! Major malls and flagship stores are right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient to get all your favorite items in one go!
The rooms are incredibly spacious! In Japan, where space is a premium, the InterContinental's rooms feel like a true luxury. We booked a king room and even added an extra bed, and it still didn't feel cramped at all! The bathroom was also large and bright, and being able to lie down and gaze at Osaka's vibrant cityscape made it absolutely worth it!
The service was exceptionally thoughtful! From check-in to check-out, every single staff member was polite, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented. The front desk, housekeeping, concierge... even the parking and luggage storage services were absolutely faultless!
When checking out, they even proactively offered to weigh my luggage. The most delightful surprise was when a staff member wished me ”Gong Xi Fa Cai” in Chinese – it felt so incredibly welcoming!
It truly proved to be a brilliant choice to stay at InterContinental Osaka! Next time I'm in Osaka, I'm definitely booking this place again!
GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel for the second time and was impressed by its consistent quality. The room was spotlessly clean, and Sexually transmitted infection: and well-equipped with modern facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The location is highly convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transport. The staff were courteous and attentive, providing excellent service throughout my visit. My only complaint is that the milk vending machine was frequently out of stock, which was a minor inconvenience. Overall, the hotel offers a pleasant and reliable experience, making it a great choice for travelers. I would definitely consider returning for future stays.

Very Good
AAmarFromUKLocation:
Next to Bentencho station so easy access to Osaka loop line and Chuo Line for Subway and Rail. Really good location even though it's not central Osaka. The advantage is that you can still get everywhere within 10-20mins and the surrounding area is clean and safe and quiet.
There is a 7-11 next door and a commercial gym (charged at 1650 per day)
Negatives are there is not much to do in the evenings. But this leads to the quietness of the area and is an advantage
Hotel Room:
We stayed in double room and it was large. Nice comfortable bed with good pillows. The AC was modern and good and did not make noise even while we were asleep. The room is cleaned daily (tidy and new towels) with new sheets every 3 days. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. The room was also very clean. The bed has USB and chargers on either side of it. There is space to hang clothes
But the room is really nice. We always were glad to come back to a very clean and tidy place. The TV has English menus but we never watched anything.
Negatives are the fridge could be colder and the bathroom sink has a tiny slope on it so you cannot place product on the sink but you have a shelf above the sink for this. Very slight negatives for what is a great place to stay
Hotel features:
Excellent. Great laundry room with several washers & dryers. Trouser presses, vending machine and ice machine. A rooftop terrace with good views.
The breakfast is free and is underwhelming, just different bread and pastries with choices of juice, soups, water and yogurt. It's acceptable and I guess it's free.
The hotel lobby has little items you can take if needed, such as hair bands, toothbrushes, razor kits but something nice was that they give you bath bombs for free too. Different ones each day.
Staff:
Very friendly and helpful, even after midnight when I made requests they were very fast and helpful
Overview:
100% would stay here again. The price-to-quality ratio and the large room size make this an easy choice. Do not worry about location, I stayed it Dontonburi area before and alothgh its close to everything, its loud, dirty and feels unsafe. But the location of Porta Inn is really good and super easy to get to central areas (around 10-20mins) and easy to get to the airport (direct line) and easy to get to Universal Studios too.
MM628904****The room is clean and comfortable, and the location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk to the subway station, making it very easy to get around. The front desk service is efficient and professional, and the check-in process was simple and quick, ensuring a smooth and pleasant start to your trip. Whether for business or leisure travel, this is an ideal place to stay.

Amazing
SSiyuvEverything was great, but whether it was the dinner buffet on the first floor or breakfast on the 25th floor, I seemed to have arrived a bit late, and there was no one at the reception desk. I had to look around for a while before someone attended to me.
I have a Hankyu card for points, but I forgot to show it during breakfast, and the staff didn't ask. I only remembered it after I got back.
The toiletries are now the hotel's own brand, not Guerlain anymore.
The black tea in the room was delicious; I ordered the same kind as soon as I got home.
The service was impeccable, five-star level, and the view was also great. The TV supports screen casting.
There's a taxi stand right outside, and the foreign staff at the hotel speak excellent Japanese.
The greetings also had that impressive Hanshin Group touch.
I would like to stay here again.
LLizzie_8181Excellent location above Osaka Takashimaya, linked to Namba Station directly by lift. Getting to the hotel was abit confusing using google maps until we figured it out. Overall their location makes for ease of shopping & convenient offload the bags in the hotel room.
The check in desk was very professional & the bath tub was European size (we booked twin beds).
Of the 3 hotels that we booked in Osaka (&Here Namba, Universal Port Vita, Swissotel), Swissotel was the only hotel that could read & execute our consistent requests to push the twin beds together so our toddler could sleep in the middle. Thumbs up for their professionalism. There was also a pair of kid slippers laid out for our kid.
There is a friendly hotel bar (free entry, subject to opening hours in afternoon) on level 9 that allows one to play retro video games like Mario & board games etc. Our kid throughly enjoyed their hotel bar games.
As Swissôtel is a business hotel, there is no water pitcher in the room & no ice dispenser room. The toilet is a combined one-room facility. However, the rooms are quiet, the water pressure is great & everyone slept really well.
Thanks Swissotel
