In the winter it would be nice to have a kettle as well as slippers to walk on the cold marble floor, especially since I can't control the heat as it's controlled by the front desk. The front desk staff are very helpful with ordering taxis with flat rates so you won't get cheated.

It’s scary around the hotel, police are always there, dodgy shops around. Stay nearby or at hotels around Ovo Castle. It’s too dirty aroung Gibraldi station where this hotel is located.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. Great hotel near the station, fair price for the night.. Right room for one person with all the comforts

I traveled to Napoli alone. My car broke down on the way. It was already past 11 o'clock when I arrived. Although I chose a 12-person room, it didn't seem to be full because it was New Year's Day. I stayed there for 3 days in total. At most, there seemed to be only 6 people living there. The washroom and toilet were all outside the dormitory, which felt a little quieter. The bed was very soft and quite comfortable to sleep in. Anyway, I slept until noon every day to go around. The whole city is very unique. I stayed there for 3 nights. I spent one day strolling around the city and another day walking around Pompeii. One night was New Year's Day, and everyone went up to the rooftop to watch the fireworks. The view on the rooftop was really good. It was also part of the youth hostel. There were tables and chairs on it where you could bask in the sun. It was a wonderful New Year's Eve. The kitchen was fully equipped with kitchenware and dishwasher, and there were free tea bags, snacks, etc. You could take them for free. You can make some pasta yourself. There is a supermarket within a minute's walk, and you can buy cheap snacks and water immediately. The hostel is not far from attractions such as the National Archaeological Museum, the Spanish Quarter, and the New Castle.

The bus boys just told us to park ourselves. FINE. Then after I've checked in I asked if the luggage will be sent up to our room - reception then asked if I got a luggage ticket to which I told him we weren't given anything. The bus boys just stood around the entrance. He said they would be sent up shortly but given how they were just standing around we just took our luggage ourselves - mind you I am 6 months pregnant and obviously so but they did not offer any help. Once we got to our room the air conditioning was not working - we kept dialing it down but there was no air. Amazing to find out the AC wasn't working for the price we paid. The room is stuffy and even the hallway was cooler. Also during our stay there was conference - we were given a room on the same floor as conference participants and as expected they were loud and rowdy at night. We could hear them talking in the hallway at night when we called reception they said there was nothing they can do. So very helpful. Upon check out, the same bus boy stood around while watching a pregnant lady wheel 4 pieces of luggage out. I really just wonder what they do other than standing around all day hanging in the shade. Service is terrible here and I've had better service at small boutique or family run hotels than here. The only upside to this stay was that the rooms are spacious and clean and that's about it.

Only downside for us was it was difficult to reach here from Port or from Train station. It took almost 50 min to reach here as buses are not frequent. Finding the right bus was a hassle as google maps bus number and actual was way different. You have to check with drivers to know. The team here were having all the bus n train tickets so we dont have to get in line for tickets this was a plus.

1. It is very easy to find, just opposite the train station. You just need to walk straight to the train station. 2. The breakfast is the biggest highlight of this trip. The environment is good and very exquisite. Because the ingredients are fresh, the taste of breakfast and dinner is very good. 3. The room is clean and comfortable. There is a small balcony facing the train station. 4. Because it is near the train station, the environment around the hotel is very poor. There are homeless people everywhere, especially crossing the road to the station is really thrilling. 5. Everything else is good, especially the breakfast is perfect.

Nice hotel near Napoli Centrale. Lots of tours go out from this hotel, so super convenient. Lots of cafe, restaurants and shopping near by. Metro station is also close by to visit Toleda or Dante. Overall great place.

The hotel is small, run by some very friendly and helpful guys. Our room was big enough, very basic with a small TV, desk, tiny balcony and shower room. If we were just talking about the room and hotel itself, I would highly recommend it for the price. The location is great for the train stations. Apart from that the neighborhood is not great. There were *********** stood on the street outside our window and there were human faeces in the street. This isn't the fault of the hotel, but I feel that I should tell people as for some this may ruin their trip.

Hotel location is great, especially after the refurbishment, the room design is strong, the space is large, clean and tidy, the items are complete, and the service staff are warm and friendly. Standing on the balcony of the room, the sea and the sky are the same. The restaurant on the top floor has a wide view and a variety of desserts. I didn't want to see the seagulls on the window sill. I was quite cooperative with me to take pictures. I added a little fun. I drank an extra cup of coffee. I especially liked the guy in charge of the restaurant that day. The service was patient and thoughtful!

The hotel has a superb view. It's by the sea. The parking lot is small, and you need to make an appointment in advance. Of course, it's charged for parking! The breakfast is quite rich. There is a beach to swim. It was charged with 15 euros for two people.

Everything is ok just the location is a bit far from the train station & downtown. I asked for a late check out & they gave me an extra hour w/o charges, that’s good enough!

This was our second stay in Amalfi and at the same hotel as we loved it so much the first time in 2019. Everything is amazing, the host staff, room,,cleanliness and presentation. Breakfast was delicious. Totally recommend!!

Amazing accommodation. Beautiful friendly staff. Great food in restaurant & great breakfast. Rooms big clean & comfortable. Great water pressure in shower. The sea view rooms with balcony are spectacular and extra special at night. Bus stop right outside which takes you all the way down to town centre & then 5 min walk to beach & you take bus back up from same spot dropped you off all for $1.60 euros each way. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND & DEFINITELY GOING BACK!!

The hotel is very beautiful, in the middle of the mountain in the small town of VIETRI, quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, the outdoor swimming pool is very good, although it is not big. The room condition is average, and the area is not bad in Italy. It is best to book a full sea view room. We only have a partial sea view room because we booked late this time. Especially praise the terrace restaurant for breakfast and dinner, overlooking the bay (pictured), the atmosphere of dinner is very elegant, blowing the sea breeze, lighting candles, tasting Italian wine, paired with seafood, and other meals are also very good. The breakfast is rich, but a bit hot. In short, I feel that I have lived for a few days!

The hotel is in a perfect location with a great panorama over the port of Salerno and the coast. Unfortunately the spa was closed due to the season! The rooms are large and clean, the superior room even had two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bathtub... I understand, both with a toilet...

I took a day trip and stayed in here for one night. The only thing I regret is that I only one day. The ocean view from the room was breathtaking and all staff were extremely warm and welcoming. The dining was also very good! They offer free water taxi and free boat tour which was definitely worth it. I didn’t get a chance to use the gym. But this is perhaps one of the best gym set up I have seen. I will take my family back here again!

Excellent location, one step at a time, historical buildings, star restaurants, exquisite gardens, excellent service. The bedding in the room, free minibar, toiletries, and shower facilities are also full of sincerity. With high expectations, the result can exceed expectations, not satisfied. Tips: The hotel offers a free shuttle service to almafi, booked one hour in advance so that you can seamlessly connect to the hotel after arriving in amalfi by ferry.

The hotel is at a good location, just a few minutes' walk from the business district of Amalfi. Both the environment and scenery are beautiful. The sea view room with a balcony is facing the town's marina. After all, it is a hotel on the cliff, so the room is a bit small. Other aspects are all good.
