Hotel booked and fully paid for on Trip but surprise: when you arrive you must pay mandatory additional costs, in addition to the tourist tax, for a total of €29/day corresponding to “services” (package including card to access the room, cleaning of it, towels for the swimming pool…) therefore an additional addition of 203€ to be paid upon arrival on the 1490€ for two, breakfast only, already paid.
You are not allowed to go into the swimming pool without a swimming cap. The breakfast is not great. No small convenience stores around. You have to go to Monopoli for this (it's best to rent a car for the week anyway so you can visit the area). As much as some members of the staff are very friendly, others barely respond to you.. (breakfast room)
Overall, we experienced much better for less money. Positive point of the hotel: the rooms are correct.
A big thank you to Trips.com for their follow-up during our stay and their professionalism because the costs to be paid in addition to the price already paid are not mentioned anywhere when you book on the internet regardless of the site.
Una struttura veramente eccellente sotto tutti i punti di vista,ma un doveroso e sentito ringraziamento lo rivolgo per la cordialità e l' accoglienza ricevuta alla new entry barista,la signora Nunzia.complimenti vivissimi
We were not picked up in the hotel despite the time we had warned and we went with a baby at 23.30h. We picked up that hotel for that service and we had to pay a taxi
Very nice hotel and very good location.
Quiet place, close to the Sea.
The employees are very friendly and professional.
The breakfast is very nice and we can chose between Italian and Continental menu.
The food is fresha and very well cooked.
Posto incantevole, tutto molto bello.
Starting with the reception, Ludovica was very polite and kind, answering all my questions.
The hotel is well located, very close to the historic center with private parking, which made things much easier.
The hotel is modern, new and very clean.
Good breakfast included.
And a nice surprise was having 60 minutes of free spa time. A very pleasant space.

Very Good
GGuest UserI think this is one of the best facilities in Salento. Lecce is a wonderful city and the Hotel offers you everything you want to stay in peace
I also enjoyed the restaurant, good local food and well worked by the Chief.
RRenee GartnerThe location is right on the waters edge, with the perfect day beds to enjoy the ocean front.
The room is very generous in size, although we had ongoing issues with the airconditioning and it may be an Aussie thing - but no iron and only the option to wait 24 hrs for “laundry” if you needed anything pressed as it’s deemed a “health issue” to have one in the room. (Not ideal when you’re living out of a suitcase.)
The Hotel prides itself on ‘being green’, but it just felt like that was an excuse to cut corners on the what they offer.
The bikes on offer - were more like they were picked up from a thrift shop - but worked for a morning to travel a little further around the corner.
Be sure to enjoy the insane sunsets!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel was in a good location close to transport and shops. The hotel was clean and well cared for. I really enjoyed breakfast. There was a very wide choice of both hot and cold food. The breakfast staff were very helpful. The staff at the reception area were very good. I particularly want to thank both Frederica and Claudia for their cheerful and friendly way they went about their work. Checking in and out was easy. They were always willing to be of mservice. The room was comfortable, but an added touch such as tea and coffee making facilities would have been good. If and when I come to Bari again I will have no hesitation in staying there again.
MMartinJohnOverall I would give the hotel a 3+ rating. It's not a four star as there are too many things that let it down. The staff are great especially Betty on Reception and Mohamed the Restaurant Waiter.
Areas that need to improve are room cleaning - we had a problem with ants so had to change room. The second room was okay. The music in the restaurant and pool area was boring on repetitive. I appreciate they have a theme but they need a bit more imagination and encourage the guests to enjoy themselves.
Ppaulrob200A very comfortable stay at the BellaVista. It lives up to its name with superb view of sea on both sides from the room, which was very spacious! Breakfast was a very basic continental one with limited options. Located 200m from the old town area with has Beach of Purity. Plenty of restaurants around making location perfect for a relaxing few days. Didnt check out the rooftop spa.
Photos are of castle which is directly opposite hotel and beach nearby.
GGuest UserVery well kept hotel some 5 kilometers from Giovinazzo so a car is mandatory. Charming common areas, standard rooms without charm but very clean and comfortable: good bedding, bath towels changed every day and efficient air conditioning. À to know: no real beach. I recommend for a short stay like ours.
GGuest Userthere was no hot water on the first day of our stay. and the lady at the front desk let us waited for 20 minutes or so in the room without a reply. we asked again and she said there was nothing the hotel could do. the way this staff handle this minor problem just made worse!
hotel room was dim. bed mattress was not comfortable.
the gentleman serving the breakfast food has good manner and responsible.
KKITAIt was very close to the station and was served in a friendly atmosphere. Nice breakfast restaurant!
I stayed in a room with only a shower.
You can rest assured that hot water will come out well.
GGuest UserThe hotel breakfast is very rich and the dining environment is also very good. It is suitable for business trips and the price seems to be okay. The place is small and it is still very crowded at 9 o'clock. I had to find another way to extend my stay. I got a room. The front desk customer service was still very responsible and serious.
SSunOur first trip to Puglia. The hotel is in a very upscale rural setting. We had a very nice villa with a private pool and our own outdoor terrace. The property offers lots of privacy, not a big hotel feel, but a private villa along a golf course vibe. It is located between Bari and Brindisi, very easy to get the different towns in Puglia.
