The hotel is in a great location, not far from Cologne Cathedral and the city's commercial streets. There are Starbucks and McDonald's nearby, as well as a Chongqing noodle restaurant that is very suitable for Chinese stomachs!

Check-in was done via touch panel, but a staff member was there to help me with each step. I was also given a free city ticket, which allowed me to travel to Dusseldorf for free. The room was spacious, and the view from the window was beautiful and amazing. Thank you!

The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were all friendly. The bathroom even had a bathtub, so I enjoyed a relaxing bath. The bed was comfortable, the view was beautiful, and I was completely satisfied. The hotel was also filled with Seo's works, which was truly stunning. If I stay in Cologne again, I'd definitely book here again.

Absolutely recommendable! we got a nice size room on 7th floor to the rear (overlooking the train station was not an issue for us since an overnighter only and we had only 200mtr to walk for our Dinner Yes, it is next to the train station and together with 2 other hotels. but can't hear anything. We choose this one because it offered best price and 2 breaky includ the room price. for us travelling by car was also convenient to drive to the hotel and park the car very close by

Great place to stay..just above the station with mere minutes to walk . Nice room and splendid breakfast offerings. Room does not provide toothbrush 🪥 so bring one . No slippers if you feel that you need.

Extremely peaceful place to relax). Clean room, warm, soft bed, private garden.. and more. It's a pity we didn't try breakfast and dinner. I hope to come back and make up for lost time!)). Good luck!

The hotel is on the court and it is a bit noisy to meet the ball game on weekends. The room is more spacious. The restaurant downstairs is good and the service guy is very warm and thoughtful. A little far from the train station, it takes more than 20 minutes to walk. There are many small restaurants in the surrounding streets.

Located in the center of Essen, next to the Christmas market and not far away from a pork knuckle shop, the hotel is very spacious and clean. The lobby also provides some drinks and desserts, as well as a bar.

Wirklich ein super Hotel mit nettes Personal.  Schöne Betten sauber Zimmer Stilvolles Bad. Nur ein Kühlschrank mit Getränke fehlt auf den Zimmern.

Overall a great hotel.room size was good.location was excellent.breakfast was probably one of the best we have experienced in Europe. One downside was the disappointing so called fitness suite..im sorry to say a treadmill,a couple of exercise bikes & a multigym doesnt really add up to a suite.. Also the changing rooms need addressing as there was only 2 booths to get changed in.. Still 9/10 for the Martim Hotel Koln..
