Nice , upmarket hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Shower wasn't properly sealed and let water out in the bathroom which was a bit annoying. The hotel has a good gym and swimming pool. Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed for one out of our two day stay because they had to clean it and they didn't let us know in advance which was annoying too. Good breakfast

The hotel's parking facilities are quite spacious, located on levels B3-B4, and very convenient, with staff on hand to guide vehicles. The location is superb, too. Public transport is easily accessible, with direct bus routes to both the airport and Ta'er Monastery, costing just a few Yuan. A taxi to the airport is also very affordable, usually around 20-something Yuan. The lobby boasts a sophisticated decor. The majestic eagle sculpture particularly caught our eye and was a big hit with the kids. Check-in was seamless, and the staff were incredibly attentive, even offering thoughtful touches like local souvenir fridge magnets or small dolls. All the service staff were very considerate; they were proactive in assisting with our luggage and escorted us to our room. A huge plus is the unlimited complimentary bottled water, which they replenish as needed – a truly thoughtful gesture given the dry local climate. The breakfast spread on the second floor offered a wide array of choices, catering to both Chinese and Western tastes, with a good selection of lighter options, pastries, and fresh fruits. While it was a slight disappointment that only instant coffee was available, the variety of milk and other beverages was excellent and much appreciated. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Nothing but amazing! The hotel is clean and the staff are really nice! The room that I got is spacious and the bed is very comfortable! Highly-recommended! The location is also near to the railway station and there are a lot of shops nearby! It's also beside the Bank of China! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The rooms are gorgeous - really nicely decorated with lovely comfortable beds. The staff are also exceptionally helpful. Xiaotian from the Guest Service Center very efficiently located an item we had left and arranged to have it mailed on. The doormen were also very willing to help with bags and help with communicating with taxis. We loved our stay here.

I thoroughly enjoyed yet another stay at Qinghai Hotel. The friendly bilingual staff went the extra mile bringing my luggage to the room and making sure I was comfortable. The bright clean room, beautiful view with snow capped mountains on the horizon, varied buffet style breakfast with both Chinese and Western cuisine, as well as a long soak in the tub - all these made me regret that the stay this time was only one night.

It was midnight when we arrived in Xining. As the starting point of the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop, we had a good rest. The new hotel has a little smell, but it is fine once the fresh air system is turned on. The breakfast is not suitable for southerners, it is simple and not suitable for this star rating.

Hygiene: It's clean, tidy and comfortable. For a person like me who has high requirements, it's really impeccable! Environment: Overall, it’s pretty good. There is a good smell of perfume in the hotel lobby and room corridors, which makes people feel very comfortable😌 Service: I called the front desk to ask for a cup, and it was delivered as soon as I finished speaking, very efficient and fast! Haha, very satisfied Facilities: There is a laundry room where you can wash clothes 😉 There is also a gym, etc.

The hotel is located at Xining Dazhizi (Grand Crossroads). While crossing the main streets via the underground passages was a bit inconvenient, many attractions are within walking distance. The in-room oxygen concentrator and humidifier were very helpful, especially for those arriving in high-altitude Xining on their first day. More drinking water can be requested from the front desk. Based on past reviews, I had mistakenly assumed there would be complimentary afternoon tea, late-night snacks, and small gifts. The buffet breakfast was crowded, offered limited variety, and the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. Every day, the 17th-floor conference room hosted many elderly individuals attending lectures and receiving gift boxes. The lobby manager clarified that this was not a pyramid scheme and had been officially registered. During my four-day stay, the air conditioning hadn't been activated yet, but they promptly provided a fan, which largely resolved the issue. Room 2216 offered views of Gongchen Gate and Beishan Earth Tower Temple, while the 17th-floor restaurant overlooked Phoenix Terrace at Nanshan Park and Nanchan Temple. Taxis are easily accessible from the hotel. Finally, a big thank you to the lobby manager for proactively helping me with my luggage. Thank you!

The hotel is centrally located, facing the central square. Room windows offer stunning views of Xining's city center. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, including a large Sharp TV. The bathroom is spacious, with separate wet and dry areas and a TOTO automatic flush toilet. The lobby counter is stocked with bottles of mineral water and a variety of fruit for guests to enjoy, a truly impressive touch. The breakfast is plentiful and high-quality. The staff are especially welcoming, proactively inquiring about service needs and offering recommendations, a truly valuable touch. The front desk staff are equally proactive and service-minded. The front square is spacious, with free parking, and the security guards are friendly and attentive. A gas station is just around the corner in the alley next to the hotel, making refueling very convenient.

Clean and comfortable in a convenient location. Only two complaints, first somebody left a note (in Chinese) saying that they had washed my socks and they were damp and hanging up when I returned. I am sure they meant well, but I found this creepy and violating. I wasn't aware that it was necessary to specify that hotel staff should please not touch my clothes while I am away from the room. Complaint two is very minor, from the reviews I read I had the impression that the breakfast provided at the hotel was exceptional. It wasn't awful, but the paper cups, limited options and bread situation (it was yellow!?) were disappointing
