Choosing Fraser Suites was the best decision for our Dalian trip; it truly elevated our travel experience to new heights. The hotel boasts an excellent location, not far from the airport, Tiger Beach, and Linjia Beach, and is extremely close to the ferry terminal, which made traveling with our child very convenient. With direct access to a shopping mall from the fourth floor, dining, shopping, and even grocery runs were incredibly convenient. Our room was clean and tidy, featuring a comfortable king-sized bed in the bedroom, which was perfect for our family of three. After exhausting days out with the kids in the summer heat, being able to do laundry right back at the hotel was an absolute godsend. We will definitely stay here again next time!

As good as always, the hotel is very quiet, the breakfast is also good, the chicken soup with alkaline noodles is really good, there is a small flaw, that is, the thermal air conditioning efficiency in the room is not very good, not too hot, the hotel needs a little attention.

In my opinion, this InterContinental doesn’t measure up to others I’ve stayed at across China and the world. While the staff were excellent—accommodating late check-out and communicating well in English—the hotel itself felt old and worn out. My biggest letdown was the massage place (not hotel-operated), which was downright disgusting, offering inappropriate services that tainted my entire experience. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was very good (especially the pork sandwiches), though overcrowded—avoid peak times if possible. The gym was decent, and the views/location were great for my trail run. A special shoutout to some outstanding staff, like Karl and Vincent—wish I could remember the others' names!

Overall a good place with a bright design. Location is about 20-25 minutes walking from the train station or 15 minutes from the metro station with a direct link to the airport. It is foreigner friendly, since the friendly staff knows some English or tries to communicate via online translator. The bed was very comfortable, Aircon worked for cooling, WiFi was fast. Two minor flaws: drainage in the shower didn't work well and there was some weird smell in the room when I arrived, but nothing too serious. The breakfast is not a buffet. You'll be served a tray with some food as shown on photo. If you like chicken feet and a prawn in rice porridge for breakfast, you'll love it :) On the flip side, they push you hard to leave them a 5* review when you check out. They even have a special manual for that in several languages. This spoils the overall good impression. In any case, I can recommend this place.

The hotel is located about a 5 minute walk from the Zhongshan Square Metro. Breakfast served was good with both Western and Chinese menu. There is also freshly brewed coffee available from the machines apparently dispensing Luckin type coffee. The laundry facilities are a little old and you have to pay for its use. There is little food outlets around the hotel. The room is reasonably sized but the bed mattress was a little sunken for my liking. Overall it's a reasonably good stay. It would have been better if the hotel wil get a new refurbishing.

The room offered excellent value for money considering both its size and location. I booked a double room, which consisted of two connected rooms—one as a living area, leading to a bedroom, and then to a bathroom with a dressing area. Overall, the space felt much larger than what was stated in the listing. The hotel is conveniently located within a 5-minute walk from the shopping street and the subway, and it's also within walking distance of Shenyang Railway Station. The interior had a classic hotel style with warm, muted tones. Despite the traditional look, the room and its amenities were well-maintained and not outdated. There were even two televisions provided. At a price of 400–500 CNY, I found this accommodation to be an excellent deal. It would be hard to find another room that offers such great value.

Very good location near the big shopping mall and Labor park, a lot of stores, restaurants and cafes around. Clean, good internet and TV programs

The good: great location, next door to two malls, lots of good food options nearby, free laundry and dryer on-site, and there's also a small gym The bad: Security: there are two sets of elevators, only one set of elevators require keycard to access the hotel floors, the other set of elevators do NOT require keycard, a rando on the street can walk in and access the hotel floors anytime of the day Smoking: despite the no smoking signs inside the hotel room, the hotel is full of cigarette smell, even the hotel staff smoke on the hotel lobby floor (the night staff does anyways) Shower: bathroom and shower is separated from the rest of the room by frosted glass, so if you are traveling with friends and/or family, they will see the silhouette of your body when you are showering, and I mean they will see everything, so do not stay here if you are traveling with family and friends

The hotel is near Zhongshan Square. There is a big logo at the door. It is very easy to find and convenient to the station. You can take the tram or subway to get there. The taxi is also the starting price. There are many restaurants near the hotel. There is a big supermarket opposite. It is also close to the shopping mall. The air conditioning in the room is very warm. The housekeepers replenish the supplies in a timely manner. The service attitude of the sisters at the front desk is also very good. They are very enthusiastic and there is 24-hour hot mineral water. It is very cost-effective in the same hotel. The environment is good, the service attitude is good, and the attitude of the front desk is very good! I often stay at their house. Knowing that we are old customers, they helped us upgrade.
