This hotel could be spectacular, the views around the hotel are stunningly beautiful but the property has been left to fall into disrepair. There has been no upkeep, the property needs a power-hose, paint & revamp. It is very unstaffed, leading to less senior staff running around trying to do everything. For example when we arrived there was no one to help us with our bags or greet us at the door (not really 5 star experience), the kids club is unstaffed, had to wait 20 minutes for someone to arrive at the pool bar to make me a drink.. don’t bother with the breakfast it is very poor quality, the noodle soup is the best option but hard to eat as the breakfast room is not air conditioned so it is boiling hot in there! The shuttle bus service was great & I liked staying out of town as lying by the pool was very tranquil. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Aman is the best hotel in Luang Prabang. It is located in the center of the town. It is a 5-minute walk to the Foreigner Street Night Market. Aman's service is impeccable. Breakfast and dinner are all served at the hotel. The quality of the catering is online. I participated in the hotel's charity and Mekong River cruise. It costs extra but the price is acceptable. You can use the hotel's electric car to pick you up anywhere in the town. In short, Aman will take your vacation experience to a new level.
The hotel reception was polite and enthusiastic, the room was quite comfortable, I am more particular about the bed, but the mattress here is very comfortable, the hygiene is also good, the breakfast is rich, there are all kinds of fruit drinks, I stayed there last year, this year they changed the boss, he is a Chinese, communication is much easier
My parents liked the rural-style, yet rustic look. The swimming pool was clean and the room condition was satisfactory for the price.
However, even though it was well past the check-in time, the room was not cleaned, so my parents had to wait for an hour without being able to eat, and they behaved somewhat incomprehensibly, such as asking to exchange the old dollars that someone else had paid for new bills. In the first place, they took other guests' old bills. I'm not a bank, so why are they asking me to exchange it? Other than that, everything was good.
The hotel facilities and services are very good. The room is cleaned very well. The breakfast is very good. The waiter is very polite. WanWan is in charge of my sales. He patiently answered my questions and helped me recommend good travel plans and arranged to send me to the station. My family and I stayed for three nights. It was a very pleasant experience. The only thing I want to remind everyone is that 1) the hotel is a bit remote and not on the main street. If you miss the shuttle bus, you have to take a taxi yourself. 2) They will entertain Chinese and Korean uncles and aunts, and sometimes it will be a bit noisy. 3) The dinner I ordered at the hotel tasted good, but the quantity was small and the price was expensive. Overall, it was very good. Recommended
Staying at this resort was the last stop of our Laos trip and we spent a very unforgettable two nights. We liked it here better than the hotels in the town. Room equipment: We stayed in a tent by the river. We had to zip it up when entering and exiting to prevent mosquitoes. In addition to asking for a toothbrush, we had to ask for it from the front desk. There is no phone, all communication relies on the resort's own app, and other facilities are complete.
Activity experience: During the stay, I paid to experience kayaking, sunset cruise and massage. The experience of kayaking is great. The guide is very professional and the scenery along the way is beautiful. It takes two hours in total and the price is 25$/person (excluding service fee). The sunset cruise is a long-tail boat. There are only guides and boatmen, and there are no other tourists along the way. The scenery is quiet and beautiful, about 45 minutes, 18$/person, including a cocktail. We also experienced the 42$/person boat ride on the Mekong River. In comparison, each boat has its own characteristics.
Catering: The vegetables are all grown by ourselves, the prices are reasonable, the taste is very good, and the Western and local cuisines exceed expectations.
Travel: The resort is close to the airport, a ten-minute drive from the town, and a 20-minute drive from the train station. There is a free tutu bus to pick up and drop off. The frequency is not too many, and there are also motorcycles for rent (of course the price is much higher than in the town).
In short, if I come to Luang Prabang next time, I will still choose this place.
