We had a wonderful stay!
The hotel was clean, the staff was attentive, the amenities were top-notch, and the pool area was a great place for our kids. We would definitely stay here again.
As seen from reviews, we drop by a supermarket stocked up before dropping at the wonderful resort. Everything here is good but aging but the rooms are well maintained. When we reached, we were given a choice paid to upgrade to Tirta beach side. Which is the better side. Loved the island bar during evening but the menu is limited, so is the over price japanese restaurant and the main restaurant. Only thing good was it open 24HRs and the food / B'fast was just OK. The only Mart was not opened. Maybe it's open only on weekends. During low tide you could see alot of crabs n fishies. I advise you to visit a supermarket before you check in and check with them about what activity you are kin to do.
I travelled with my dad for a 2 day 1 night trip to Batam. Upon arriving at the Radisson Golf and Convention Center Hotel via Grab, it took about 15 minutes from Batam Center. The reception check in was seamless, and the staff were very polite. However, the lift sensor didn't work very well when pressing the button.
The amenities were good, but it would be great to include items such as a comb or cotton buds. This wasn't my first time staying here, but I hope for some upgrades of the bathroom or better cleaning, as noticed some signs of aging.
Hotel breakfast had a wide variety of options, which was impressive. Additionally, the massage services at the hotel were excellent.

Overall, it's clean, has running hot water, and the food is OK. But once you factor the price into it all, it really isn't worth it.
What's interesting about the hotel is that it's on a property shared by 3 hotels at different price points. This includes the restaurants and the beach. Only 6 sun umbrella covered lounges on the beach itself, so there are not enough seats for those wanting to hang out during the day. The restaurants were also super busy as a result, leading to less than average service and waiters running between the bar and kitchen.
The breakfast location is shared by 2 hotels, and if I was staying at the more expensive one, I'd be pretty annoyed. We stayed over a public holiday weekend and had to wait 15 minutes for a table because it was so busy. The gym is not worth writing about (but you do get free fruit).
What I will say is the staff are trained to always greet you with a smile. Even after you've made a complaint about waiting so long for your breakfast!
If you have a long weekend to spare, go to Thailand.
Great location in the heart of Harbour Bay downtown with many eateries and entertainment outlets. Just beside ferry terminal. Enjoyed the swimming pool and gym. Breakfast spread was good. Staff are friendly. Few downsides, no bathtub in room, many crows near swimming pool, run out of pool towels when requested and staff forgot to serve me coffee during breakfast (staff asked if I wanted coffee).
Away from the world, beautiful scenery, friendly staff, honest islanders, delicious food. If you want to hang out for two days and want to avoid popular areas, this is an excellent choice. Thank you to all the staff

Had a wonderful stay! They have a free shuttle service to and fro BBT ferry terminal, checking was also straight forward and the room/hotel was soooooo beautiful. Side facing the pool gets afternoon sun, direct access to the beach. They were also quite full for the breakfast buffet, but instead of making u wait, the opened up the meeting rooms and set up a second buffet line, excellent use of space and planning! You can also walk to the nearby local resturant/ice cream place, the ”shopping plaza” is quite dead but got when u want to take a walk. Also can walk to the lake/reservoir, nice to stroll when the sun is not so hot, it's very beautiful too
I chose Montigo Resort Nongsa to celebrate my partner's birthday, and honestly, they made it special. I left a note mentioning that it was my partner's birthday and the team truly went the extra mile to surprise him in the evening with a birthday cake with candles all ready, and even a sweet ”Happy Birthday” spelt out with flowers on our bed. It was such a thoughtful touch, huge props to the team for that effort!
The view from our private pool at night is stunning. It was so peaceful with sky full of stars and we were able to see the lights of Singapore across the water from our room. The resort location isn't exactly convenient as it sits outside of the Batam central area where all the malls are at, but this is definitely the place for a quiet and chillax weekend getaway.
The only thing that wasn't quite perfect was the breakfast spread and water. The breakfast was below standard type of bad in terms of taste and available selection for a resort of this price point. More importantly is that we did notice quite some small black bits floating around in the pool, and the water for the bathtub had this yellow tinge (we leave it running for 20 min and it's still slightly yellow, and the water flowing out turned cold after 20 min). Although, these weren't a huge deal-breaker cause both of us don't use the bathtub, but it's something I think the resort should seriously look into if they are positioning themselves as a high-end resort.
Overall though, despite that the issues, our stay at Montigo Nongsa was fantastic. The amazing service, especially that lovely birthday surprise, and those incredible nighttime views completely won us over. If they can just sort out the water situation, it would be absolutely top-notch. We're already thinking about when we can plan our next visit!
The tent-style room is relatively cozy, and listening to the sound of the waves at night is very helpful for sleeping. However, the drinking water provided is too little, and another bottle of water has to be purchased for 10 yuan. Toilet paper is not provided, and there are no slippers and hairdryers.
Facilities: Apart from the rooms being okay, the plank road is a bit worn out and feels unsafe. The lake in the middle is actually not open for swimming. I suggest the boss to get a swimming pool to be more practical. It is really frustrating that you can't go into the sea or swim on the island. The sand on the beach is relatively fine, but it is covered with weeds and garbage. No one went for a walk on the beach for three days. The panoramic view and the publicity photos are too different. It has blue sky, white clouds and white sand beach. If you want to go there, you must know about it. What time is the best time to pick up the boat? Don't locate the hotel because there is no road to get there. (It is best to reserve a WhatsApp number. The hotel will inform you of the boating location and precautions one day in advance)
Service: The service staff is quite enthusiastic. The island only provides breakfast, and the prices for ordering lunch and dinner are relatively affordable. Excluding the room fee, meals and massage, the extra cost is just over 1,000 RMB. The massage with oil is very comfortable and costs 100 RMB an hour. Overall, compared to other island tours, it is very cheap.
Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. They offered nice cool pineapple drinks on arrival, and offered to bring up any extra items we needed, like towels and pillow. On the next morning, cleaning staff even combined our single beds to become a larger bed.
Only downsides were that the hotel felt a little old and the pool was small and just next to the celebratory area. The gym is functional but rather small and some machines were not working well.
Love the way they are sustainable in using a carafe for room water and using the water filling machine. Tiny things like the slightly larger toothpaste and single use tooth brush is nice.
