I took the train from Manhattan to Waterbury. After getting off the train, I walked along Grand Avenue for about a few minutes to the hotel. I came alone to attend my child's graduation ceremony, and I didn't have high requirements in all aspects, so the Marriott hotel fully met my needs. Because of the language barrier, some issues were communicated through Ctrip customer service. I felt that Ctrip's butler service was timely and effective, and I was satisfied.
Everything went well until the second night we found the room was not cleaned when we came back. We stayed in this hotel in 2019. It seems after Covid the hotel service has been declining quite bit.
The room was clean, brightly lit and suitable for work. The reception was very warm, there were many varieties of breakfast, and I would visit again for my next trip!
The room is large, comfortable, and a good experience. The surrounding oxygen is also sufficient. There is a supermarket nearby, which is also very convenient. I will continue to stay next time. It’s also very convenient to take the train to Manhattan, haha, perfect
Breakfast has porridge, fruit, vegetable scallions, various milk, yogurt, juice, hot coffee. Suitable for travellers. The location is super good and direct access to Bradley International Airport. It is convenient to take a taxi. The hotel has a shuttle bus. The service staff here are enthusiastic, serious and capable. Can solve practical problems and think for the passengers. Many thanks to Tyler for helping me and my children, and wishing Tyler and his family and colleagues a good job.

and the man in the reception gave us a phone no to ask them how to solve the problem instead of doing it himself.

GGuest UserThis hotel had a big open lobby with a bar and plenty of areas to use laptops or to gather in small groups.
Convenient parking in a garage was located below the hotel. The elevators were extremely efficient. We were on the 8th floor and never waited. The hotel staff is hard to reach by phone but when we arrived they happily let us check into our room a little early. The beds are very comfortable and very high! The tv remote is odd and we had to call to figure out how to use it. Early morning coffee urns were late to arrive. The hotel is very close to I-95 which was helpful.

DDawnThis was exactly! What I needed! The establishment was decorated beautifully for the Holidays when I walked in! Staff Josie whom I had spoken to on the phone to confirm,was very pleasant and helpful. My room was clean, and spacious. Bed was Sooo comfortable. I utilized the amenities, pool ,(heated) and sauna, and gym, and topped it off with breakfast in the AM! As you can see,,I was very satisfied! Thanks for asking!🌹

Jjenny94The location is good, and the parking lot (24 dollars per day + tax) is right in front, so it's convenient. There's a water purifier, so you don't have to buy water separately, and the room and bathroom are also spacious. It's close to downtown New Haven, so it's good for walking around the neighborhood and taking a walk. The staff is friendly, and there's a microwave on the first floor, so you can cook simple meals. Except for the fact that there's no swimming pool in the hotel and the room cleaning takes a long time, this hotel is satisfactory in terms of location and facilities.

GGuest UserChoose it mainly because it is very close to a certain MGM, and it is very convenient to pick up and drop off children. It takes about ten minutes to take Uber to Yale University. There is a small kitchen, you can simply burn some noodles yourself. But the room always feels a bit smelly when it opens, and I can't feel it after staying in for a long time. Overall, it's okay, much cheaper than hotels in Boston.
