Booked here for the last night. The scenery is very nice. It has a different smell on cloudy and sunny days. There is a swimming pool by the sea. You can snorkel and provide masks and snorkels for free. There are many fish. It is the only one on the island. It is very quiet. The room is spacious, but the smell is a bit strong. The water is yellow. Overall, it is good. The service of the staff is satisfactory. There is not much communication. It feels like you live on this island by yourself. You can eat by yourself when it’s time to eat. Maybe this is a vacation? The only very bad thing is that I contacted the hotel by phone and emailed many times before checking in, but I didn’t receive any response. Because I have to take a boat to the island, there is a pier address, but even though I asked the locals, I couldn’t find this address. I tried to contact the resort but didn’t get any response, which led to a long search for the pier on the day of check-in. No one will take the initiative to contact you on the day of check-in.
It's an old hotel, however I love the classic design, the staffs are very friendly and helpful. However it's normal in an old hotel, the smell of old carpet and unsatisfactory shower may bring it down it's value. Overall it's a good experience
its very strategic location when you transit at kota kinabalu international airport.just 5-8 minutes distance from kota kinabalu international airport to this K avenue when not the traffic jam period.its only Rm6-Rm10 by Grab Car👍
but this time comfy house looks like abit disappointed🤔️ the bathroom is really smell bad and few cockroachs at the basin😨and the one who live to the next door is noisy at midnight time, cant get a good rest for me and my family when we have an early flight at 7am.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sky Water Villa in Semporna. The villa is beautifully designed and impeccably clean. The king sized bed was comfortable, ensuring restful nights under the stars. One of the highlights of the stay was the all-inclusive buffet dining, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. The afternoon tea with snacks was a lovely touch, providing a perfect mid day treat after our island hopping and snorkeling or hiking. Free wifi available at the restaurant and lobby area.
The staff were exceptional, friendly and accomodating.
A standout feature was the free use of snorkeling equipment and life jackets. Although the area around the villa does not feature coral reefs, the sand bank during low tide is a unique experience. It's a perfect spot for a leisurely walk and to observe the stunning starfish scattered across the shallow water. During snorkeling, we also spotted some sea turtles, some colourful fish and even swordfish. The reef is only near the jetty area which is very deep and has strong current.
We had a relaxing and wonderful time living over the ocean with a touch of adventure. Highly recommended!

Rooms are clean. Room is nice and spacious. Facilities like the gym and pool are sufficient. Buffet breakfast was as expected as well. Basically a you pay for what you get kind of place.
If you’re the type of traveler that likes to enjoy the hotel amenities and just chill there then this is a good place to go to.
Has a very nice Chinese seafood restaurant located behind the hotel. Also for supper you could head to the fried chicken fast food restaurant behind the hotel too which is open 24 hours.
Parking is free for guests who are staying.

It looks better than on photos. The room is clean and spacious with balcony, toiletries and towels are provided. And, It comes WiFi and Netflix ((:
Nice infinity pool. Will be better If they have proper pool side chairs and pool towel.
Do note the hotel does not provide breakfast, however can order food or travel out to eat.
Location is near beach, away from KK town.
Very beautiful yard and wooden house, surrounded by palm trees and grass, very photogenic, there are also several very well-behaved dogs, always clinging to people, and love to sleep outside the wooden house at night. The boss is Chinese, and he is always willing to help. When I first arrived in Semporna and didn't eat, the boss gave me his snacks directly. Free pick-up to Semporna town every day, although it is several kilometers away from the town center, but the environment is really incomparable to those homestays in the town.

It was a wonderful place to stay with a family of 5. The place is nice and and clean. Bed is comfortable. Host also helpful and they allow us to check in 4 hrs earlier from the normal check in time. This is the first apartment that offers such a good service. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. May your business blooming. 🎊
We loved our stay here at Santiri Island Resort. We celebrated our 10th year wedding anniversary and it lived up to our expectation. The resort was beautiful, it was small and intimate and not many rooms, which we enjoy because it limits the crowd on the island. It really felt like we had the island to ourselves. The picture doesn't do its justice. You need to go there to see it for yourself. The resort is unique as it has a sandbank when it's low tide, good for pictures taking or taking a stroll. The food was delicious and you could also get them to cook your seafood that you buy from the sea gypsies. They will try their best to entertain your request. You can snorkel, kayak and paddleboard around the area. The corals are very nice here. The staff here was very helpful and friendly, I would like to thank Dato' (owner), Mandy and Sam and other staff for your hospitality. We Will definitely come back here!

AAnonymous UserChecked in for my inlaws and was greeted by huzaifah/khuzaifah. I dont know how to spell his name, all the receptionist was not wearing name tags. So bgini, all three counters got 3 to 4 people in each queue. I lined up at huzaifah’s counter. Teruk betul service dia bagi. Mmg dari guest depan2 sya pun sya perasan juga dia pusing sana, pusing sini. Masuk pintu sini, kluar pintu sana. Balik2 ahh. So sampai turn sya, macam bingung2 dia. Duluu check in yg bulan 12 tahun lalu pun dia x bagi resit security deposit. Bila sya tnya kau x bagi sya ka tu resit, tidak kmi simpan dia bilang. Sekali check out, kena minta. Nasib okay juga. Masa tu baru sya faham la dia baru kerja sini. Next time memang sya pgi tmpt dia seja la. Laju dan senang berurusan. Boleh multitasking dengan baik. Please do something about this. Tq.
Ssophianeo89We had a wonderful trip at Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort. The room was clean and well managed. The customer service was great. The water pressure of the shower was strong. The pool amenities were great. Overall, we enjoyed staying at this place.
GGuest UserMy partner and I just had three nights in a Palm Villa at Gayana Marine Resort! What a place to stay…. Simply amazing!
Right from the start everything was perfect. We arrived at the ferry and the staff were really helpful. The ferry left on time and took less than 30 mins. On arrival we had cold towels and a drink. Everything was fully explained by the staff and we were taken to our room about 30 minutes early.
The Palm Villa was gorgeous!!! If you can spend a little more and have this room it’s worth it!! I was speechless when I walked in. Super clean and tidy! The online photos do not do this resort justice!!
We ate at the Macac Restaurant. There was lots to choose from on the menu and everything tasted fresh and delicious. Breakfast is included and everything was made fresh to order. There was also a buffet which had pastries, fruit, cereal and lots more!
We made use of the water sports which are also included. We used the kayaks and paddle boards. Lots available and you just turn up and ask, no need to book!
Every single member of staff was lovely!! Everyone greets you, is very polite and they can’t do enough to help. Their English was impressive!
We had only booked two nights but loved it so much we extended our stay!!! I highly recommend this place and hope the management see this review to pass on to staff. Thank you. Tasha & Chris.

GGuest UserReally lovely, they prepared extra amenities for our anniversary, the hotel made some decorations, and did not need to put down extra deposits which is very convenient while checking out too. Offer by the hotel for Trip.com customers are a lot too. Highly recommended.
LLimThe only reason I stayed here was because of it location near to the airport. Everything else is good in terms of experience except I was imposed with liability costing RM10 for soiling one piece of their towel. The soiling happened because I walked outside after the rain and my foot got into a mud spot. I came back to my room and I accidentally stepped on the towel. Bear in mind, I had to book their largest room meant for 4 pax because that was the only one available even though I stayed alone. Considering the occupancy is low for that large room, soiling one piece of towel does not justify a RM10 liability damage.
GGuest UserThe hotel is clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. Unfortunately, during my stay, the hotel was undergoing maintenance, resulting in no hot water for two days. Housekeeping kindly provided hot water upon request. The complimentary breakfast could use some improvements — the coffee machine frequently ran out of water, causing long waits, and the food quality could be better. Overall, still a pleasant stay and I hope these issues will be addressed.
