Former 々 I stayed for 2 nights with a high-rated review. The staff was very friendly, the facilities were substantial, the cleanliness, the breakfast buffet and the word of mouth were wonderful. I think it's a quality that's not surprising even if it's double the price. If I dared to be worried about only one point, there were group guests who seemed to be salaried men and students of sports club activities, but they talked loudly in the bathroom or sauna, and after the sauna, they didn't even hang water. I'm in the cold bath I saw several insane people, such as making noise in the hallway. I think this is not a hotel problem, but a customer problem, but on the assumption that some people are such insane, they should be warned especially to group guests at check-in. I hope you will write an easy-to-understand note in the bathroom. I will use it when I go to Sapporo again. Thank you very much.

The hotel is very convenient, it’s close to metro susukino station exit 4 within 3 minutes walking distance. Many local restaurants, shopping centres, shopping area and department stores nearby. And tons of convenient stores as well. The most grateful is one of the front desk staff Miss Tsutsui, she just tried her best on my missing parcel to figure out where is it, she did find out finally! Thanks for her kind assistance in this matter! Highly recommended this hotel in Sapporo!

This is a splendid hotel. The staff are top class, nothing was a problem. It's very close to Sapporo JR station. The property is immaculate, it feels like brand new. Our room was typical Japanese, cosy 😉. We used the laundry and it was spotless too. Well worth booking this hotel 5🌟

The first one wasn’t that effective as it is an A&E with no children doc to prescribe controlled ***** for a 4 year old as i was told. My special thanks to the hotel staff and really appreciate their help and support. In all my years of travelling for business and leisure, this is top notch customer service that makes a huge difference to receiving customer and guests. Parking - 2000 yen for 2 days but note extra charges if you exceed 12pm. We pay 800 yen for 2 more hours of parking.

The hotel is in a quiet district, 5 minutes walk from Metro Nakajima Koen station. The nearest with elevator is exit 1. Also the hotel provides free shuttle service between Sapporo Station. The breakfast is yummy with scallops.The front desk is always being welcomed and there are 2 convenient stores within 5 minutes walk. Highly recommended to business or leisure travelers.

As a Dormy Inn Premium, the food was excellent. Breakfast had a good spread of fresh sashimi and other traditional japanese options. The public bath was well maintained and as always the free ramen and ice cream round up a great day. The location is just across the Otaru JR Station and a 10 minute walk to the Otaru Canal.

We stayed in a triple room. There was a extra rolling bed in addition to two twin beds. So, the space available was very limited but we still managed to tidy our three big suitcases. Staff were nice and helpful. The breakfast was great, with wide variety of choices, all the attractive local dishes were there, namely sashimi rice bowl, soup curry garaku, Japanese BBQ Yakiniku, soup ramen, cream puff, ice-cream...The free lobby drinks was also an extra bonus but it would be perfect if they could also provide in-room coffee or tea.

The staff at the reception speaks fluent English, which is good. Sth dramatic happened after I checked in. Somehow my suitcase cannot be unlocked,though I knew the key number. So I had to call reception for help, luckily they do have the tool to open the suitcase, but I was told to wait because someone else were using it and I was supposed to be called after the reception got the tool. Waited whole night long, with no phone call, and had to check out the next morning with my broken suitcase. So if you find your suitcase cannot be opened, go find reception immediately or u might not get the chance to use the tool, haha

As mentioned by many, the location is ideal, smack in the city center. Near Odori park, lots of restaurants around, shops and things to see. To make justice to the hotel, despite not having its own car park, now it's possible to add into the bill the parking service in a multi storey car park just opposite the street (some reviewer mentioned in 2017 that the hotel had no car park, but facts change along the time, so the truth is that now there is a parking facility, as close as possible, just need to cross the road). Now, being a good place and having a decent room (not spacey but it seldom happens in Japan), would make it an ideal place to choose, being even fairly priced, wouldn't it? Well, there's a but (as in the title of the review): one of the worst logistically organised bathrooms that I've ever found - and I've seen many in 27 years of travelling around Asia. There a not-so-tiny step to take from the aisle and the bathroom. As you try to enter, the WC occupies almost all the space till the wall. So either you try to jump over it (starting from a lower level, remember the step?) or I set one foot in the minimal space available and then you turn like a classical dancer to try to bring the rest of your body (other leg) inside and step in front of a weeny sink. Same ordeal to get out of the bathroom. Imagine doing this when you're still moist, after a shower. Maybe I was just unlucky with the room I was assigned to. But there should not be any architech who studies - and then decides that it's good enough to use it without being a breakdancer - such an unpractical configuration of bathroom. The other - minor - thing, is this (but it does not really bothers me much): having placed the ”make my room” magnetic sign to the door in the morning, i came back at night to find an odd black bag hanged to the outer handle. those were two clean towels. Nothing had been touched inside the room, bed undone as I left it, dirty, damp towels still in the tub. Well, an odd interpretation of what make my room means... Other than those two things, a good place to be. I was there for 3 nights and I paid the same amount (for the whole stay) of one night in Tokyo (ok, it's Roppongi and I know it's as dear as hell!). But if you get there, make sure to see the bathroom configuration, before checking into a room!

I used JR INN for the first time. JR Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo has used it. I stayed at a railway hotel for railway fans, but I was impressed this time. From the single room I stayed in, you can see all the vehicles coming in from the top of Hakodate Station platform. If you thought you could see Twilight Express and Hokuto Star in the time of running on the bed, Cassiopeia came in. In addition, the timetable is posted on the top floor bath, and the train is seen while bathing. There are many books related to the railway in the rest place, and you can know the history of the railway in Hokkaido. At the entrance of the hotel, there is a head mark such as Hokuto star, and the track is drawn on the floor, and it is a hotel that is not able to be caught in the railway mania from the moment when it enters. Very close to Oodori Park where the Christmas market was held. Happy with the stay. Plus point- AirPort Express bus just outside the hotel..

It was safe even if it rained because there was a building ”Japan life Sapporo building” with the entrance and exit of the underground passage at a distance of less than 1 minute walk from Sapporo Station. The hotel room is clean and spacious 々, the hotel has a dripping coffee with the tea of the serving building in the room for the first time. I had a morning ... I regret that the seafood bowl was delicious and delicious and I should have eaten the seafood bowl before eating other dishes and then go to take other dishes. It was so delicious that I felt like I didn't have to go to Nijo market to eat seafood bowls. The public bath was also very beautiful, and the staff was in and out at a considerable frequency, so it was easy to speak when I was in trouble. When I checked at the morning bath, I am considering the ”probancia” of the pelican soap now! I left my luggage when I checked out for a walk in Sapporo, but it was convenient for the self locker type that the cloak chose and stored the password number by itself in another room. I was satisfied with everything. I think I can go to Sapporo again or go to Solaria in another travel destination. I will add a nice smile of the word. I will go to stay again.

Very clean, parking space just outside the hotel, close to the main street where all the shops are. The room was very nice and cozy, view from the room is great. Top floor has public bath with great view, it’s very convenient that you can check from room TV if public bath is full or not.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean and offered a stunning sea view. Guests have free access to the hot spring facility, which was a delightful experience. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and offered a variety of delicious options. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near the morning market, making it easy to explore local offerings. Highly recommended!

Hotel location is amazing, room is clean, staffs are helpful, the only downside is the parking, was told by the staff that parking space is small might not suit our rented mpv car. So we have to park at open car parking nearby costed 700 yen a day.

The best thing about this hotel is its location as it is very close to the train station and to the restaurants and pubs of Hakodate. The twin room we booked was very basic, with enough space for two big luggages to be opened fully. Unfortunately, there is no free parking space as you are asked to pay for parking fee even in their designated parking spaces.

There is a small mall with quite a number of small restaurants for convenient meals. The hotel location is walking distance to the morning market for fresh seafood, sashimi etc. many small restaurants and there is a food court inside the indoor market. Its also walking distance from the JR station.

Unfortunately our train was cancelled due to weather conditions. We end up only stay for a night instead of two. Didn’t get the chance to use the ryokan. Great location. Next to morning market and walking distance too most of attractions.

We stayed at Century Marina for our first night in Hokkaido and originally chose it for its proximity to most of the sites we wanted to see in Hakodate. It's just a few minute walk from the train station with plenty of sidewalks so pulling our suitcases was no issue. The hotel also has a large parking lot if you choose to drive. It's also just a few minute walk from the warehouse district and the older area up the hill where a lot of historical embassies and churches are. The hotel's breakfast buffet is an experience itself with an extensive spread of both Japanese and Western food options. You will reserve a time slot when checking in, but even then you should expect a 10-20 minute wait in the morning to get your table, so its best to go up before your reserved time. This hotel also has one of the best rooftop onsen I've seen, with wonderful views of the whole marina and hill. When booking I didn't realize there was a hot springs so this was a nice surprise. Our room was right next to the elevator but very quiet and clean. This is a newer hotel too so everything felt very fresh and well-maintained. We checked in using Japanese, but the hotel has check-in info packets and signs in English so this is a good option for non-Japanese speaking guests as well.

Toyoko Inn has two branches around Hakodate Station, ”Hokkaido Hakodate Station Front Gate” and ”Hokkaido Hakodate Station Front Chaoshi”, of which ”Hokkaido Hakodate Station Front Chaoshi” is close to Hakodate Station, about two minutes walk. ”Hokkaido Hakodate Station Front Gate” is about a five-minute walk, in fact, it is quite close to Hakodate Station, it is a convenient and affordable choice for accommodation.

I used it for the first time. A luxury hotel, breakfast is a special mention! We chose Japanese food in Azeria for the first night １ and Matsumae for the second night. At the buffet, there was a heap of salmon roe that I had never seen before, and I was able to make a super gorgeous seafood bowl, which was really amazing. ２ Matsumae on the night was also a very nice set, and I chose the salmon roe set, but this is also super satisfying. My friend was Hitsumabushi set, which looked very delicious! The room was large and well maintained, and it was good because it had a long-established style plus modern functionality.

Very convenient location, connected to JR Asahikawa. However room is small, if you have more than one big luggage and it will be quite challenging to open all the luggage at the same time. There is a big sitting area at the lobby where you can enjoy complimentary coffee and tea, next to it is a small library.

I love how convinient the location is. It is basically just outside of the Asahikawa station entrance, next to the bus stations and opposite the Aeon Mall. The room is clean, and it is comfortable. You can rent many items from the hotel for free ex. Pillow, charger, luggage rack... I enjoyed my stay there and have good nice sleep! The price is cheap too. Totally worth it! If you choose no cleaning service on daily basis, they give you free drinks! I chose Beer and Tea I also love the window that can open and the view from the window. However, the toilet is very tiny. I feel ”cramep”. I am 160cm and I doesn't feel comfortable to take shower in the bathtub. I almost touch the ceiling. The towel rack is also too tiny that can hardly hang your towel or clothes. Maybe suitable for small kids. LOL. It got ”plastic cracking sound” when I step in the bathtub for shower. The entire toilet feels like a plastic Lego toy ”stuck” to the room. Cute. LOL. Acceptable. I think they should add some hooks in the toilet to hang our items. The sound proof not sure if it is good. I don't know why you touch or hit the wall it make a huge sound. Like when you take the hanger, it will easily hit the wall board and produce large sound. When you take shower, you will easily hit the wall too. So I always heard those sounds from the next room. Not noises of speaking or music etc but the sound of hitting something. Thank God no noises in the midnight.

Hotel is very new and clean. Come with large public bath and free drinks. The hours to excess onsen is amazing. Cheick in/ out like a breeze. However the hotel is with high occupancy and sometimes take a while to get a lift. Long wait for laundry service too as the machine is always loaded. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will recommend to any travelers who visit Asahikawa!

I originally liked route inn the most in the business hotel chain. If you are traveling alone, you don't have to be so careful. Japan is grateful that clean business hotels are developing to medium-sized cities. However, in Honshu, route-in is often difficult to use by rail (car location), but in Hokkaido, route-in is often in front of the station, so it is easy to use. When you leave Asahikawa Station, which creates a comfortable space with plenty of trees, you can't get lost because the route in front of Grand Asahikawa Station rises in front of you. On the left side of the station, there is also an AEON MALL equipped with a cinema complex, so you can enjoy buying souvenirs, buying travel supplies, and watching road show movies on your travels. The good thing about the route inn is that you can watch paid satellite broadcast WOWOW for free on the TV in the room. The front desk is on the 3rd floor. It is not open 24 hours on the first floor (business hours 7:00 ～ 22:00, closed on January 1), but there is a convenience store ”Seiko Mart” with many supporters in Hokkaido. The lobby on the front floor is very large. After checking out, I adjusted the time here because I had a little time to get on the train. Isn't it convenient to meet in Asahikawa, which is exceptionally cold in winter? People may have different tastes, but I can sleep well in the route-in bed. I think it's because it's not fluffy. It depends on the location of the room, but from the room I stayed, I could see the train departing and arriving at Asahikawa Station. There is Tenjinkyo natural hot spring ”Traveler's Hot Spring” on the 17th floor of the top floor. The big bath stretches your legs and heals the fatigue of the trip. I entered twice at night and in the morning. The hotel has a large communal bath of another major hotel chain in Hokkaido, and the rooms have only a r shower booth, but it is also good to have a bathroom with a bathtub properly. It's not a special luxury hotel, but I think it's the best hotel as a business hotel. I think it can be used for business, sightseeing and multipurpose purposes. Next time, if you have a chance to come to Asahikawa, this is the hotel you want to choose first.

Good hotel. Helpful staff. Comfortable bed, but unfortunately the pillow didn't suit me very well. Onsen👍🏻 Breakfast is excellent, the view from the restaurant is gorgeous. Convenient location - 3 minutes walk to the train station. The room was very warm even without air conditioning, although it was -13 outside. Of the shortcomings, perhaps, there was only a window overlooking a fence and a wall of the building (we lived on the 2nd floor), but this is not critical.

I stayed ２ nights with my husband and wife to meet my friend in Asahikawa. It was very good, so I think I will be here next time I come. First of all, it is good to have a hot spring bath. This time it was summer, but if it was a winter snow season, I would like to thank you for the bath. It is very good to be able to sleep slowly in the public bath, not the unit bus in the room. The large bath was large and there were many washing places, and it was very comfortable. I was able to experience it this time with a ticket for rock bath. It was crowded on weekends, couples in semi-double rooms ２ names and less 々 narrow, but still, the compact room was easy to use, there was no trouble, The breakfast venue was comfortable to sit immediately without waiting. The breakfast was delicious. I go to the country and stay once, ah, this is good If you think, you will always stay there, but this hotel is exactly that hotel. The response of the employees was very pleasant. I would like to stay next time.

Managed to get to the hotel at 10:30 and grabbed some free ramen. Enjoyed some nice time in the onsen and had ice cream after. Had some yoghurt in the morning before leaving. My favourite hotel.

It is a little far from the station, so it is convenient to move by car. However, there is no parking lot in the hotel, and it is no problem because it stops in the parking lot nearby and ticket processing is done. There is also a supermarket about 5 minutes walk.

Spacious room, children went on the tatami sleeping on the futon. Lots of storage space too and plenty of amenities. Free coffee in lobby was nice and fresh from beans. We rang reception at 130am as next room guests were too loud and they resolved it. Close to JR train and bus station. Happy to recommend. Hotel tried their best to help make our stay comfortable.
