Rooms are away from main lobby, some may require buggy service, or mini bus. Do inform the staff is require assistance.
Efficient service provided. Food option nearby is limited.
There’s a Barelang seafood restaurant 10minutes walk near the resort, price is very reasonable.
Stayed only 1N. Wished it was longer.
Booked 2 twin rooms for a girls’ trip.
My friends were pleasantly surprised with the “birthday cake towels”- such a nice touch .
Tks Oakwood for the thoughtfulness and memorable stay.
The hotel is fairly new. Some teething issues (ie unclean cups, shower tap was faulty, key card couldn’t work due to battery issues etc) - which is expected and quickly resolved.
The staff from front desk, concierge to F&B - they were all friendly and hardworking, with a desire to go the extra mile. Bf at the hotel was relaxing with a nice spread.
My friend left something in the room. We contacted the concierge, who was was very prompt and kind to retrieve it and help explore ways to return the item. We were v grateful and impressed by the excellent service.
The hotel’s location is superb. Next to the Grand Batam mall with lots of restaurants, big supermarket and shops. It was also opposite the wet market and surrounded with many spa options.
We all agreed that this hotel must be one of convenient places to stay. We’ll be back with more friends next round. Tks
Hotel is 10-15 minutes drive away from mega mall and grand Batam mall. Grab is easy to get. We didn’t take it but the hotel also offers shuttle to the malls which was nice. We chose the location for the view away from the city buildings! Saw they had a small soccer and archery area, good for kids. Room was alright, nice view. Great gym, breakfast, and reception service from Mr Hary!
This is not my first visit to Turi Beach, and like every other time, I loved it. Turi Beach is not the most polished, glamorous resort, like you would find it on Bali or other islands, but it has its charm that is mostly appreciated by regulars. The breakfast is very good, plenty of choices, and an amazing panoramic view of the Straight. On the other side, you will see Malaysia, and to the left, Singapore. The Gazebos received new matraeses and head support cushions, and I totally loved these. I also used the restaurant several times, and everything is yummy, served with a big smile!

We had a lovely trip with the family over holidays in Oct 2024. We were upgraded to a pool villa and used the pool to splash around and have nice family time. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean. Service is great. The food in the restaurants was good but a bit on the expensive side. Overall an enjoyable trip! :)
Stay a night here. Entered the room at night so everything was kinda dark. Turned on all the lights and still not as bright as I woulda liked. Big room, a bit old , but all the essentials are there and then some. All in all it was great value for the money.
Loved the washroomo and the shower. Great hot water and towels. Old school, Old fashioned , but I don't mind (because I'm old).
Sorry, forgot to take pictures, but check it out for yourself if u in Batam and like the Nagoya area.

A Nice ambience relaxed resort. Room looks exactly like the posted photos. Got a small kitchen. Quiet on weekdays. Shower water pressure is strong and service crews are warmth and friendly. Arrival pickup and drop off saves a lot of hassle. Far from city. If you have a few days in Bintan, you can book a private one day tour which will bring you to various sightseeing spots. Guests from Cassia can use swimming pool and spa facilities at Angsana resort.
Breakfast at Angsana Resort - Lotus, quite a good spread. Lunch at Vista within it's own premise - fried kway teow is delicious and dinner at Xana, western grill meat and seafood near beach - Pizza and Lamb chop is great (if served on hotplate will be perfect cause food went cold pretty fast 😅).
Cassia has also some activities set each day, guests can sign up with friendly front desk. Next to the swimming pool, there is a game corner, for playing chess and snooker. Also a turtle pool not far away, children will be delighted to see turtles swimming. Great place to stay for a few days.
New hotel but many rooms for improvement. Pillow case is stained upon check-in. Door lock malfunction on second day and they took quite a long time to fix it, with my room left opened. There’s loud drilling on the second floor due to renovation still ongoing. My baby sneezed many times at the lobby. There’s no hair conditioner. Phone also cannot work to call other rooms, reception and housekeeping. Bathrobe is smelly. Room facing a construction site. Unfortunately both side of the hotel rooms facing construction. Site. Location is quiet though which is good for sleep. Room level is by card access only so better to get same level if you book a few rooms. Car park security guards to ensure safety. Breakfast is good with a wide selection of food. Porridge is good and noodle soup. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
The breakfast is the best with a wide selection of western, Asian and local delicacies. The location is super convenient as the hotel is just above the ferry terminal, you walk about 2 minutes from terminal to the hotel lobby. The room is very comfortable and spacious, had to request for late check out coz room so comfortable don't want leave. Batam Marriott is truly a top shelf 5 stars hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this resort. The food was delicious with a good variety to choose from, and the room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The service throughout my stay was warm and attentive — the staff were always friendly and helpful.
The location is definitely a highlight — it's just a short walk to Plaza Lagoi, and the views are stunning. I especially loved the beautiful sunrises and sunsets, which made for some unforgettable moments.
The only downside was the check-in process. I was hoping to settle in earlier, but unfortunately didn’t get access to my room until after 5:30 pm, which was quite late. Hopefully this can be improved for future guests and my future stays.
Overall, a great experience and I’d love to return!

SStephanie Ann KesslerStayed at The Residence over 3 day.l Staff attitude was good all round - everyone took ownership of their respective roles from the concierge through to Front Desk. Despite the distance from the ferry terminal if you come by BBT, The Residence is self-sufficient w activities for adults and kids. It's tranquil and a blissful sanctuary for a restful break. You could also arrange excursions through the hotel. Rainy season is from Oct to April. Check out activities thru WhatsApp comms. Take the provided bicycle or just walk through the farm and ask the staff there about feeding chickens, rabbits and Tilapia. Or understand the role of the farm in relation to the restaurants. Nothing is perfect but you'll definitely be won over by the earnestness of the staff.

We reach hotel by 2pm and able to do an early check in the Hotel is well maintain and looks just having some partial interior renovation and room is so spacious and the hotel surprisingly you may choose smoking room and non smoking room during check in. this hotel outside view mayb is not as good as other brand new hotel facing nice sea view etc but but this hotel ambience really make me feel welcoming safe like a home with a great staff from a front desk reception, chef until a housekeeping a so polite. We requested a smooking room and surprisingly even a smoking room the room doesn’t have any weird smell i know because im not a smoker so i can differentiate 😅. The room is so spacious among other big brand hotels in batam and at town area that can i mention so worth the price and the hotel does provide some hotel which is gym, pool, spa and cafe like other hotel. whenever we keep on in and out the whoever stuff that saw us will politely greet us wherever we are. On the next day we went for breakfast located at 1st floor, that a 3 people st the front then one of them guide us to the table while walk to the table they explained to us where and the food located. On that morning the restaurant was not so crowded i guess due to low peak season or fall on weekday so everything went smoothly and calm untill we do for check out and whenever i go back to batam again I look forward to stay in sheraton with different room type thank you for having me on my short trip !
TThomas96My friends and I recently stayed at Nagoya Mansion Hotel and Residence, and overall, it was a satisfying experience. The hotel is in a very convenient location, just a short walking distance from Nagoya Hill Mall, making it ideal for shopping and dining.
The room facilities were average but adequate, and the cleanliness was up to standard. Although the absence of a hairdryer in the room was a minor inconvenience, the friendly and professional staff more than made up for it. They were very accommodating, even arranging for us to check in early without any additional charges, which was greatly appreciated.
Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. The hotel’s convenient location and excellent service make it highly recommendable to others. With some improvements to the facilities, it would be perfect!
GGuest UserNot much activities for kids below 7 years old. The beach is very huge. Kids had lot of fun. And the room come with big jacuzzi, kids love it very much. The food just so so, we ordered bbq for last night. But we ate inside the room coz scared of mosquitoes
GGuest UserThe rooms were spacious and Montigo kindly provided a free room upgrade for our trip :) as a result, my parents really enjoyed the private swimming pool and the view as they are not comfortable swimming in the public pool.
Sahrul our receptionist was very kind and helpful. Riyan who was driving our tram was warm and friendly which made our trip better - we always looked forward to meeting him.
The staff were warm and friendly + there was sufficient space to get food.
The staff at the spa were very understanding when I had to change treatment due to my sunburn and were flexible in making concessions.
MMrSenThis could be a 5* thing, for now it feels more like 4 to 4.5 * for me. Let me explain.
First of all, there are many really big upsides for the Nirwana Resort:
- The hotel is in a wonderful location. The beach directly in front of the hotel is beautiful, however if you explore a little further, the beach right next (connected to some rentable mini-houses) is also part of the Nirwana area and even cleaner and more inviting for a direct swim.
- The room was even nicer than anticipated via the photos. Everything was tastefully designed, clean and room-service did a great job daily. The hotel itself is abut 35 years old, very close to the sea and constantly exposed to salty winds. It's just amazing that they managed to maintain the open-corridors in such a great condition. There's a lot of wooden features (which look really good imho).
- The staff is friendly and helpful. You will find plenty of activities if that is your thing.
Now to the kinda neutral part: Some of the in-hotel facilities were not available during our stay. For example to get to the gym you had to switch to another building a few hundret meters away. You still get everything you need, so it's not really a complaint - more a thing of convenience but since all the surrounding area is pretty nice I would recommend exploring a bit anyway.
The two main negative factors were:
- It's a very secluded resort and there is no normal supermarket or anything similar nearby for basic daily needs like water or what-have-you. This means you will need to pay mega-premiums. 1 L of water costs over 100k Rupias or about 7 to 8 USD. A small bottle of coke is about $3.5. Same goes for all other snacks, drinks and foods. They are very overpriced, just because you don't have a choice. Another example: A pizza + a ”gourmet” burger were close to $50. I wouldn't even complain if it was really ”gourmet”. However not even close: You can eat both, it's not terrible but it's very basic, the pizza too dry and kinda small, the burger the most boring I had in years and not great beef at all.
Same goes for all the other food we had in the in-house restaurant. It's not bad but every dish feels like something is a bit off or missing or just very basic. Especially for the premium price you pay this seems not right.
There are two more restaurants within ~1km walking distance: An indian restaurant. Pricing is on the higher side but more reasonable than the indoor restaurant. Tandoori chicken was over-spiced (not hot just too strong taste with nothing to compliment it) and very dry/boring. The infamous butter chicken was great, though. I would recommend the ”Spicy restaurant” (4 stars) but make sure you get something with sauce.
And then there is a seafood restaurant. It's really pricy (especially when compared to seafood in Batam for example) but you get an incredible fresh and well seasoned fish/crab/prawn selection that makes it worth 100% to visit. Also the view is fantastic.
I actually would rate this whole experience 5 stars - if you would get the basics (water, coke, some smaller snacks) for a fair price; right now this part feels a bit like a rip-off.
Also, local taxi service is a bit over-priced, same goes for activities. I really don't mind spending more, but there needs to be a balance where you don't feel taken advantage of.
If you don't care about that, I would fully recommend the stay at Nirwana Hotel.
AAnonymous User”Our stay at Asialink Prasanthi was absolutely fantastic! The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and great amenities.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience.
The hotel's location was perfect, from the distance to major attractions, and the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of delicious options.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nagoya Batam
LLee ChingIt’s our first trip to this resort and we are really impressed with the place. There is a free transfer from nongsapura ferry terminal to the hotel even when we arrived on the last ferry. All the hotel staffs we met are friendly and helpful even though some of them do not speak/understand english very well. We booked the room with sea view and the view is beautiful. Lounge has live band till 12 midnight as well. There’s also room service for food till 9pm and the food is nice. The complimentary breakfast spread is not too bad as well. We will definitely come again. My emails to them are also replied promptly.

VVincent GiangI had a great two-night stay at Alltrue. The staff were friendly though not of them can speak English. The location was peaceful, and the room was spacious and clean. Facilities like the spa, gym, and sauna were excellent, and the buffet breakfast had plenty of delicious options. Highly recommended!
