The hotel facilities are relatively old, the breakfast is OK and quite rich, there is parking space, it is very quiet, the soundproofing is average, you can hear the snoring next door when you sleep, it is not suitable for traveling with children, but pets are allowed
A hotel in the suburbs, the environment is quiet and beautiful, but the front desk service attitude is average. They arranged a room for us at the door of the corridor. It was noisy when people passed by in the morning. In addition, parking is charged.
The hotel is dated and the floorboards creak everywhere.
Feels I bit like and old persons nursing home.
But the staff were excellent, every single one of them.
Stayed in a double suite… nice enough but that ain’t not suite. We had supper in the Lakeside restaurant on site which was good and reasonably priced but it was cold in the room and the food took ages to arrive… even though I only had a Caesar Salad !!
Anyway, we decided not to bother with breakfast but check out as well as check in was faultless.
The Spa / leisure club were quite simply dismal. The pool was Arctic cold, changing rooms “snug” and loungers awful.
Overall, the breakfast was OK. Although there were few choices, I had enough to eat. The location is good, there are large shopping malls and restaurants opposite, and it takes 10 minutes to get to the city center. There is also a large supermarket in isolation. The room is nice, but the lighting is too dark. Sound insulation equipment is relatively poor.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size and very clean, although as it was close to the spa you could smell a bit of chlorine but this disappeared quickly. We also used the spa after we checked out - it had a hot tub, sauna, steam room and swimming pool so had all the amenities.
Only downside was the corridors - could do we a bit of a refurb.
I had an amazing stay at De Vere Cotswold Water Park. The hotel went above and beyond by decorating the room beautifully and providing thoughtful gifts for our anniversary, making the experience truly special. The serene location with stunning views of the lake added to the charm. The excellent facilities, including the indoor pool, spa services, jacuzzi, steam room, gym, bar, and restaurant, made the stay incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. Every aspect of the experience was thoughtfully designed for comfort and luxury. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat.
I stayed here alone for business. It was a good location for me as I was driving somewhere the next day, but this hotel didn’t seem to be near anywhere so you couldn’t walk to a town or anything.
The room was nice, and comfortable.
The swimming pool was ok but the larger hot tub was cold in temperature in my opinion. I also didn’t like that the lockers in changing rooms needed a padlock to be used. As a hotel guest I don’t make a habit of carrying a padlock with me for use in a situation like this. So I had to carry all my stuff into the pool area rather than leave in the locker room.
The bar could definitely do with a face lift to make it a nicer place to sit in an evening, especially as there isn’t really anywhere else to go. The food I had was ok at best, breakfast was also good.
Friendly staff nice and clean and a quiet environment with a good parking area just in front of the Hotel 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 recommend

GGuest UserDelighted with our 3rd stay at this welcoming hotel in perfect location in centre of beautiful Cirencester. Enjoyed the most comfortable and well appointed room, bathroom and all amenities provided. Service is perfect, be it at reception, the bar or restaurant. Breakfast is always a treat, delicious and plentiful. Thank you all at the King’s Head.

GGuest UserVery British style, the room is very well decorated, and there is a radio📻! You can have an open-air dinner in the courtyard. The breakfast is rich and delicious! The check-in service is also very thoughtful, and you can store your luggage. It takes a few minutes to walk to the bus station and the train station. You can hike nearby, and the parks and country roads are all refreshing! In short, I highly recommend it!

XXiaofeixiangquanjiafuThe room was amazing. This is the cleanest and most beautiful country hotel I have ever stayed in. The service staff was very warm and thoughtful, the breakfast was delicious, and the room was very cozy and the furnishings were warm and beautiful! Highly recommended, and I hope to bring my children here to stay again!
GGuest UserGreat rooms. Great staff. Lovely location.
Drinks at bar exhorbitant price and restaurant food good but well overpriced.
Had a nice time but no Christmas menu on 14th December.
