Hotels With Breakfast in Trat Province, Thailand

First time book this hotel but many time visited koh chang. Hotel location is not really good in term of beach area. It is in between the exit point of a small cannel so whenever i want to get to the sea, i need to walk to the near by hotel to enter the cleaner water. Staff and service are excellent. Breakfast quality is pretty decent compare to other hotels that im visiting.

Superb hotel to stay in, very family friendly, beautifully appointed rooms, great facilities, clean and well maintained. The pool and beach are superb and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The restaurant food and beach BBQ were terrific. The children loved every minute of their stay. We loved the fact it was so safe for the children...always someone there watching the water ...both beach and pool. Highly recommended and the views and scenery were gorgeous after a heavy rain tho

The hotel has its own beach. Staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. There was a wide variety of food for breakfast. My room was spacious. However, so many ants were in my room. Water was not hot enough and water pressure was low in the shower. The bathroom had big glass window but the curtain could not be fully closed so that my friend could see me having a bath. TV had no signal so that I needed to ask the hotel to fix it.

Traveling to Koh Chang on Songkran Day, if the Accor Group uses benefits, it must be considered. Mercure Koh Chang Hideaway booked a Standard room but was upgraded to a Deluxe Seaview room and received Platinum benefits. Quite complete. The room is okay. I like it because I have to pay only 1,402 baht per night. The room is full due to a long holiday. I'm glad I upgraded. I have reserved 3 rooms, there are welcome drinks for all 3 rooms. For dinner, most of the guests leave their stomachs at the Buffet Hotel because it is Songkran Festival. Accor Plus cannot use the discount at all. The price is not expensive, only 530 baht per person, but.. Phra Chuay Thai food is delicious. Anyone staying here recommends trying Thai food. The happy hour here is satisfyingly long from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Anyone who eats the buffet will receive a buy 1 free 1 promotion until 10:00 p.m., very worthwhile. The highlight of this place is a lot of photo angles, and taking beautiful photos, but the beach is not okay, which is a weak point. The sea water is hardly played because there are a lot of rocks. I mostly stay at the swimming pool 100% recommend if anyone sleeps here to relax and snorkel on the last day, come back to swim at the pool, take chic photos and eat buffet 🙂 Breakfast is quite suitable for Thai people, focusing on spicy Thai food. It also has my favorite pizza. The hotel has a Starbucks on the beach but does not participate in a star or membership program. For me, April 13-15 is a rest day. I'm pretty happy here. Let's just say for Accor members or group members. If anyone comes to Koh Chang, recommend here. You can get both nights and points. If there is any problem during your stay, I suggest you don't wait, hurry and share with him. He knows the problem and is ready to take care of it immediately. Come to Koh Chang next time, Mercure is still our choice.

Simply unprofesional and incompetent for an overclaimed five-star hotel in terms of service standards. I booked it for two nights for my father on his birthday. Called them up from overseas to see if there is any small birthday surprise available for a 71 year old travelling alone. Shame on the front desk staff : The front desk PROMISED a complimentary birthday cake prepared in his room before he checked in. Yet there was no cake at all. I had to make another long distance call to further inquire, they still insisted they did put one in his room. Eventually I had to ask them to send someone up to look for the cake in his room, that was the time when they sent it up.. I fully understand birthday surprises are only subject to discretion. I WOULD NOT MIND AT ALL if they decline it in the first place. But if it has been PROMISED, do it right, not in a way that the birthday guy had to do a cake hunt in the room for a birthday surprise.. Shame on the management staff : After such an embarrassment made to their failing level of professionalism over an avoidable mistake, they moved my father to another room with just a twin bed two days later.. First, I am aware of the policy that a double bed was merely a special request upon an extended stay, yet with a handful of guests visible throughout the week in still the pandemic time, was it REALLY fully booked enough to run out of just ONE double bed ? Second, the management should have applied the service recovery concept (if available, like a double bed..) to this guest with whom their own front desk staff had ALREADY embarrassed the hotel over a minor PROMISE that was under delivered with their lack of basic competence in simply delivering one cake. Not only this hotel failed at managing customer satisfaction, they failed even worse at restoring it after their own fault. I will NOT recommend this hotel to anyone with an occasion to celebrate. The depth of their professionalism is only limited to checking guests in and out, with a smile.

Kho Chang is a beautiful island covered with trees, mountains and waterfalls. There are perfect beaches on its western shore. On one of these is Coconut Beach Resort. It's scale and architecture suit this island. Some larger hotels there might as well be in overdeveloped cities. Accommodation is in clusters of two-story buildings innThai style, grouped around a beautiful swimming pool and tropical gardens. There are trees on the beach with hanging swings and womb chairs. The restaurant has tables at the edge of the beach. The Thai food is delicious - seafood in red curry, whole fish simmering at your table, grilled prawns - and there are cocktails to complete the holiday treat. Service is friendly and efficient.

This place is heaven on earth! The welcome at reception sets the tone for the rest of your stay! We arrived with back packs from Pattaya and We were treated like VIPs. Absolute top class! Staff are amazing! Food was amazing. The rooms are outstanding and the local town is warm and friendly! The random visits from monkeys is an amazing addition! But be aware, they actually do creep up on you and open your room doors!! Staff aren’t joking! We’ve stayed on many islands and many places in Thailand but our expectations were exceeded here. The grounds are well kept, the surroundings are superb! My only disappointment was that the tides were high so we didn’t have any beach during our stay! (No fault of Sylvan!) I just hope the cost doesn’t get too high that they price us out of spending another break there next year!

The Jacuzzi in the room is not good as the water jet does not really hit on the body. Breakfast was very good. Location wise it is walking distance to most restaurants and shops.

We was going to book these bungalows for 8 nights but our card refused payment so we phoned the number on the website and they accepted booking over the phone with no deposit, best thing that’s ever happened to us We arrived at exotic bungalows to be meeted by Demitri who showed us our bungalow,straight away we refused the room dirty shower room ,no where to put clothes,stained sheets, he offered us a alternative room room if we waited for it to be cleaned of which we accepted it had a wardrobe to put our clothes it was still not worth what we paid During the night it rained and our roof leaked in, we woke to our wardrobe being soaked and a massive pool of water around our bed Our friends sat up all night with their roof leaking all over there bed In the morning we went to reception to ask for our money back but was told dimitri had gone to Bangkok for four days so no refund All of the photos on booking.com are deceiving please please don’t book this accommodation it will the worst thing you’ve ever done If you want more info you can contact me on macwaterfield@gmail.com

Part way through our stay the garden area suddenly became hectic with police, officials, surveyors and a number of completely hooded and covered workmen. Notices went up and the many posts brought in became a barbed wire fence stretching from the road to the beach, right through the middle of the complex. There was no explanation to the guests, we thought a repossession had occurred. There was an odd atmosphere. It turns out this barbed wire fence was probably the only fully functional feature of Cliff Beach. Much of the rest is not as advertised: Upper pool, half full, broken loungers, filthy abandoned bar, decking completely overgrown. No recent attempts had been made to manage the plants and shrubs anywhere, it all looked abandoned. The fish pond was rapidly drying out leaving the fish struggling in mud. Only a token effort was made to keep the amazing beach, clean and tidy. Most of sun loungers were perished and cracked. Too many rat holes and droppings. The ferol dog was a nuisance and ignored by the management. The kayaks were a disgrace and dangerous, even an hour hire would result in an alarming intake of water. This unknown made some people quite distressed on return. The Cliff Beach situation is amazing, huge potential but the ongoing advertising for evening entertainment is nonsense since its all cancelled, sometimes with lights out by 9pm. There is a lot I could add about the room but a previous person summed it up with her comment on the pool toilet, which remains disgusting and still has no flush. I think this hotel is surviving on a large number of Russian bookings.

The whole family went out during the rainy season, and basically soaked in wine. The service was good. Breakfast was served all day, from 7 am to 9 pm. You can order food at any time, and the variety is quite complete. The gym can see the sea, which is very unacceptable. The swimming pool has no lights at night, which is a bit incomprehensible. As for the room, the sink will make water everywhere when washing hands or face. The suite has a 270-degree sea view, but the room is not that big. Overall it is OK.

A very satisfying hotel. I stayed in Koh Chang for 4 nights, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with this hotel. The hotel is new, very clean, and the service staff is very polite. It's much better than that internet celebrity KC. The hotel is not big and the beach is relatively small, but the water is very clear. Recommended, next time I come, I will definitely come back and stay again

Such a good hotel, the score is so low ~ because I took my mother on this trip and wanted to go to some quiet resorts, this one was my first choice. Because it is far from the white sand beach, if you have a self-driving car on the island, I highly recommend you to live! ! Because it's so beautiful! ! The room is big and clean. Can't see the Chinese at all~ Stay in the hotel comfortably for two days, there are free boats to take you to the other side to play, and canoes for rent~ very good! ! It is highly recommended. I booked a big bed room, opened the door and found that the bed has to be 3 meters wide...very comfortable! Feeding the turtles every day, looking at the scenery, really comfortable. Without the hustle and bustle of the bustling area, since you are out on vacation, you always choose a few days away from the crowd. It takes 45 minutes to drive from the pier to the hotel~ Everyone should grasp the time~

Maybe the location and the pick-up by private jet and yacht will make the experience even more upgraded. The brightest point is that the hotel's breakfast is superb Environment: very good feeling back to nature Hygiene: excellent and impeccable Very satisfied with the 3-week trip to Thailand. Soneva is the best hotel I have ever stayed in in Thailand. From the environment to the service to the additional items of the hotel, I recommend everyone to go diving and fishing. The price is also very reasonable. I plan to go there again at the end of the year

At breakfast, staff doesn’t seem to be happy with what they’re doing and would sometimes ignore guests. The staff cooking the eggs were kind though. Resort also doesn’t offer ground coffee drinks so we got stuck with powdered coffee until we found out about the two coffee shops that are walking distance from the resort. Food can be improved too: breakfast’s okay but doesn’t offer diversity. You’ll get bored with the food after a few days. Beach and the sunset is marvelous though!

The hotel has not been renovated for a long time, but after the pandemic, cosmetic repairs and major cleaning are noticeable. Although the covering on the verandas still needs replacing - just nails are sticking out in places - the child was not allowed to run around there. The hotel restaurant is probably the most frustrating thing, the prices are super high, the quality of the food is low: for almost 500 baht (price 400 + fees + taxes), we got a pizza with a diameter of 30 cm from frozen dough. This is a fiasco, bro. In general, only beer and then for 150 baht. There is all the infrastructure on the road 800 meters away, including fruits and cafes and hardware stores, but 800 meters uphill) you can ask the hotel transport to take you there, but back on foot, albeit from a hill))) but with almost no lighting. Karrche needs to take a bike, 300 baht per day, by the way, it’s brand new. In general, for the experience of a paradise for 7900 rubles / night - it’s the best!

Resort is on top of a hill so no direct beach access. Closest beach is cococape beach which is beautiful and if you just go around the corner you will have a lonely beach with beautiful dark rocks stuck in the white sand. Another great beach is close to seavana and koh mak resort about 15 min walking. Motorbike rental is 250 baht per day and gas ablut 40 baht per liter. Massages are 350 baht per hour. It was the best massage I had in all of Thailand. Kayak rental can be done at cococape or koh mak resort. Hotel has a pick up service for free when you arrive at the pier. There are many live concerts at various locations on the island as well as fireshows and night markets. The resort itself is very clean, quiet, AC works fine and shower has hot water. Pool is cleaned everyday and breakfast was very good. Staff is super friendly. I paid about 90 USD per night which is a high price for koh mak, but compared to other resorts it is very high standard resort. Never had problems with sandflies (I stayed for 8 days) but I do recommend to take mosquito spray.

This place is a gem. Wonderful location, lovely staff and great amenities. My wife and I have stayed here twice and will stay here everytime we travel to Koh Mak. The one complaint would be that the outdoor chairs for the hillside units are very uncomfortable and definitely short on padding. My wife and I love Mira Montra and Koh Mak Island. We can't wait to return.

The resort has a stunning outlook onto the sea, great, but small pool, great rooms, some with roof terraces & is very relaxed. The restaurant's food is superbly presented, however unfortunately, the service is poor and let it down. Both times we dined there we had to go and find our own menus, noone brought them to us. The food took a long time to come and, though it was well-presented, some of it was cold. They forgot my wife's main dish and despite enquiring about it twice with a waitress who didn't seem to speak English and just giggled and walked off, it never arrived. This was really disappointing and marred our stay which would have otherwise been very relaxing. After we complain they did eventually apologise and discounted out bill by one dish but it wasn't great. The resort can arrange golf buggy hire for you to tour the island for 800 THB for 5 hours (that and 10 hours only options - no shorter time) which is worth doing. Also nice to walk out on the sand when the tide goes all the way out

The service staff are very enthusiastic. I am seasick and I asked them for a seasickness medicine.

Next door is a beach with a popular Instagram location - a palm tree in the water; you can only get there by kayak or boat. There is a picturesque coral reef nearby; for a nominal fee, the hotel will organize a boat transfer there to snorkel with an instructor. It’s definitely worth visiting the mini island next to the reef, where there is nothing but a cafe on the shore with local flavor - freshly caught fish, which will be immediately caught and fried, sea urchins, fashionable restaurants will wait - because chilling in such a place is a separate kind of pleasure and new impressions in the piggy bank are guaranteed. In the hotel restaurant, the kitchen cooks quickly, but the waiters are outrageously slow. And when ordering an omelet WITHOUT onions for breakfast, get ready to receive an omelet ONLY made from onions😂😂 that’s too salty) The humidity in such a place must be understood as high as possible; the bed is always damp. The bathroom is a let down, in the basement, a simple washbasin and a shower stick, no cosmetic accessories, in particular toothbrushes😳 Where to look for them, if you were hoping for a star hotel and didn’t take it with you, you want to ask the hotel about at least some stores nearby just sail on boats 🤔 On certain days, fire shows are held on the territory. 🔥We got there one day and really liked it. Well done guys! And finally the massage - it was amazing, rightfully the best in Thailand! They massage you in a separate hut overlooking the sea, this promotes relaxation, plus the masseuses are fluent in technique. You need to sign up very much in advance, that’s understandable. There will definitely be new impressions from visiting this place!

Une honte! Nous sommes arrivés à l’hôtel Suanya pour passer quelques jours au calme et dans un cadre idyllique. Malheureusement ce ne fut pas le cas…. À la découverte du cadre nous avons été enchanté cet enchantement s’est très vite transformé en déception puis en colère. En effet la chambre qui nous a été proposé se trouvait être insalubre! Elle ne se situe pas dans le complexe de l’hôtel mais à l’extérieur dans un bâtiment qui ne donne aucune envie d’y entrer! Aucune fenêtre, un « balcon » donnant sur les égouts! La salle de bain était le pire de cette « chambre » présence de saletés de moisissures et de rouilles sur la porte et la robinetterie! L’aération donnant sur les égouts des vagues d’odeur immonde imprégnaient la pièce, de plus la présence de trous laissaient tout le loisir aux divers insectes d’investir notre « chambre ». Le lit n’avait pas de couverture nous en avons demandé et nous avons eu le droit à un plaid et une serviette… Nous avons demandé au personnel de changer de chambre mais pour seul réponse nous avons eu « c’est complet! ». Le personnel n’a eu aucune considération pour notre bien être, peu aimable dans toute circonstances. Nous avons donc quitté l’hôtel plus tôt pour trouver meilleur et dans des prix similaires! A fuir!

The bathroom is a let down, in the basement, a simple washbasin and a shower stick, no cosmetic accessories, in particular toothbrushes😳 Where to look for them, if you were hoping for a star hotel and didn’t take it with you, you want to ask the hotel about at least some stores nearby just sail on boats 🤔 On certain days, fire shows are held on the territory. 🔥We got there one day and really liked it. Well done guys! And finally the massage - it was amazing, rightfully the best in Thailand! They massage you in a separate hut overlooking the sea, this promotes relaxation, plus the masseuses are fluent in technique. You need to sign up very much in advance, that’s understandable. There will definitely be new impressions from visiting this place!

Une honte! Nous sommes arrivés à l’hôtel Suanya pour passer quelques jours au calme et dans un cadre idyllique. Malheureusement ce ne fut pas le cas…. À la découverte du cadre nous avons été enchanté cet enchantement s’est très vite transformé en déception puis en colère. En effet la chambre qui nous a été proposé se trouvait être insalubre! Elle ne se situe pas dans le complexe de l’hôtel mais à l’extérieur dans un bâtiment qui ne donne aucune envie d’y entrer! Aucune fenêtre, un « balcon » donnant sur les égouts! La salle de bain était le pire de cette « chambre » présence de saletés de moisissures et de rouilles sur la porte et la robinetterie! L’aération donnant sur les égouts des vagues d’odeur immonde imprégnaient la pièce, de plus la présence de trous laissaient tout le loisir aux divers insectes d’investir notre « chambre ». Le lit n’avait pas de couverture nous en avons demandé et nous avons eu le droit à un plaid et une serviette… Nous avons demandé au personnel de changer de chambre mais pour seul réponse nous avons eu « c’est complet! ». Le personnel n’a eu aucune considération pour notre bien être, peu aimable dans toute circonstances. Nous avons donc quitté l’hôtel plus tôt pour trouver meilleur et dans des prix similaires! A fuir!

the location is super good, beach is clean and the water is super clear....the service is in the excellent level, all staff is so generous and entertaining. the only negative point for us is the bed is too hard, if u have back problem the bed will hurt you much. the rest is good!

Perfect hotel. Sweet staff, clean and good rooms, cozy little beach and nicely maintained overall, food was fine but not super. Very relaxing for few days before you travel on to places where a bit more happens if you need this. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this place !!!!

Medee is located on a beautiful beach with crystal clear sea where you can swim and snorkel super fine. The best snorkeling spot is in front of the Seafar neighborhood resort. However, the service is lousy. The people who work there clearly don't enjoy what they do. They are unfriendly and not welcoming. In the restaurant we had to repeatedly ask for things. The food is good though. We had to ask ourselves every day if our room could be cleaned. We had rented a cottage, but got a semi-detached house (number 17) with a small, dirty bathroom with a toilet that was wedged between the shower and sink (very inconvenient), shower with a measly trickle of water and a sink with little space. The front door jammed and we always got it closed with difficulty, the patio furniture was peeling off and the neighbors were noisy. According to the staff we had booked this. Our family had booked the same and had a cottage (nr 12) which looked much better and they had no direct neighbours. Avoid nr 17 and 18! We booked a 2 to 5 boat trip for snorkeling. They took us to 1 beautiful snorkeling spot and 1 mediocre spot. After an hour the skipper wanted to return to the resort. We alerted him to the time. Reluctantly he brought us back to the first, beautiful place. Finally, we were back at the resort a little after 4pm. We paid 130 euros (4800 baht) for 4 people. Very expensive for Thai standards. The next day we wanted to explore the island and we hired a taxi for 3 hours. At the start they told what they intended; visit a few places nearby. We wanted to decide for ourselves where we would go. No conversation was possible. So unbelievably sad. The resort is in a beautiful spot and cottages 1 to 16 look great. You can also eat well there. The restaurant looks desolate, as does the beach furniture. Much furniture is broken and/or flaking off. With a little more interest and effort they could turn this into a top resort!
