The hotel's location is super convenient, directly opposite the cable car station, just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel is very clean, which made for a great experience. The service was attentive, and breakfast was abundant with a wide variety of choices. Areas for improvement regarding facilities include: 1. Adding a few hooks in the bathroom. It's inconvenient to have to step out of the shower to dry off and get dressed. 2. The room doors are quite noisy when closing, and you can hear the doors closing from neighboring rooms. 3. The elevator wait times are a bit long, averaging 1-2 minutes. 4. The TV size could be larger. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

I arrived at the hotel quite early in the morning. The front desk staff were very accommodating, offering tea and candy. They also promptly arranged for housekeeping to prepare my reserved room, and I was able to check in around 9:00 AM. The hotel was easy to find using the directions provided. Since I checked in so early, many rooms hadn't been vacated yet, so I ended up in a room without a window, which felt a bit damp. If that's something that bothers you, I recommend mentioning it to the front desk in advance. The area around Wuyi Square has plenty of food options and is very convenient for transportation. For local restaurants like 'Ben Luobo,' don't be deterred by the long lines; you'll get seated surprisingly quickly, usually within 30-40 minutes at most, because they turn tables over very fast.

I rarely write reviews, but this time I really have to, because I'm so incredibly touched. I absolutely must thank Manager Lily for making our trip such a perfect experience. We were truly overjoyed, and because of that, my impression of this hotel is fantastic 👍: This trip was with my two elderly parents and a 4-year-old child, and I was genuinely nervous. Could I take good care of everyone? Would the journey go smoothly? Then, right at the hotel entrance, we met Manager Lily. With a radiant smile, she immediately offered to carry two large suitcases for me. She chatted with us all the way to our room, asking how we were, and once inside, she meticulously explained how to use all the lights and appliances. She even reminded us to close the balcony screen door to keep out mosquitoes. I was so happy and felt so warmly cared for – it was like drinking ice-cold spring water when you're parched, and the fatigue from traveling instantly vanished. After resting a bit, we were ready to explore the ancient town. It was our first time in Fenghuang, and we had no idea where to start. Luckily, on the first floor, Manager Lily had arranged maps and gave us a detailed explanation of a sightseeing route. She even arranged for the hotel car to drop us off at the entrance of the ancient town. And after we finished exploring, Manager Lily again arranged for a car to pick us up from the ancient town and bring us back to the hotel. With both elderly family members and a child, this trip was truly effortless and delightful. All my previous worries were gone, and the journey was completed perfectly. That's why I'm seriously writing this review. This trip gave me an insight: Beautiful scenery is certainly appealing, and hotels with elegant environments make you comfortable, but what truly touches people's hearts and makes them cherish memories is undoubtedly the most sincere service and the most thoughtful arrangements, making you want to stay forever 👍. We loved our short stay. Location is perfect as only few minutes walk to cable car station to visit Tianmen mountains. Local bus to Avatar mountains departs near the hotel. Plenty local food around as well as McDonalds and Starbucks round the corner. Room had nice bathtube inside the room which has nice views of surroding buildings. Will recommend staying in here 🙂

1. The room was spacious with high ceilings and an open feel. Stepping out, you're greeted by the pool and mountain views. 2. Breakfast was plentiful, a delicious mix of Chinese and Western options, perfect for fueling up before heading out to the mountains. 3. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the Mid Gate, which helps you avoid the crowds and tour groups typically found at the East Gate. This means no long queues, direct access to transportation, saving time, and avoiding stress – no need to wake up extra early during your vacation. 4. The owner was incredibly thoughtful and provided exceptional service. They helped us plan our itinerary even before we arrived. When the weather unexpectedly changed during our stay, they quickly adjusted our plans to make sure we made the most of the good weather. 👍

The hotel facilities are excellent, and the rooms are incredibly spacious, even equipped with a projector. The front desk staff are very welcoming; it's the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The service is exceptional. The breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options, including Changsha's special rice noodles, available until 11 AM – a lifesaver for late risers! The Huangxing Square subway station is right downstairs, making transportation super convenient for getting anywhere quickly. Plus, there's free laundry service, which is fantastic for travelers as it really frees up your hands. The only minor issues are that the soundproofing isn't great (you can hear people leaving the room next door or loud conversations in the hallway), and the air conditioning has a slight noise. Other than that, everything is perfect!!!

The environment is great, and the hygiene is impeccable. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic, helping me with my luggage to the high-speed train station and even booking tickets for me. The location is excellent, with convenient transportation. It's definitely worth staying here, and I'm very grateful for their help.

I want to take a moment here to describe one of my best moments with the staff from this establishment. Not only this place is located neitherly next to the fall for the best view; but they were always there to provide mewith the best care I also never experienced before from giving me a private tour around from themselves willingness, give me free liquor or drinks even if I didn’t want to some time.🤗. I got dressed up from his brothers shop; for me was an honour to be like having their cultural outfit for the day, show me the best restaurants around to taste the rich flavours of the region. And off course the incredible view at night from my balcony is unbelievable. This pale can receive sigle, couple and families. The room are rusting and very warm. It’s for me a 5 stars of the personality of the place and base on luxury. You won’t regret it! 👍🏼💝🙏

A hotel which is about 2 years old, everything is new. We were quite impressed with the smart controls in the room. We can command it to close the curtains, turn off n on the lights, ask about the temperature for the day etc. We opted for rooms with the mountain view and we could see it from the room window every-day subject to weather conditions. Waiting for the rooms when we arrived, the reception was very nice to explain to us in detail which route to take to tianmen mountain, zhangjiajie grand canyon, National Forest Park (Avater mountains). We decided to make our base at this hotel while taking the didi (1+ hr to n 1+hr back) to the grand canyon n national forest park. It is a hassle to travel around those areas with luggages. The cableway to tianmen mountain is 10 mins walk, very convenient. Be prepared to walk a lot. Lucky there is a foot n body massage on the 4th floor of the hotel. It was a saver to our legs after a long day at tianmen mountain. There were eateries around but we were not used to the spicy n oily food, the San xia guo is a hot item sold around there, we stayed away from restaurants selling San xia guo after one meal with it, we did not like it. We try to find restaurants with food that was gentler on our gut like haidilao n Korean BBQ buffet. There is a breakfast restaurant 5 mins walk from the hotel which is a heaven as the food is more to our liking, they even had fresh soy bean, dumplings, non spicy noodle soup. The hotel breakfast was not bad, good n light. Please get the meicha which is a herbal tea from zhangjiajie, good for relaxing before sleep and it is said to be good for the 3 highs. Available in the shopping areas, the store at the lobby of the hotel sells it too. Overall the hotel is clean, quiet, good amenities, good location, good views. Just a feedback on one morning where we out for breakfast and left our belongings unlocked, we put the not to disturb door sign on the door but the housekeeper came in to clean the room. Please inform the housekeeper not to enter the room when there is no instructions to clean the room on the door sign.

Traveling to Changsha, I was so glad I booked this hidden gem of a guesthouse on Trip.com. Its prime riverside location on a high floor offers absolutely stunning views; during the day, you see the sparkling river, and at night, the city lights across the bank. I'm a light sleeper, and before coming, I was worried about poor soundproofing in guesthouses, but my stay was completely free of noise disturbance. A special thank you to the lovely manager, Ms. Hu, for her warm and thoughtful service. She not only prepared alternative room options for me beforehand but also meticulously wrote down a list of restaurants popular with locals in the city and recommended souvenirs to take home. What really stood out was how Ms. Hu and Mr. Zeng from Siman (the guesthouse name) were at the front desk practically day and night, showing immense dedication and friendliness. They even proactively helped with laundry and drying, and folded it neatly before returning it. With beautiful scenery, excellent service, and a great price, our short three-day stay at Siman added wonderful memories to our Changsha trip. Thank you to both Ms. Hu and Mr. Zeng!
