I had a wonderful experience with Stay with Nimman in Chiang Mai. A very peaceful stay. Very clean room, plenty of amenities and a very nice place to stay over all. I had great food as well. I loved their spa and the massages I had were wonderful. The view from the roof was super cool, and the pool was nice. All hotel staff were kind and went out of their way to help me. Thank you for making me feel welcome and comfortable, Stay with Nimman!

The hotel is new, clean and friendly for elderly persons. This hotel provides a number of amentities and facilities. However, it’s rather far from the center of the city (about 15-20 minutes by car), so you should have your own car for convenience. Another problem is the pipe in the bathroom quite draining slowly.

The front desk lady and madam are nice and polite. They give us some suggestions for the foods and place to go. The room is not too big but the bed is comfortable. The only worst two points one is the hotel located under the airplane take off way so can hear the plane take off clearly even in the room and another one poor is the food that hotel provide don’t have too much selection.

This location is very convenient for travelers with a car. However, sightseeing in Chiang Mai's Old City may be inconvenient. If you plan to explore the surrounding areas with a rental car or a hired vehicle, you can avoid the congested roads of central Chiang Mai, making travel easier. Compared to hotels in the Old City, which are at the same price, the rooms here are twice as spacious, and parking is much more convenient. I used Grab and Bolt motorbikes to go into the city center for dinner, which cost around 40–50 THB per trip.

What a very beautiful place to stay in nature. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great too. My only negatives would be that the rooms were a bit run down and smelt very damp considering the price we paid for the plunge pool room. Also the plunge pool room doesn’t have much privacy as you can see your neighbours either side and the room above is set back. Also burning season slightly spoilt our trip to Chiang Mai as the air pollution made me have “hay fever” for the entire stay and it got worse the longer we stayed.

It was good except the hotel made two twin beds into a queen bed and the lamp shade was dangerous as if you slept there you would injure your head. We had requested on large bed, so we had to ask them to separate the beds this is not what we wanted as we are a married couple. Others then that the food was good and the room was clean and they had good facilities and the hotel in in the center near all amenities

I like the hotel but be ready that wifi doesn't work in the rooms , like many times a day its just disappeared so if you work online and you need a good connection thats a problem here . Also the romm was not super clean i found the dust everywhere. The location is perfect though its very near to the Pae Gate and a lot of places where you. can eat , the hotel is ok . To stay here for some days is totally fine .

Our family stayed here for 3 nights, room was clean and bathrooms was huge and very good and stable hot water. Breakfast buffet was very nice, especially the sticky rice and variety of dishes to match with. Hotel has a huge flower field (sunflowers and other) next to the cafe, serving drinks in the morning and outdoor bbq dining and drinks from the late afternoon. Very fun experience! Hotel also provide shuttle bus services to the city area for free, just need to book in advance. Most of the staffs are also friendly, especially the lady who work in the restaurant who patiently explain the specific Chinese new year buffet package. One downside is that it’s an Lanna style hotel to enjoy layback lifestyle or history building for IG photos. if you are looking for very modern building or swimming pools for sun bathing, you may need to find one within old town or other newer resort. Overall, it’s all the features highlighted on advertisements and very beautiful garden we didn’t expect, will comeback again next time.

Good value for money, good breakfast, clean, comfy bed and pillow, friendly and efficient service. My only beef is location. from Maya mall is still within walking distance, but walking is not really convenient particularly when it rains and the road the connects the hotel to the main road is puddled.

GGuest UserI rarely write reviews for hotels, but I must write this one. Very good hotel, warm service. The service staff will think of small details. My daughter stayed in bed in the morning, and the breakfast manager prepared a takeaway box to help us prepare breakfast for her to take back. All questions about the itinerary were answered. We encountered the largest flood in history in Chiang Mai, and all the itineraries were disrupted. The hotel was in the worst-hit area, and they considered us from beginning to end and did their best to arrange it. We took a small boat, and four hotel waiters, including a deputy manager, pushed the boat in the chest-deep water. It took an hour to reach the land. The hotel arranged other hotels to get us out of trouble. Thank you very much. A memorable hotel!

TTavivWe chose this hotel and it was very good decision. The hotel is located in the side, not in the old town or riverside and not in the center of Nimman. But the room and the staff of the hotel the breakfast and all the services were excellent we got a very nice room in the fourth floor very spacious big comfortable bad and the stuff helped us with everything that we need . the breakfast was excellent And for everywhere that we needed to go we ordered bolt and it was cheap and quick, At night you can walk by foot from the hotel to nimman center where is a lot of restaurants and night action I really recommend this hotel. I have been in a lot of hotels ,this hotel worth the money that you pay for it

AAnonymous UserWe had a twin room for short one night stay to explore Chiang Mai University and see the vibes of local uni students, location is great and have all necessities within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staffs, conversational English skills. Easy to call grab just from outside of the hotel, but try avoiding traffic rush hour when everyone is heading to university in the morning or coming down to and from night market at the late evenings. Also suitable for families to stay here as well, they have plenty of children play stuffs at the lobby.

GGuest User[De Chai gives you free drinks if you leave them a kind review during your stay so please be mindful of the reviews you see here :) ] I found the two bathrooms very appealing along with the price per night so I decided to stay here during my trip with my parents, but there are a lot of room for improvement. Location: 11-15 minutes away from Chiang Mai Airport so you can hear airplanes flying by in the hotel room. If you’re a light sleeper you might find discomfort staying here. There are definitely better hotels near here, personally I don’t recommend staying here. There are yummy food places near by that made up my experience here! I liked how I could walk to One Nimman & Maya to beat the heat. Amenities: gym is pretty small, and the pool is tiny too. The pool was so warm as the water isn’t being circulated, which personally discouraged me opt out of swimming here. There were dead bugs floating around too. The pool closes from 6:30pm as there’s a small roof top bar. The gym operates from 7am to 7pm only. Room: When I checked in, there was hair & dust on the floor. I later addressed this to the front desk the next day (we checked in the evening) & they cleaned it thankfully. The bigger issue here is a structural issue with the restroom floor. While showering, I realized that my feet were submerged in water and I was showering in a shower booth, not bath. The drainages are not working well so I had to be careful while showering because of this issue. It’s also because the water doesn’t flow to the drain fast enough and the water is just going to be all over the bathroom floor. I communicated this with the hotel staff but they just told me to shower with the drain top off but that didn’t fix the issue as I had to stop from the water overflowing by making circles on top of the drain to help the water drain out + using towels to soak the spilled out water. However, this might be a problem with just my room though. I stayed in room 502, so I hope this helps. Service: Most staff don’t speak english fluently so it was quite difficult to communicate with them especially with my drainage problem. They’re not really welcoming but I think they are just shy because when I asked them something they looked startled and they didn’t know what to say.

GGuest UserThe location couldn’t have been more perfect , it was convenient, beautiful, and exactly what we were hoping for. The team was so warm, welcoming, and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely amazing, with every dish being flavorful and beautifully presented. A special mention goes to the hostess, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was smooth and that we had everything we needed. It was truly an exceptional experience, and I can’t recommend it enough!

JJoLimThis trip makes it worth travelling to Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. Our 5D4N stays was amazing, cosy and location is super convenient to any night markets, shopping mall and even to supermarket etc. Thank u to all the staff for making the room with birthday deco and complimentary cakes. Only one thing is the noise level especially you booked staying the corner room. Overall is excellent!! Including their breakfast Will visit again soon !!

HHui Xian KwokA truly unforgettable first trip to Chiang Mai, all thanks to Chala Number 6. This was my first time staying at a boutique hotel, and it completely exceeded my expectations. When our driver dropped us by the roadside, I was briefly unsure—there was no typical drop-off area, and the hotel was nestled beside a school. I started worrying if I’d made the right choice, especially with my mom traveling with me. But those doubts vanished the moment the bellboy crossed the street to greet us and carry our bags. From that point on, everything was seamless. Our room was ready before the official check-in time (bonus point right there 🍪). The grounds are beautifully landscaped and incredibly Instagram-worthy. Traditional music plays softly in the background, creating a calming, almost spiritual atmosphere. One of the biggest surprises? Complimentary afternoon tea from 2pm to 4pm. I’m usually not a fan of traditional desserts, but theirs were so thoughtfully curated and visually stunning—some even reminded me of Nyonya kuih from home. Breakfast was simple but included local Thai items. One dish made from sticky rice, coconut milk, and egg wrapped in banana leaves brought back memories for my mom—it tasted just like her childhood. It rained almost every day during our stay, and at night we could hear the sounds of nature—croaking toads and gentle rainfall. My mom said it felt like we had traveled back in time. There’s also a temple right across the road. As someone who’s a little superstitious, I found comfort in that peaceful presence 😅. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. The Sunday Market literally starts at the hotel’s doorstep, and there’s a 7-Eleven just a 2-minute walk away. A few minutes further is Lila Thai Massage—I didn’t get to try it myself, but I’ve heard nothing but great reviews. Chala Number 6 made this mother-daughter trip so special. I’m truly grateful for the kind service, the thoughtful details, and the peaceful atmosphere. The price? Well worth it. Thank you, Chala Number 6, for taking such good care of us. We’ll remember this stay for a long time. 🙇♀️

BBONNY.WITH.A.YIf you're looking for a unique hotel experience, look no further than this amazing hotel with a pool inside the room! The room is incredibly clean and the staff are very friendly. However, be prepared for lots of rain if you're planning to visit in August - it rains all day, every day. Plus, the hotel is located high up in the mountains, which makes for a stunning view but can be a bit of a trek to get to. Overall, if you're looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay, this hotel is definitely worth considering.
