Great and convenient hotel! Smooth check-in but the queue move quite slowly. Labubu is there to welcome the guests! Room is spacious and comfortable! However, housekeeping needs to be improved. There is no comb, shaving kit while it is listed on the box. Only have one piece of face towel. I have to request it via chat and their response is very fast. They never refill the drinking water during the housekeeping too.  Breakfast is yummy with many varieties. Some dishes might be too salty for us. There are limited space so have to queue to get for seats during peak hours. Overall experience: great stay and we will come back again!

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The staff were warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived, always ready to assist with a smile. My room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The facilities were top-notch—clean pool, well-equipped gym, and a wide variety of breakfast choices that were fresh and delicious. The location is also convenient, with easy access to shops and attractions. Overall, a truly enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

It was a good hotel, the room was good, clean with adequate facilities and a good size. The picture window offers a sofa to sit and see the panoramic view of JB. The check-in process is quite slow, perhaps when we arrived there was a system error, nevertheless bye bye 29 mins to do that! There is a great bar on the roof (separate from hotel, so bring your credit card) Sky 26 .... 26th floor with great views from it's terrace. Generally good and recommended

Although the hotel building shows its age, both the interior and exterior, including the guest rooms, are maintained spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner were excellent — always fresh, varied, and full of flavor. It’s clear that the chefs put a lot of effort into creating a menu that changes daily. Overall, a delightful dining experience and a hotel that I would definitely recommend.

The hotel is modern, clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and efficient. Easy to get grab to any of the malls or places in JB. Otherwise the hotel do have shuttle service to CIQ, City Square mall and Komtar daily but only at certain timing. To Midvalley Southkey is only available on saturday and sunday. Hopefully they will extend for weekdays too. Certainly will recommend to anyone who is coming to stay in JB facing CIQ, city and seaview depending on your choice of room.

Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, from the bedding to the bathroom. You can tell the housekeeping team takes pride in keeping the place in excellent condition. **Location:** Very convenient! There’s a store nearby for daily needs, and in the evening, there’s a bazaar just at the back of the property – perfect for grabbing snacks or enjoying the local atmosphere. It’s also easy to get around from here, whether you’re heading into town or exploring nearby attractions. **Service:** The staff here truly made our stay more enjoyable. The front desk was friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any request. Even the cleaners were approachable and easy to talk to, which gave the place a warm, welcoming vibe. **Amenities:** Trinidad Suites is well-equipped for both relaxation and longer stays. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the deck area, perfect for winding down after a day out. There’s also a gym for workouts and a kitchen area if you prefer preparing your own meals. Everything was functional and well-maintained. Overall, our stay was comfortable, enjoyable, and stress-free. The combination of clean, spacious rooms, a convenient location, friendly service, and excellent facilities made this an easy 5-star experience. We left with great memories and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Johor!

The hotel rooms were impeccably clean. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff provided excellent service. Located in the business district, it offers great convenience for shopping and entertainment. Furthermore, the hotel readily agreed to my request for a late check-out.

This is my second visit after 4 months.The checked in process was fast and greted with a warm and cheerful staff if not wrong is duty manager. My room is clean and feel comfortable for my stay. The breakfast buffet got improvement a lot compare with last time visit. The nasi lemak corner never empty now, food fill up pretty fast now. Last visit food was finished and waited very long for filling up. The orange and watermelon juice was nice and also filling up very fast, very rare to see empty bottle. Thumbs up! The waiter all with smile and happy mood. The most yummy is the roti prata corner the same brother doing the best roti prata kosong! I will come back again by year end.

We recently stayed at Lotus and booked a double-story room, which was spacious and well-equipped, though not luxurious. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and being on the fifth floor, we had to take the lift, which honestly felt quite old and a bit scary — it could use an upgrade. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, which added a positive touch to our experience. At check-in, we had to pay a deposit of 100 ringgit in cash, so it’s good to be prepared for that. There are three or four restaurants on the property with nice menu options, but breakfast was quite chaotic. The hotel didn’t seem prepared for the large crowd, with long queues at the coffee and egg station, and very few available seats. It felt like a tour group had arrived, but no one was managing the situation, making breakfast quite stressful. On a brighter note, the swimming pools are nice, and there are plenty of family-friendly activities, making it a good choice for guests with children. The on-site shop is also convenient and well-stocked. Around the pool and by the shore, there are sun loungers available — they are simple rather than luxurious, but they do the job. Overall, Lotus offers good value, especially for families, but some areas — especially crowd management and certain facilities — could use improvement.

I stayed at Hyatt Place Johor Bahru Paradigm Mall for 1 night in July with my husband. We had travelled all the way from London, and this was my husband’s first time visiting Johor Bahru. I had specifically chosen this hotel so we could unwind and enjoy a nice swim, especially after the long journey and in the hot Malaysian weather. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were informed that the pool was closed for cleaning due to the end of the school holidays — something that was not mentioned on the hotel website or during booking. This was really disappointing, especially since the pool was one of the main reasons I booked the hotel as a treat for my husband. After speaking with the staff, the hotel management was understanding and offered us a discount, which we appreciated. Aside from the pool issue, the stay was lovely. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent, and the overall facilities in the hotel were modern and enjoyable. It’s also conveniently connected to Paradigm Mall, which made dining and shopping easy. In summary, we would consider returning in the future — but I do hope the hotel improves communication about facility closures moving forward.
