Very conveniently located near to KSL mall and other amenities around the area. Room was clean and have facilities for guests to enjoy. But food variety for buffet was so so, and the water spray from shower head in my room was weird..instead of spraying in one direction, the water sprayed out downwards and also to the left, resulting in a weak water pressure and turning the tap only makes the water spray all over the place even more. Did not call front desk to change room or get a plumber as it is too much of a hassle. Decent for the price paid overall but could do some maintenance.

Love the people at the front desk, they are always so happy and friendly. Check-in took a bit longer than usual but the staff were very apologetic. I stayed in the Urban room at level 12 facing the highway and river. To my surprise it was rather quiet I can’t really hear the traffic. Morning breakfast at level 6 was pretty crowded. The next morning I just went down earlier and it was great. The girls at breakfast were always happy to welcome us… keep it up 👍

Dear Crystal Crown Management Team, First of all, I would like to thank you for the hospitality during this period. To begin with, I have a brother who is currently serving quarantine at Hotel Ramada, so I know exactly what are the two hotels offering and its differences. Nevertheless, my stay with Crystal Crown has been a decent one which I am grateful for. I will also be honest with you that there are quite number of areas which need to be improved, not only for the wellbeing of the next batch of guests, but also for the benefit of your staff members. Hence, I would like to provide some constructive suggestions. 1) Communications a) Clarity on the rules of food / items delivery. The RELA briefed us on the arrival day, but it was unclear as we were seated outdoor. A suggestion is to include pictures in your document. See the attached photo for illustration. Besides pasting the rules at the entrance, you could also print it out in black and white for every room, together with the welcome letter. I believe that once the rules are spelled out clearly, the guests will manage their expectations accordingly. b) Distribute the 14 days necessities (e.g. mineral waters, trash bag, toiletries) at one shot. This is also a good practice of Hotel Ramada. Not only the guests can ration the items based on their needs, it also saves your hotel staff the trouble of attending to the needs of the guests at all time. c) Discontinue the whatsapp group. I understand the intention of setting up the group is for emergency purpose. But we all clearly know that this is not the case. Unfortunately, the chat group becomes a platform of all sorts of stuff: from requesting the daily necessities, clarifying the same delivery rules, asking the staff to pick up and send food / items, to spamming the group of 198 people with complaints and feud, or even turning the group into personal chat room. I believe once point a) & b) are sorted out, there is less need to use the whatsapp group as the main channel of communication. We can always use the phone in our room to call the front desk for additional requests or attend to emergency matters. Respecting the guests’ privacy is very much appreciated. 2) Dietary Preferences a) Make the effort to collect guests’ dietary needs and be committed to attend to it. This is a basic etiquette and fundamentals of the hospitality industries. Peanut and seafood allergies can be severe and deadly. The health of people with medical conditions (e.g. diabetes) could be affected. Not to mention the vulnerable such as the elderly, young children and pregnant women. We are human after all, hence the importance of mutual respect – treat the guests the way you want to be treated. b) Look after the well-being of the vegetarians. I would like to speak up for the vegetarians, especially those who practise strict vegetarianism. They cannot to take onions, garlic, chives, green onions and leeks, as it cause anger and desi

The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel was wonderful. It was even better than expected. The price was amazing. There were great restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again

The Hotel entrance and carpark entrance are all very easy to locate. Front counter is 24hr open so when I checked in around 10pm, it was very easy. The room is as good as advertised on Trip.com. cleanliness was good and all e pillows, blankets and bed are new and good! The breakfast was cheap and VERY GOOD TO EAT. The environment is very cosy and food+ staffs are good and courteous Will definitely book again!!

We stay here 4D3N. The room is big spacious my children love it. Our room is facing the sea. Love to see the sunrise. The breakfast is nice, but it is the same menu for the 3 days😌. The pool is big too,there is a mini garden, and a farm animal, such as a rabbit, turtle, etc... outside the hotel there is a lot of food court along the road. There is mall too but not much shops. But it is easy to get grab, so we went to Paradigm Mall, Toppen, and Midvalley Southkey is nearer to the hotel.

The first hotel I cannot unlock my room with my door card. Ask the front desk they say everytime i need to back to hotel ask them to help open the room door. Parking system very unfriendly for hotel guest. Need to validate at front desk everytime before exit hotel. And you need to use different lift for room and parking. Room is clean and , just a bit old. Bathtub looks quite old so i not dare to use. Breakfast quite good. But i will still choose not to stay again anymore.

Stayed for a night in Holiday Inn hotel as we sent the car for servicing at the workshop. There was a long line during check in even at 3pm. Rooms were not ready. But they did service recovery by giving free food at the restaurant near the lobby. Cleanliness wise was disappointing. There was blood stains on the pillow cover so I guess they didn’t even change the covers of the bed. Not to mention that the pillows smell awful. This is not my first time staying in holiday inn and I hope they improve their cleanliness standards. Holiday Inn, please look into this matter.

Smooth check in process. Location is near CIQ but abit out of the way if you don't drive. However they offer complimentary shuttle to nearby location. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The room is big and comfy. Generally clean. However they only offer 2 sets of fork and spoon, 2 glasses and 2 big plates. Just wondering why not W bowls as well. But no biggie. My room has the city view and it is near a mosque so you get to hear the daily prayers. One down side is that the hotel is abit dated. E.g. like the bathroom, the floor tiles has came off and need to be careful if you have young or elderly with you. If they slip might cut themselves. Look at the pictures. Also for my room, the toilet has 2 blinds. Even after rolling down, there is a gap between the 2 blinds and I could see the block beside, where the bedroom window is facing the toilet. So if I can see them, they too can see whoever is in the bathroom too. I don't think the windows are tinted. So have to be careful especially ladies. Overall it was a decent and comfy stay.

We had a pleasant 3d2n stay at Holiday Villa. Service was impeccable and room was clean and spacious. Good buffet breakfast spread with rotation during our stay. Strategic location, near to KSL with many eateries and massage parlours around the vicinity. Will definitely be back again.

I am a frequent stayer of Amari JB Hotel. Overall, my experience at the Hotel was excellent. The combination of good service, comfortable rooms, and convenient amenities made for a memorable stay. Overall, a great choice if you’re in Johor Bahru. I’d definitely stay here again! Highly recommend.

Had a great experience, service was good and generally very prompt. Breakfast had a wide variety of options. Staff are warm and friendly. The only thing that they need to improve would be the swimming pool ladders. It was shaky for both off them and there was a screw protruding out of the ladder and could be hazardous to any guest. The refurbished room was excellent.

I’ve been wanting to try renaissance for so long and glad that we finally did! It’s under Marriott hence standards are definitely up there - hotel buffet breakfast that everyone is raving about, great room, space and amenities (24 hours gym and sauna room). Trust this review that mid valley southkey is a better option vs the aeon you see from the window. We walked there (not really a proper linked walkway, walking side by side with moving cars) and took about 10 mins and to cross the overhead bridge too, the mall has nothing 😭 not a proper restaurant but it’s similar to sg’s g*ant hyper mart at tampines. overall, recommended to stay here! just take note on the location~ 10/10 on all except the location but if you just wanna chill and relax in, this is perfect.

Unfortunately, we booked a themed room called kingdom, which has only a city view, unlike a pirate themed room and adventure themed room, they have a great Legoland view. Although the room rates are the same. Rooms include 2 separate sleeping areas, with a king-sized bed for adults, and a separate area for up to 3 children, complete with bunk bed, pull-out trundle bed and their very own TV. The TV for kids is malfunctioning. Swimming pool at 5th floor Rating: 4 stars Average price per person: MYR500

Pros: Breakfast spread quite wide and taste not bad. Cons: Cleanliness needs to be improved as we can see some food crumbs under the sofa. Thinking to use bathtub after a long journey but when we on it the water is like yellow-ish. It makes us to stop the thought of using that bathtub. More convenient to those whose drive car cos the hotel location quite “ulu”. Nothing much can shop and dine there. Btw a Hard Rock Cafe is over there.

Forest City Marina Hotel is a resort hotel by the sea with a view of Singapore. The receiptionist are very polite and helpful. We checked in at the hotel on 17 October 2020 and the whole check in process was fast and took us less than 10 minutes from queuing to getting the room keys. The room is very spacious and big. It is equipped with wifi connectivity, big screen tv, a variety of tv channels, a chiller, bathrobes and complimentary mineral water. The bathroom/toilet comes with a bathtub and separate shower and the size is big and spacious. The room also have a balcony facing the seaview and Singapore. The downside of the hotel: 1. It’s located very far from JB city and after 8pm, the Forest City seems to be a dead city. 2. Some of the facilities are not open to the public(eg. Only one swimming pool is open out of the many swimming pools, facilities around the resort are limited to the Marina Hotel and many shops are closed) 3. Some of the equipment/in room facilities require repair eg. Shower head 4. Aircond is not switched on in many areas(maybe due to low occupancy) The positive part of the hotel: 1. Very friendly and polite staff in the hotel from receiption, restaurant, security guards to the housekeeping team. Good job everyone. 2. The room is neat and tidy. Sufficient towels and amenities are provided. 3. Operator/receiption answer the phone call within three rings 4. They have promotion set meal at rm20 each which is affordable.

Some areas within the resort looks used and needs refurbishment. The hotel provides a surprise for my birthday. There were balloons and congratory words on the mirror and a chocolate cake in the mini fridge. Appreciate their effort to provide refillable shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Also 4 refilled glass bottled water upon arrival. However when the room was refreshed on the 2nd day, they provided plastic bottles water which we didn't understand why. As we stayed for 3D2N, and it was raining intermittently, there was not much to do but chill in the room and go to the gym. There were 3 restaurant options within the hotel. Decent food variety with 1. International spread, 1 with seafood and 1 with Italian food.

My stay at Hard Rock Hotel was absolutely splendid! We had a wonderful time as a family, along with my in-laws. It was our first time at HRH, and it definitely won’t be our last. The staff were incredibly friendly, the location was easily accessible, and we loved the live band. The breakfast buffet was amazing, with so many options that we were truly spoiled for choice. My personal favorite was the bread pudding with sauce—simply delicious! The swimming pool was perfect for my 9- and 12-year-old daughters, and we were treated to a delightful welcome drink upon arrival—a Ribena mocktail that I couldn’t stop sipping. The hotel is very kid-friendly, and eating out was a breeze with convenient nearby options. I highly recommend the seafood at One Utama—it was fresh and absolutely worth the price. Another must-try is the Woodfire restaurant, known for their huge, thick burgers loaded with sauce. They even provide gloves to keep things neat and mess-free. Overall, I’d give this experience a perfect 100! I’m already looking forward to staying here again during the December holidays. Thank you, HRH, for the warm hospitality! Xoxo.

The hotel stay was delightful. The room is spacious with everything working perfectly. Breakfast is delicious with variety to choose from. Facilities within the hotel too was superb. With their creativity, they eventually made an outdoor gym using woods that they recycle and also beach swing which is the plus point. Credits to the hotel technician team for their hardwork to build it.

Beautiful place, both the pools were great and they had enough activities to keep kids busy. Room was excellent with comfy and clean sheets/towels. Personally enjoyed the bicycle rides and walks within the resort. Buffet spread was good and in room dining was good too. Will visit again

Beautiful rooms and resort! The infinity pool facing the sea was gorgeous! Our room and toilet were beautiful! The private pool was great but the water can be cold. It would be great if there could be a heater for the pool. There were a lot of insects (but it is understandable due to being surrounded by rainforest) so if you hate insects, do not stay in the rainforest room. We took the ocean room and it was already quite much lol. Our stay was AH-MAY-ZING. It was so private and luxurious. The staff were all very friendly and everyone showered our baby with so much love! We were deeply impressed and if you asked if we were ever going to stay there again, i would say “in a heartbeat!”. Thank you everyone for the amazing stay!

Don’t expect much from the complimentary tickets to the waterpark, the facilities are good for kids and family. Adult can just spend like 30 mins there is enough. Luckily we have a very sunny weather to play at the park. The breakfast option was little but the food taste at local standard. A lot of small carnival games are available to kill our evening time. The peacock and swans are something unexpected beautiful to look closely at there.

This is my first time staying at Four points and I absolutely love the stay. It is so convenient that there shops just outside the hotel. The deluxe room with the balcony has a very nice view of the town. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The food and beverage team at the restaurant is very professional and efficient.

The room is clean. Nice view facing the see. The breakfast spread is very good. So many varieties. The staff at the reception is very polite his name is Adam. Checking in and out is very fast. We were even give late check out as we need to say our prayers.

Most ever worst room I stayed. This is the second time we booked Lotus resort. Previously, we stayed Lotus beach reasort at Desaru. We are impressed with loft units and amenities. So this time round, we decided to stay another Lotus Resort at Pengerang. We have booked 2 rooms standard King for 2 days which claim as near to beach. One is for us at 106. Another's room will be 108 for my parents in law. We found big red ants over room 106 on the desk, floor, and toilet. Make complaint to indian receptionist twice. One technician came to inspect, spray anti-ant, and believed what we had complained. The Indian receptionist only allowed us to change room to 152, which is super far from my in-laws room 108. Claims that only room is available for standard King. My in-laws room 108 is worse than us. They found a brunch of earth worms in the toilet bowl after flushed. Complaint to receptionist about issues. The same thing the technician came to solve was the problem. We are DISAPPOINTED for what we paid. Not value for money to stay there. We prefer Lotus Beach Resort Bandar Penawar at Desaru.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Sebana Cove Resort, it is hard to really measure the hotel and really depends what you’re looking for. The resort is fairly old (25 years old), but I would disagree that it is worn off, it just isn’t brand new and shiny. The staff couldn’t be more friendly / helpful, same can be said of the security guards. Parking is free and you can park close to your room, there are no lifts/elevators so book a ground floor room if this is likely to be an issue for you or your party. Wifi was fine for us, you get a 3-day token which is good for 2 devices, we were given 1 per person. For general surfing this was fine, I didn’t stream Netflix so can’t comment. I’m not on holiday to be glued to a device. The location is a long way from the main road / town, you really need your own transport to stay here, I tried (unsuccessfully) to get a Grab taxi to take us into town, have a willing and sober driver in your party! The Marina area and hotel grounds are very well kept, the swimming pool could do with some love, but on the whole everything is nice enough (keep in mind the room rate you’re paying). If you want the Westin in Desaru, stay there and pay the premium. For us, the biggest negative was the food, breakfast is charged at 35MYR per person, the offering is small and its first time we’ve ever had breakfast in Asia without fresh fruit. Don’t expect an egg station or any artisan bread / coffee etc etc. It is a simple offering… Lunch and dinner is a similar basic affair, around 7-8 local dishes ranging from 20-30MYR each, note that dinner stopped serving at 8pm, last orders at 7pm. Offsite there are restaurants but they involve driving, obviously you have Super Lobster and Jades Garden Corner for a wide selection of seafood within a 20 minute drive. To add, you cannot get Grabfood to deliver to the hotel….food options are limited. The menu does not reflect the photos you see in on the hotel website, if only they did! From the hotel you get a beautiful sunset across the Marina, sadly you won’t be enjoying sundowners with this view, beer (Tiger/Carlsberg) was the only alcohol available.

It is my 3rd day of stay in this resort and it exceeded my expectation. I rented a 5 room villa and it is superbly maintained, comfy and clean. It is located just next to the golf course and the view is fantastic. At night you could hear the sound of insects with cool breeze. The staff here are helpful and courteous. We had dinner in the Club and most of the dishes are very good especially the duck 🦆 . Activities wise it caters to all age and personalities- we played tennis, table tennis, swimming pool with slide for kids. We’ll like try archery before leaving tomorrow. There are many other things here like table pool, gym, squash, horse riding, a small field for football and of course golf- we won’t have time for all these this time 😉. I will give a 5 Star ⭐️ rating for this resort in overall offerings, service and value. Keep it up Tg Puteri Golf Resort ⛳️ 👏👏

This hotel has 70+rooms. More than half of it are without window. The twin beds room seem alright. Its small but you get hair dryer, iron & board, kettle, 2 minerals water bottles. Working aircon and hot water. Able to watch free to air TV channels from Malaysia and Singapore. Free simple breakfast include coffee, tea, powder orange juice, milk, cereal, white bread w toaster, jam and butter, water melon, orange, cherry tomato, lettuce, baked bean, hot dog, garlic bread, fries, spring roll, mini pau, mushrooms soup, porridge, fried rice, noodle. Not enough, walk out to the coffeeshop behind the hotel, open by 7am. Indeed, its time to change their set of towels and bed sheets etc, WORN out. Need improvement on this area. Those pictures displayed on booking websites seem like computer generated imagery. Outdoor parking charges seem to be covered by the mgmt. This hotel very suitable for running errands between banks as there are MORE than 10 foreign and local finance houses along Molek Utama. Overall, happy to stay here again as the daily rate is attractive for what it offer currently.

I travel for business, because I have training at JPFSA, so this is the most decent hotel in the area. This is a small town not far from Johor Bahru, the capital state. Easy to get Grab Service and a lot of eating place. There a bar and restaurant next to the hotel, Japanese Restaurant Opposite & Bakery opposite the hotel. Room is spacious, bright lighting and decent decoration, there no wardrobe. It's ok for 1 or 2 nights. Quite safe for woman traveller. Breakfast can be better. They only serve coffee/tea with sandwiches and noodles/fried rice. Please dont set high expectation for breakfast. This area mostly office area for freight forwarders and other small businesses.
