The location is fantastic, just a few hundred meters' walk from the JR station, with a 7-Eleven conveniently located on the ground floor. The hotel lobby, situated on the second floor, is spacious and brightly lit. They provide a good selection of complimentary toiletries and skincare products. Rooms are a decent size, not cramped at all, and kept impeccably clean. However, due to its proximity to the railway tracks, there can be some noticeable noise, which might be an issue for light sleepers.
This hotel offers excellent value for money. It's centrally located in the city. A taxi to the JR station costs around 1300 JPY. Major attractions like Kenrokuen Garden are only a 15-20 minute walk away, and Ohmicho Market is just a 5-minute stroll. It's also convenient for shopping. The rooms are quite spacious and very clean, and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommended!
It's about a ten-minute walk from Kanazawa Station, and on the way, you'll pass by what's considered the best Montbell store in the Chubu region. The hotel is clean, the room is a decent size, and it's very new, making for a very comfortable stay. The lobby offers a complimentary coffee machine, and upon check-in, guests receive a welcome drink. They also provide vending machine tokens based on the number of occupants, allowing each person to get one free drink. There's an ice machine and a laundry room on the second floor. Omi-cho Market is just diagonally across from the hotel.
Location is good. 4 mins walk from station. Family mart and 7/11 around the corner.
Room is ok size. Hotel has onsen which is a bonus. The bed is good and there are many pillows, seemed to be memory foam! Didn't try breakfast as it's 2200 yen!
I gave a 4 for cleanliness because there do snt seem to be a service lift for staff. I met a staff pushing the days change of bedsheets to another floor. Also, the corridors have no ventilation. When maid chambers clean the rooms and left the used towels etc at the corridors, the smell is really bad! That was the smell in my room when I checked in. I had to open the windows to clear the air. I think the hotel can look into this matter.
Otherwise the stay was great! Staff at reception was polite and helpful.
I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! Firstly, its location is superb, just about a 5-minute walk from Kanazawa Station. This is incredibly convenient, as the station itself offers a plethora of dining options and shopping opportunities. Secondly, the hotel boasts a spacious and impeccably clean public bath with extended operating hours – I recall it being open until 1 AM. Definitely a top-notch choice!
We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Nikko Kanazawa! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our visit truly exceptional. Their hospitality was warm and professional, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience throughout our stay.
The rooms were incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, offering a level of comfort that truly sets this hotel apart. Every detail in the room was thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a home away from home.
One of the best features of the hotel is its prime location, right next to Kanazawa Station. This made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city, accessing transportation, and enjoying nearby shops and restaurants.
This hotel has easily become one of our all-time favorites, and we can’t wait to stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kanazawa!
Located next to Komatsu Jr Station, the location is very convenient. The hotel facilities are relatively new and clean, the rooms are also large, and there are Japanese comics available for borrowing in the hotel lobby, which is relatively attractive to locals. Unfortunately, there is no large public bath, and because it uses a self-service check-in and check-out method, if you check in late at night, there may not be staff support, and you may need to have a better understanding of the operating system.
The room, at 22 sq m, was noticeably larger than the Daiwa hotel near Nagoya Station, so it felt very spacious. The first-floor lobby offered a comprehensive selection of amenities like drip coffee, bath salts, and toothbrushes. Its location right at Kanazawa Station's West Exit is fantastic, just a three-minute walk away. What's more, the Komatsu Airport bus also departs from the West Exit, making it incredibly convenient.
The equipment of this room was very attractive as I saw it in the photos on Trip.com. I saw that some rooms had a thin hot spring basin, so I chose this room. I was so happy that I could soak in the hot spring in the room. How did I know that there was no such equipment when I arrived in the room? After I went to the front desk to find out the situation, after dealing with them for a while, they just said that the information on the Trip.com website was wrong. This was a photo of another room and had nothing to do with their hotel. .
Therefore, I advise everyone who plans to book a hotel on Trip.com not to trust the photos and information on the Trip.com website!
The hotel has a shuttle service from Kaga Onsen Station. You need to call and book in advance.
There was only one person at the counter who could communicate in English, but he was very friendly and gave complete explanations.
The room is spacious and comfortable, and the Japanese cuisine for dinner and breakfast is delicious, with many local ingredients.
A variety of yukatas are provided for you to wear and take photos, soak in the hot springs after a meal, and have a good night's sleep.

Amazing
GGuest UserThe hotel itself boasts a fantastic design, and its location is absolutely superb. It's right opposite the seafood market and just a few minutes' walk from Higashiide Coffee, which meant I had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast and coffee there one morning.
It's a bit of a distance from Kanazawa Station. While the hotel does offer a shuttle service, it only operates in the afternoon. I ended up taking a taxi to the hotel from the station, but this was perfectly acceptable.
Overall, it's excellent! I've already recommended it to my friends and will definitely be back!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is conveniently located right next to the JR station, just a 3-minute walk, making it incredibly easy for shopping, dining, and getting around. It's connected to the Hyatt Hotel, where breakfast is served. A fantastic perk is the lobby lounge, offering complimentary free-flow drinks, including sake and wine, from 11 AM to 8 PM. While not in-room, the self-service laundry facility is available in the common area on the 4th floor. It might be busy and require a wait during peak evening hours, but it's usually readily available during the day. Highly recommended!
TTuckNice to stay here.
The hotel location is close to Kanazawa station. That's convenience.
Reception & Restaurant area are at 13rd floor.
Twin bedroom is bigger than double bedroom (more space).
Breakfast is served as Japanese's set.
I staied for 2nights :
The first breakfast is rice pot with fish set.
The second breakfadt is rice pot with crab set.
Love it❤️ what a photogram set I would said.
GGuest UserFront desk is super friendly, a lady staff came out to the car and walked all the way to direct us to the parking lot entrance.
Room was clean and spacious and we loved the coffee machine in the room!
Location is great, walking distance to several touristy districts, and of course it is right next to the train station.
EElisia LohHotel is conveniently located on the east gate of Kanazawa station, with nearby shopping malls (opp Forus shopping mall), and lots of restaurants.
Hotel is more like business hotel setup, furnishes is dated but clean. The only downside which we don’t like is the bedside lamp is fixed very near to the bed, am very afraid will bang onto them when sleeping too near.
Kanazawa is very tourist oriented, there is a tourist loop bus which you can purchase for the day which is about 800yen per adult unlimited rides on this loop bus (otherwise per trip is about 210 yen), you can purchase the ticket from the East gate bus information counter, and bus boarding at bay no 7. This tourist loop bus passes the tourist spots like the Chaya district, Kanazawa Castle Park / Kenrokuen (same bus stop), Omicho market (which is about 15 min walk from Kanazawa station).
__CFT4039****Location: While the hotel is a bit of a walk from Kanazawa Station, the underground passage makes getting there quite convenient.
Room: We were incredibly grateful for the surprisingly spacious room, a rare find in Japan. It even came with a convenient wet bar. There were also two comfy sofas and footrests, perfect for unwinding and reflecting after a long day.
The only minor drawback was that room cleaning is only provided for stays of four nights or more. Since we only stayed for three nights, we had to take our used towels to the front desk for replacements. However, we could bag our trash and leave it outside the door for housekeeping to collect. For those who don't mind this policy, the overall experience was excellent. It was incredibly liberating to have enough space to keep our suitcases fully open throughout our stay. The price was also very reasonable, offering exceptional value for money.
RRm Travel is funThe hotel is nice for a short trip. The reception staff is courteous. They have a drinking water vending machine on every floor, which is an excellent way to minimize the use of plastic bottles and wastage of water. The room has practical amenities. It appears clean to the eyes. However, the not so visible areas in the room are not clean which makes me doubt the overall maintenance.

GGuest UserThe double bed was a bit small. While breakfast offered sashimi, the overall selection wasn't very extensive. The onsen (hot spring) was comfortable, but the provided ice cream was just average. The hotel's location was convenient for sightseeing attractions, though it was a bit far from Kanazawa Station. We found Omicho Market to be quite pricey. We had planned to visit the Central Fish Market, but it was too far from our location. We ended up going to the nearby Akiyoshi restaurant; we had to queue for a long time, and while the prices were reasonable, the service was only mediocre. It seemed to be very popular with local Japanese customers.
GGuest UserThe room was spacious and clean.
As other reviewers have mentioned, I was bothered by noise. It may have been due to the location of the room, but there was a faint mechanical sound, like a cell phone ringing, that kept bothering me, and once I started to notice it, it continued.
Do I have to ask for amenities? I had some with me, but it was inconvenient not knowing how to get them.
