The room was a decent size. With two 1.2-meter single beds pushed together, it was perfectly fine for a family of three with a child. What truly impressed me was that the bathroom also came with a huge bathtub. The front desk is on the 2nd floor, offering a variety of toiletries, a selection of bath salts in different scents, and even two types of granular hair treatment serum. That was a delightful surprise! I also picked up several packets of drip coffee and tea bags! There's a Lawson convenience store downstairs. The hotel is not far from the JR station; it's a short walk – just exit the East Gate, cross the street, and walk straight down the main road. It's also close to the fresh market and the fish market. I highly recommend the 12-piece seafood rice bowl at the fish market for 2200 yen!
Easy to get to from the airport. Great facilities. Coin laundry available. Free mask. Lawson and bakery downstairs. Honestly, nothing to complain about. Free water and tea dispenser outside the lift at every floor.
I stayed here for my first trip to Hachinohe. The downtown area is quite a walk from Motohachinohe Station, which I imagine could be tough during summer or on rainy days. However, the hotel's location is excellent, being close to the downtown area with plenty of great restaurants nearby! They offered delicious apple juice in the lobby. The room was a bit on the small side but felt very clean. Breakfast offered a great variety, and everything was delicious, including the kaisen-don (seafood rice bowl), ika-menchi (squid cutlets), and scallop fry! The hot spring bath was also wonderful, but unfortunately, I spotted a cockroach and had to get out immediately 😭. Perhaps it's unavoidable with an open-air bath, but I really wish I could have relaxed in such a nice hot spring longer – that's my only slight regret! I was also delighted that the hairdryers in the public bath were Panasonic Nanoe models! And the ice cream after the bath was delicious too.
First of all, the hotel's location is fantastic! It's directly connected to Aomori Station, so it's convenient for getting around. The hotel has a sophisticated atmosphere and is very nice. It only opened last year, so both the building and the rooms are clean. The staff were all very kind and welcoming. The steak we had for dinner was so delicious, it was unlike any steak I'd ever had before. It was cooked in an elaborate way, first at a low temperature for 30 minutes, then back in the oven, cooled, and then reheated again, transforming even the fat into flavor. It was crispy yet very tender inside, with all the flavor locked in. The eggs Benedict, salmon brûlée, and omelet for breakfast were also delicious. It was truly amazing that they could offer such high-quality food for breakfast. I was impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the time and effort they put into preparing the food, and I felt the same was true for breakfast. The hotel was lovely and I really liked it, but the food here was so delicious I'd definitely like to return. This time, I visited for a family celebration, and the kindness I received was so kind, it has become a fond memory that will stay with me forever. Thank you so much. I will definitely visit again.
It was my first time staying in Aomori in a while. As it was cherry blossom season, I visited the nearby Gappo Park and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful blooms. The downtown area was also conveniently close, making it a short walk to my evening social gathering.
Overall, it was pretty good. The biggest highlight was definitely the communal area on the 13th floor, where you can enjoy hot springs, read comics, and get massages. The room wasn't very big, and it felt a bit cramped if you stayed in at night with nothing to do. It's better to head up to the 13th floor for some relaxation and entertainment, and only return to the room when it's time to sleep. Another thing I noticed was the understaffing; from check-in to housekeeping, everything was largely self-service.
The hotel is quite far from Hirosaki Station. It may take 15-20 minutes to walk there, but the hotel has a shuttle bus to the JR station in the morning, which runs frequently. There are parking spaces, which is more suitable for self-driving tours. There are many restaurants near the hotel with many choices. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to Hirosaki Park.
Location: 5mins walk from Hirozaki Station (exit station, turn left, can already see hotel)
30mins walk to Hirozaki Castle, which is a pleasant walk, so do not necessarily have to take the public bus
Though it may not be very near the bus terminal/ train station, it was very convenient for us to walk to the bus terminal/train station every morning which was near the Tourist Information Centre, Aomori City.
As for the hotel room, it was very comfortable and the breakfast spread was substantial indeed.
Would I still book a room in JAL CITY AOMORI when I next visit Aomori? YES, I certainly would!
It’s still the BEST location for me to visit the places around the vicinity. There is indeed SO MUCH to see around the hotel. The A-FACTORY is one of the FUN places of interest in AOMORI. YAY!
Although the hotel's internal facilities are old, it can be seen that they are very attentive in cleaning. Although the old air conditioner against the wall needs to be cleaned from time to time, this seems to be a problem that all major hotels have.
The staff are either locals who are older or young people who have just entered the society. This accommodation includes breakfast and dinner, which are both delicious. If you visit again, I will consider staying here again

Great
MMissFoxHKBreakfast is excellent, must try for at least one time!
They provide free sake even at the breakfast time (I don't drink though)...
Nice & clean, staff are helpful & polite, just a bit away from JR station...

GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to Shin-Aomori Station and is a good place to stay when going to Hirosaki to enjoy the cherry blossoms. You can call up the booking information and check in by scanning your passport, which is quite convenient. The breakfast is also good. However, there is really no one around Shin-Aomori Station. If you want to eat or go shopping, you have to walk for half an hour or take a bus to Aomori.
GGuest UserWe have forgotten one essential thing at the hotel. Once we try to contact the hotel reception after midnight, we get their prompt attention and quick response. The hotel reception has a good service mind and helps to send our belonging to our next accommodation in time.
The hotel is near Aomori Station and interesting places such as Furukawa fish market, A-Factory, Nebuta Museum, where we can walk from the hotel.
Furthermore, there was a Christmas tree with a lot of snow beside the hotel. We have fun to visit there.
GGuest UserThe hotel is older, but adorable. Since the heating was broken I got a voucher for the onsen, which was nice too. In the evening there is curry for free, very tasty. Breakfast was also good, thank you.
GGuest UserFor less than 1400, supper comes out for supper, breakfast comes out. After breakfast, each person drinks a cup of coffee or tea at the bar. The hot spring is free to soak. It is only 20 minutes away from Aomori by tram. I think it is worth taking a half day alone as a relaxing trip. After all, Aomori is very small. I live in the city for a day to see the House of the Sandman and my favorite punch card. Hoshino, why not try it! It's not easy to find a hot spring street that is not in the old forest in the mountains these days (in fact, the hotels in Asamushi are a bit scattered). Talk about the shortcomings, the hotel welcomes you free of charge, but you need to make an appointment or call after you arrive at Asamushi Station. You do n’t need to worry about Japanese if you are in Japan. Even more trouble. However, you can try your luck. Saturday's pick-ups may be intensive, and we just happened to get in the car. If you go by yourself, it ’s not as easy to find as the other ones. Yu Zhi Tang is next to him, and it ’s not easy to find. On the contrary, those who can see the sea are very eye-catching and easy to find. The room is a bit small, to be honest, but eating well can make up for some regrets.

Wweina123The room I booked is a duplex. It is suitable for three or four people with children. The living room is upstairs. Children like to run up and down. The hotel service is good. They take care of the pick-up and drop-off when going to the cable car and climbing, and when coming back and going to JR. The breakfast and dinner are good. There are both Japanese and Western breakfasts, and formal Japanese dinners. They are not repeated in 2 days. Bathing in the open air facing the vast snow is unique! It is worth recommending. I will stay at this hotel next time I go to Hakkoda Mountain!
十十一一十There is nothing wrong with the location of the hotel. It is very close to the station and very convenient. Although the room is a bit small, it is enough and it is very convenient to go shopping and eat.
와와사The location from Hon Hachinohe is reasonable distance on foot. But actually it is center of the city and very convenient to enjoy Hachinohe culture and life. The city art museum is next door and the emperors have stayed this hotel when they visited after East Japan Big Earthquate. To comfort the people and encouragements to rebuild San Riku Region was their main purpose to come and see. Amazing gift was that the paper cranes were prepared on beds to welcome guests. The first experiences during my 35 years' trips across the world. This hotel should be rated by 100 perfect score. The price is also very good!!
