This hotel is located in the geyser scenic area, with an excellent location and beautiful environment. You can see the geyser eruption outside the window. The light pollution is low, which is convenient for taking photos of the aurora. You need to go to the main building of the hotel next door to check in. The front desk is quite enthusiastic. Breakfast is also served in the main building, which is relatively rich in Iceland. The public area in the main building is very high-end. Some of the room pictures in the reviews on Ctrip are actually from the main building hotel, but it is impossible to upgrade you to the main building during the peak season.
The room area is small, no toilet paper is provided, and the water flow for washing hands and taking a bath is small. Others are normal for Icelandic hotels.
This is the best hotel in the whole Iceland trip. Reception is super friendly and helpful. All corners are new and clean. Restaurant provides nice food at reasonable price. Free hot tub and sauna facing the glacier. I am just unlucky that the weather was so bad that I cannot really enjoy the view. Breakfast is a must add item as it is so worthwhile. It’s a perfect location if you visit the glacier tour or visit Jökulsárlón.
I like it very much. There is a kitchen for cooking and shopping. You can drive 20 minutes to the small town of Selfoss to buy. Luckyly captured the aurora behind the wooden house. I have always treasured the memory of the male ticket here.
The hotel is in a great location, with a lake and snow-capped mountains behind it, which is very beautiful. I also saw faint aurora at night. The room was clean and hygienic, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was particularly rich and delicious. The front desk service was warm and thoughtful. It was the right choice for this self-driving hotel.
Good hotel, filled with amenities. But the hotel room doesnt have AC and is too hot. Breakfast is alright, from reception to room have to walk through open air and when rain it will be troublesome. It is very near to the city of VIK which there are a few restaurants with good food there. Horse riding as well.
Very satisfied with everything, but there is only one bathroom for taking a shower, which is a bit inconvenient. I personally feel that the breakfast is quite good.
Clean modern hotel situated near the entrance to the town. Large room but space mostly in the washroom (if you like big washrooms its great). Breakfast is BIG plus in Iceland, hot cooked American breakfast (bacon, eggs, sauteed mushrooms, bread and toast), lots of juices and milk, three cereals available. Avoid the espresso machine just get the brewed coffee made by the staff. Tea is sachet so dependable. Brilliant stop on the way to the east
The room is large and has its own bathroom. The service is not bad. Breakfast is distributed by person, coffee is drunk casually. There is a small river in front of the room and a waterfall behind the room. The price is more expensive!
A brilliant hotel operating under a glamping experience. The tents are all kept warm with heaters and plug sockets are available in each tent. The shared facilities are very pleasant and the owner is welcoming and informative.

Very Good
GGuest UserThe location is excellent, the hotel service is also very good, and they actively suggest you to watch the aurora. The overall hardware facilities are average, and there is a large-scale construction in progress.
GGuest UserIt is Perfect hotel for traveller who are on road bewteen Reykjavik & Vik, even if going to Skatafell.
It is located on calm and peaceful position and gave me very comfortable mood who are tired.
More amazing is,
their good restrarurant.!!!!!
In the morning, serve free breakfast. It is already good.
But in the evening, you can enjoy fastastic buffet with acceptable price.
And they gave me very kind service with real smile.
There are small road to reach lake by 5~10 min walking.
When I walked, a lovely dog from hotel follows me and to try excising with him.
It also one of very happy expereince.
Lake sightseeing is also very good.
If someone asks me to stay again,
”Sure. Absolutely.”
환환석Pretty nice and extremely kind reception people. I love them.
As usual like other hotels in Iceland, you should take a ride to get here.
The hotel room was big enough and there were 3 beds in the room although I'm staying by myself.
I love the way how the room is formed. I had two doors, one led me to the yard side and the other one faced the other rooms as well as the reception.
IDK this is the general rule but the shower pressure was horrible. It took more than 30 minutes to take a shower.
Speaking of the Hot tub, it was pretty small and adorable. But if you have plans to visit either Blue Lagoon or Secret Lagoon, You'd better skip this Hot tub.
AAnky in EuropeThe facilities of this hotel are very good, the room is large, towels are provided in the toilet, the hotel also has breakfast service, Gym and so on! Highly recommended for everyone to stay
MMutouVery satisfied with everything, but there is only one bathroom for taking a shower, which is a bit inconvenient. I personally feel that the breakfast is quite good.
PPaizhaodeRogerThe nearest accommodation to the Jiegu Salon Ice Lake, the whole is clean and the room is large. The hotel staff was very welcoming and the room was a bit cold at night, but later we found that we needed to manually adjust the heating temperature.

LLexi.boltonMy friend and I stayed in the Bungalow after a long trip from Reykjavik through the south coast of Iceland. It was the perfect stopping place on our trip to continue our journey on the Ring Road. The bungalow was perfect for what we needed. Two twin beds, shower, towels. There isn’t WiFi out at the Bungalows but the main hotel area does. Breakfast was awesome. Staff was all great. Also loved the lake walk in the back of the property.
AayanamisloverThe location of the hotel was good. The facilities are very good, but I don't know why the gym is designed to be together with the spa and the glass in the middle is transparent, so I always feel that I am being watched when I soak in the spa. Dinner and breakfast were fine, except for the price lol.
GGuest UserThe room was super warm, and the waiter sister also specially selected a river view room closest to the hot spring for us. It’s great to listen to the sound of running water and soak in the hot spring! It was snowing on the day of check-in, and the hot spring in the snow was really fun. The town is not far from Reykjavik. It is also a big town in Iceland. The transportation is convenient. Although there are not many people, there are still several restaurants. If you are tired of the traditional package of the hotel, you can drive or walk to the restaurant in the town. The next morning, I saw tourists riding horses on the opposite mountain to explore the volcanic spring!
