Hotels With Breakfast in Southern Region, Iceland

The hotel has complete facilities and is very conveniently located near the geyser. The food in the restaurant is very delicious and the waiters are very polite. 

This is the best hotel in the whole Iceland trip. Reception is super friendly and helpful. All corners are new and clean. Restaurant provides nice food at reasonable price. Free hot tub and sauna facing the glacier. I am just unlucky that the weather was so bad that I cannot really enjoy the view. Breakfast is a must add item as it is so worthwhile. It’s a perfect location if you visit the glacier tour or visit Jökulsárlón.

Convenient location for geysir and gullfoss. Nice hot tub. Pool smaller than the pictures. Small bedrooms, but amazingly comfortable beds. Good kitchen facilities and nice food at the club house Very friendly staff.

I like it very much. There is a kitchen for cooking and shopping. You can drive 20 minutes to the small town of Selfoss to buy. Luckyly captured the aurora behind the wooden house. I have always treasured the memory of the male ticket here.

We only crashed there a night before heading to Skaftafell. They helped us with packed breakfast as we checked out earlier than the breakfast time (this was requested during the booking and they accommodated it). We also did a late check in which again was requested at the time of booking.

Stay here, get up in the morning and drive for a while, you can see the gullfoss waterfall, very casual. The hotel has a meal bar, you can have a drink at night. The mutton rice brought by my husband, the staff is also very nice and hot, this is private. Sitting in the warm cabin and watching the snow outside, it is very good.

It is located in the small town of Selfoss, easy to find on the main road, with parking lot, very convenient, and there are many restaurants and supermarkets within a five-minute walk, which is suitable for replenishment and adjustment during the journey. The room facilities are complete, and it is worth recommending!

Disadvantages: The hotel room and floors are very dusty and not cleaned well. The soundproofing of the room was not good, and other tenants could hear clearly when they were talking in the corridor. Although the hotel is advertised as a five-star hotel, the breakfast is actually not as good as the guest house and three-star hotels we stayed in during this trip in terms of bread, yogurt, etc. Pros: Breakfast included, big bathtub. The room is American country style and the size is okay. When I checked out, there was an error that other guests charged more than 40,000 local currency for dinner in my room number. Fortunately, another service staff immediately said not to worry about it.

A clean, no frills place. Beds were comfortable, shower was hot, and the dogs were friendly. Very close to Selfoss which has some great places to eat. Perfect as a place to stop and rest for the night.

Environment: It is simply satisfying all the illusions of a Nordic cabin! But it is more recommended to come with many friends! ! Because it is very suitable for dinner! However, pay attention to the check-in is self-service, pay attention to the email in advance, the location is very good, the bed is very comfortable ❤️ I hope that next time the weather is good, you can directly see the aurora!
