The receptionist speaks very good English and enthusiastically introduced the history of the hotel. The hotel was renovated from an old building in the 17th century. The room is spacious, but there are too few sockets. You can only unplug the TV to charge. The sound insulation is not very good, and you can hear the sound of cars passing by outside.

The hotel was excellent, the building being an old convent was architecturally interesting and suited its new purpose very well. The room with an impressive four poster bed was a good size and comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. My only slight criticism would be concerning the breakfast, which was somewhat limited and if arriving towards the end of the serving period there was little left to choose from  Overall I would recommend this hotel as a good place to stay 

Stayed with family here in a second booked room in this hotel. Outdoor pool was so inviting as the temp reached 35 deg in early October. Staff were super efficient and the prices for a late check out were very reasonable. The hotel itself is located within the walks of the town with ample outdoor parking just outside. Highly recommend a stay here.

O hotel está bem localizado, há um restaurante e o café próximo ao local. Os funcionários da recepção foram simpáticos e prestativos. O pequeno almoço estava ótimo com opções de pães, bolos, iogurte, frutas, sumo e chá de frutos vermelhos. O quarto é amplo, estava limpo e agradável. A mobília é relativamente moderna. É um hotel 3 estrelas porém corresponde ao que é.

El apartamento muy lindo, cómodo, bien ubicado. El único problema es que olía mucho a humedad. Estuvimos alojados en la planta baja. Por lo demás muy recomendable.

Urban hotel with all the comfort needed for a stay in Portalegre; Excellent breakfast; Clean and sympathy of staff; door parking places reserved for customers; Central and with several restaurants in the adjacent streets. Quality / price ratio: very good.

We stayed only one night. But we were very well served from the reception to the exit. Always available to help. The room is not modern, but everything was in perfect conditions, from cleaning to comfort of bed. The breakfast was also good.

Td spectacular. I think it would be better to advertise all the spaces together, but only when I arrived I realized that the Hotel and Coudelia were in the same space, and even though tb had Falcoaria. The space is beautiful! Unfortunately, except for breakfast, the other meals were disappointing, much less than the hotel shows primary for quality. All staff deserve a saving of hands.

Herdade da Cortesia is a calm place in the middle of nowhere, therefore it’s the perfect place to have a calm and quiet experience. With a 3 minutes drive you get to Avis, a calm beautiful villa, with a supermarket where you can buy the basics. There are restaurants nearby but you should have a car to get there.
