The room is large and comfortable, the floor is clean, and next to it is a large indoor ski resort, which is worth considering for those who like skiing. The breakfast is very rich, with capsule coffee machines and regular coffee, and there are many choices.

The hotel is new, well-equipped, with a rich breakfast and a quiet room. The hotel is far from the city center and requires three subway stations. There is no safe in the room. If the room needs to be cleaned, you need to tell the front desk one day in advance. The air conditioning in the room cannot be adjusted.

This is an exceptional hotel for quality and service. We were able to check in early to a spacious room with all the extras, hair dryer, mini bar, snacks, iron facilities and drinks tray. Great comfy beds and bathroom facilities. The car park is underground accessible from the rear of the hotel and is secure with a lift to directly within the hotel The breakfast is vast and great quality with the chefs regularly doing quality control of the food and dining staff efficiently clearing tables. We ate in the restaurant and it was good quality. I must mention the young man who served us as his customer service was exceptional not to mention his cocktail mixing skills! Nothing was too much trouble. The reception staff were really helpful in helping us with the public transport and although the hotel is located on the perimeter of the city both tram and bus stops were located within minutes of the hotel and we’re easy to navigate with the routers app. All the staff we came into contact with were both helpful and professional and were all good ambassadors for the hotel group. I would not hesitate in a heart beat to recommend this hotel, thank you for the service.

Nice modern hotel close to Helsfyr bus/train station (5 min walk). Superb complimentary hot and cold breakfast buffet. Not too much around the hotel. Hotel restaurant is pricey. They have a few complimentary manual bikes… all downhill to Oslo and then uphill all the way back. Airport bus stops at Helsfyr station and trains take you to port and downtown.

The location was absolutely fantastic, being located right across Oslo Central Station. This made it really convenient bringing our heavy luggage to the room and there was also no stairs involved. The room had all the basic necessities, but I was sorely missing room slippers to keep your feet warm in the cold. While there was a coffee machine, there was no kettle provided, if you want to make a cup of tea instead. However, the one thing that truly sets this hotel apart is the breakfast, which is stellar compared to other hotel breakfasts you might get in Europe.

It is mainly for the free parking lot. It is very far from the city center. It is only five kilometers away. If you don't rent a car, you can only consider the subway. The breakfast is not bad. The room is relatively simple.

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel in Oslo, and I’d rate it a solid 4/5. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, especially the donation culture, offering both comfort and style. The hotel’s central location was perfect for exploring Oslo’s attractions, with many key sites eg opera house, main street and oslo central station, within walking distance. What truly stood out was the attention to detail—The ambiance was modern yet cozy, making it a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Oslo; it’s a true gem in the heart of the city.

The hotel is near convenience stores and many restaurants, and it's also close to museums and the opera house, making sightseeing very convenient. The hotel boasts a very modern and innovative design, and it is relatively new. The rooms are clean, safe, and quiet. The hotel staff are very friendly, helpful, and kind. The hotel facilities are also excellent, including a 24-hour self-service coffee and tea bar and a 24/7 gym facility. The only bad thing is that it is a 10-minute walk from the central train station.

When I booked this hotel, I read everyone's evaluation, which was particularly extreme. Praise also has bad reviews! When I checked in, I realized why this was the case. The whole trip was booked as a standard room, but it was divided into two time periods. The first time was more than 9 am on Sunday morning. I thought I could not check in early. I didn't expect that there were vacancies in 4 rooms. For us after a long flight, it was really raining in time. For the two nights I stayed this time, the room area was large and equipped with a coffee machine! Except for the uncleanness of some cups and insufficient heating, there is no problem! But when I stayed for the second time, the room I gave was relatively small and there was no coffee machine, but it didn't matter if we stayed for one night! The only problem is that the shower in the shower room is not very good, and the water is very slow and easy to accumulate water! The heating is still not available. In addition, the location of the hotel really has nothing to say, adjacent to the subway line 4.5! There is also a coop supermarket next to it, open until 23:00.

The location was conveniently close to major sites like Oslo's Central station and all the attractions in Karl Johan's Gate. We could see both the Oslo Opera House, Munch Museum and Oslofjord from our room's window. It is a short walk to many good restaurants, cafes and shops as well as some convenience stores. The area is pretty walkable but you just have to watch out for uneven pavement. Bus 30 has a stop right in front of the hotel and many of the museums worth making a trip out of the city centre for are on this route. The ”barception” combines both a bar and a reception area. There is plenty of seating in the lobby which also functions as the breakfast area in the morning. The reception desk also has a small convenience store where you can purchase snacks, drinks and some sandwiches but it is a little bit pricier than the nearby convenience stores and supermarkets. Reception staff were welcoming and friendly during our stay and we visited a few times and received information and assistance quickly. We were initially worried because there was only one working elevator during our stay but that was only an issue a couple of times. We liked our room with the furnishings provided but would say it is very dim. We got a corner room which had a work space, a bench by the window, a chair and a good sized bed. We appreciated that there were several coat hooks on the walls to hang our winter clothing on when we visited. The hotel promotes sustainability throughout and while the lighting is perfect in the hallways and common areas we found our three small lights and two bedside lamps did not provide enough lighting in the evening which comes early in December. The TV was a big flat screen but unfortunately the smart features were disabled and the programming available is a little dry at this hotel. The amenities at the hotel are sufficient but I booked believing that there would be laundry facilities on site which there isn't. They recommended going to a sister property which was about a 10-15 minute walk away and online had one laundry machine and we were lucky not to have to wait long to get it done. Kettles and extra pillows are available upon request. Our favourite part of the bathroom was the heated floor which made the bathroom nice and cozy. The shower had swinging doors on both sides which helped open up the space when it wasn't in use but it didn't provide a perfect seal to keep the water in during a shower. Thankfully the heated floor helped evaporate the overflow quickly. The shower pressure was good but it was initially tricky to get the right temperature. We appreciated that there was plenty of counter space in the bathroom which made up for the lack of ventilation so use the toilet wisely. The breakfast was pretty good. There was a good variety of hot and cold items including smoked salmon, pancakes, chia seed cups, overnight oats, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese and an area to make your own yoghurt bowl with toppings. They also had a tea/coffee area with plenty of additives like non-sugar sweeteners and creamed honey. We liked the fruit platters but found by the time we went they were largely picked over and they were the less desirable pieces leftover. We started each of our days off right with a decent breakfast each morning. Comfort Hotel has seemingly taken over Oslo in this area and there are quite a few locations. We picked this hotel because it was pretty central for our itinerary, was fairly priced and it has decent sized rooms.
