SkyBay Hotel was great! It's changed it a lot over the past couple years. They have automated check-in now and the selection of cafes and shops in the lobby are very convenient and and open till late. The arcade is tons of fun! Visitors have the option of using the Infiniti pool and sauna for an additional fee. The staff is helpful, and the room is clean and comfortable. However, in winter you are unable to adjust the temperature of your room. The views are incredible from skyBay Hotel. No wonder they pick this location for the drama business proposal! We had a great time!

It was a leisurely hotel where you can have a glass of wine while looking at the sea. It's good to wake up early in the morning and enjoy the sunrise and hot springs, and there's a seawater pool so you can enjoy swimming even in winter🩵 There's a hotel wellness program, so make sure to make a reservation in advance and enjoy it.

I had a very comfortable stay for three nights in Gangneung, thanks to how clean and well-maintained the accommodation was. The breakfast was fairly simple, but more than enough to start the day, and I especially appreciated the sense of space, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and comfortable. Getting around was easy whether by bus or taxi, and the location made it convenient to visit nearby attractions like Ojukheon and Jungang Market. For those travelling by car, the spacious parking area is definitely a big plus. There’s also a lovely pine forest path just behind the property, perfect for a quiet stroll. The ocean view from the room really added to the holiday atmosphere, and being able to enjoy both the sunrise and sunset was one of the highlights of staying at Shilla Monogram.

The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. The vegetable salads were diverse and flavorful. My mom and I had a lovely, relaxing trip. The comfortable bed made for a great staycation at the hotel. Everything was satisfying: the bathroom, sink, bathtub, bed, TV, the fountain and relaxation area in front of the accommodation, and the staff service. I'd come back to Gangneung just for this place! 😊🍳🥑🥩🥘🍝🍕🥙🌭🧀🍖

Overall, it was a fairly standard stay, saved by the brand reputation and great location, but the value for money was low. 2400 a night for a five-star hotel was indeed a bit pricey. I chose it because it's under the Banyan Tree brand, and there's a lot of hype about it on Xiao Hong Shu (Redbook), but the actual stay wasn't great. The front desk is on the second floor, and check-in was smooth. The staff's English was decent, and they spoke a little Chinese, though there weren't many Chinese guests there anyway. The room wasn't very big. The mattress firmness and size were reasonable, and the windows were floor-to-ceiling. The downside was that they couldn't be opened, so ventilation relied entirely on the air conditioning. Upon entering, there was a noticeable smell of fresh paint. Room service ended at 9 PM. The infinity pool is on the 21st floor, which seems to be the hotel's main selling point. Hmm... the good thing is the water quality is excellent, but the water temperature was too high. It would probably be great in winter. The pool isn't very large, and there's also a warm pool next to it. The lounge chairs were packed very tightly, probably mostly for sunbathing, and the flow of traffic felt a bit congested. Usage hours were from 8 AM to 12 PM. According to Korean law, children are not allowed in after 8 PM, which is pretty standard across Korea. Next, the worst part of the experience: the soundproofing was terrible. I could clearly hear guests walking and talking in the next room. We were woken up in the middle of the night after falling asleep, and it took two calls to the front desk and about 30 minutes for someone to come and speak to them. The room environment and service level truly don't match the brand and price! I hope they can improve, which is why I've offered these suggestions.

The view was great, the price was reasonable, everything was great, but the single bed mattress was too hard and slanted to one side, making it impossible to sleep. Fortunately, the double bed mattress was fine, so I moved there and slept there. The single mattress seemed to need replacing.

While clean, the room was much smaller than I anticipated. Check-in took an incredibly long time; I waited for three hours! They claimed to be following check-in numbers sent via KakaoTalk, but this wasn't actually the case. Someone making a lot of complaints was prioritized, and the whole situation was just chaotic. The room was surprisingly small and looked nothing like the photos. I was assigned to Building A, but the pictures on Trip.com were completely different from the room I received (I suspect they were of Buildings B and C). I initially wondered if the hotel had given me the wrong room, but upon re-examining the photos, the very last one did seem to be of Building A. Honestly, I feel deceived, having chosen the room based solely on those initial, misleading pictures. The swimming pool also incurs an additional charge of 80,000 KRW per person (I didn't use the pool). There's a bakery area, and its lobby is so close to the pool that everything is visible from there. While waiting for check-in, I had coffee in the lobby, and it felt rather awkward seeing people in their swimsuits so close by. Breakfast is divided into two time slots, so you must arrive at your allocated time. The coffee service, where staff pour it for you, was also quite inconvenient. Normally, one would get coffee from a self-service machine, but here there's a dedicated 'coffee zone' where you have to place an order with staff. When there's a queue, you end up waiting with your food in hand, which is truly inconvenient. And the coffee wasn't even exceptionally delicious. Despite having three staff members at the coffee zone, the whole process felt incredibly inefficient. The breakfast food itself, however, was tasty. Oh, and a quick note: Netflix isn't available in the rooms, haha. I honestly think the Lotte Resort, where I previously stayed, is far superior. Their rooms are much more spacious, the pool is complimentary, and it definitely has a more luxurious vibe. Breakfast at Lotte is also tastier, in my personal opinion (and you *can* watch Netflix there!). To sum up, Cassia offers breathtaking scenery. The breakfast was varied and delicious! However, I feel they haven't made effective use of the hotel's interior space. It's genuinely vast, and as you wander, you encounter tables, uncomfortable chairs, and very large art books on display, but it all feels a bit forced and out of place. I never felt like sitting down and relaxing on the chairs, which were also uncomfortable. The overall interior design felt somewhat unkempt and disjointed. It's a shame such a large space wasn't utilized more thoughtfully. Next time, I'll probably opt for Lotte Resort over Cassia.

This is a new hotel, and I was so satisfied with all the facilities, furnishings, bedding, interior design, and room layout that I stayed for three days. However, it's a pet-friendly hotel. Ugh, how can such a clean hotel be pet-friendly? Large dogs were riding the elevator with me, and a dog was barking in the breakfast restaurant. Seriously... this is just... shouldn't such a nice, upscale hotel at least have separate areas for the restaurant?

Affordable Hotel in Chuncheon~ Chuncheon M83 Hotel Review 1️⃣ Excellent Location - Located in the heart of Chuncheon, it's within a 10-20 minute drive of major tourist attractions like Legoland, Samaksan Cable Car, and Nami Island! The perfect place for a 1-night, 2-day weekend getaway! 🚗 2️⃣ Great Value - This hotel is perfect for business trips or family trips. The staff are friendly and the hotel offers a variety of amenities (breakfast, a small pool, a game zone, etc.). The price is excellent! 3️⃣ Cleanliness and facilities are a bit lacking - While the facilities are generally clean, some guests have expressed concerns about the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms. Please note that the staff will respond promptly if needed. ✨ 4️⃣ Noise Warning - Rooms near the railroad or road may be noisy. If you want a good night's sleep, request a quiet room! Please note that soundproofing isn't perfect🔇 5️⃣ Other hotel information - 83 rooms (including deluxe twins) with TV, Wi-Fi, and basic amenities. Many families stay here. Breakfast-included packages are great value if you're just looking to sleep, but if you're looking for a more relaxing and quiet trip, consider this option. 😉 #ChuncheonM83Hotel #Chuncheon_M83_hotel #ChuncheonTravel #ChuncheonM83HotelReview

GGuest UserNice place to stay. Very close to Mona Yongpyong Ski Resort. Nice view. Ample parking space. Spacious Room. Ondol room can fit 6 people. Kitchenette provided for cooking. There was an issue with our toilet where the toilet bowl is clogged. When we contact the front desk, they promptly send a staff to fix the toilet. Everything is perfect and we enjoy our stay at Tower Condominium.

MMaf VelázquezExcellent location (I mean EXCELLENT) as it's 5 min away from the entrance of the park. It is easy to get to by bus no 7/7-1 and by taxi. The hotel looks a bit old from the outside but it is tastefully decorated on the inside and they keep very well in line with the English theme. The rooms are clean and spacious, with very nice views. They have a nice space to put things away and a small fridge. Our shower unfortunately wasn't sealed from the shower door so we ended up with water in the whole bathroom (difficult to control with a 6'4 partner). It has in house laundry and a small grocery shop that saved us one day it was raining too much to head back to the restaurant area. Really recommend if you're visiting the park (or Sokcho as it's also 15-20 min away by bus). Very friendly staff.

GGuest UserExcellent stay. Better than expected. I was worried that it would be crowded at the lobby/ common areas due to proximity to casino which was not a preference. The lobby of convention hotel is grand, peaceful and modern. I was also worried that it would be inconvenient to reach the ski slopes however the shuttle buses were frequent and you can get to the slopes quickly. The bus stop drop off point is right outside the ticket office for ski passes Hotel service was welcoming and superb from check in/out to housekeeping. As foreigners we received discount coupons for ski rental and pass. View from room was nice and loved the cream and shower gel etc. Room service was quick and portions are huge. Also how it was delivered was really good too with the robot. Overall very good and comfortable stay.

AAriesha Nadhira RoslaneMy friends and I came to Intercontinental Alpensia because we got a really good deal and expected to experience snow right at the resort. The snow arrived a bit later than we hoped but honestly, we still had such a good time! The room was lovely, the weather was perfectly chilly (sometimes too cold.. so come prepared!) and we were lucky to catch real snow at Mount Balsangwan by taking the cable car at nearby resort (Mona Yongpyeong) We have to give a huge shout out to the in-room dining service; the Beef Risotto and Frutti di Mare Pasta were soooo good. Truly delicious! The whole area is so pretty and calm, especially with the Christmas vibe when we visited. Everything felt cozy and magical. We definitely plan to return! ❄️💙

GGuest UserIt took over 2 hours by direct bus from Hongdae subway station to get here. The hotel is located right inside the ski resort. However, even if you arrive early, you still have to wait until 3:00 PM to check in. The front desk won't proactively tell you about the discounts available with your room card for ski passes, hot springs, and many other activities unless you ask. That said, the room was spacious enough and offered excellent views of the ski slopes. The lobby also has a free storage room for guests to keep their ski equipment and take a short break.
