The room is nice and clean. We enjoy the warm floor and the reception staff speaks very good English. The hotel has children play area, and the 7-11 is just right at B2. We even doesnt need to go out for buying ice cream. The car parking is free. They have enough sign to show the parking area.
Just one point was not much appreciate. Our room door was got someone opened at the mid-night without ring the bell. A person(not sure is male or female) came in and got out. This made me awake and couldnt fall to sleep again. This didnt awake our baby luckily.
Obviously the person was a staff, and got a key card to open the door.
We reported to the reception when we check out in the morning. However, the staff couldnt tell the reason. We could only give a reminder about checking the cctv, and this affected our experience well.
The hotel boasts an excellent location and fantastic views. We were allocated a corner room with a great outlook. We arrived early, and the male receptionist informed us we could check in at 1 PM. However, upon returning after lunch, a different female staff member, who offered no smile, insisted check-in wasn't until 3 PM. We noticed other guests checking in, some even without a credit card, which felt inconsistent. After I had to complain, we were finally allowed to check in, but then they demanded a credit card for a security deposit. The attitude of the Korean front desk staff was very frustrating and made us feel extremely uncomfortable, almost discriminatory. Otherwise, everything else was fine, and we had a very enjoyable day.
Advantages
Conveniently situated
Generously sized accommodations
Impressive amenities
Perfect for family trips, this place offers all the amenities you need, just like an Airbnb. You'll find a cooker, pots and pans and cutlery readily available.
Conveniently located near a variety of dining options
Drawbacks
The staff had limited English proficiency, making communication quite challenging.
Upon our early arrival at around 11am, we found the reception area to be deserted. Along with other guests, we were left waiting at the counter, unsure of what to do. Finally, around 1pm, a receptionist appeared. However, rather than simply informing us that check-in was only possible after two, they made each guest wait in queue to deliver the same message. Upon returning to the reception at 2, we were informed that we had to wait an additional hour. This experience was quite unprofessional and made it challenging to enjoy other activities
Like Shilla Hotel, the hotel facilities and breakfast buffet were clean and high quality. Also, the service and this were quite high compared to other hotels
The property in nicely located near the ski slopes and with 5 min walk you can star your day skiing.
We are a bit disappointed on how the reservation has been managed by Trip.com we have been assigned 2 Executive Suites for two adults and one child of 12 years old when 1 room would have been more than enough to accommodate three guests! That’s shameful!
Room service end at 9:30 PM which in my opinion it’s a bit too early for a 5 star hotel like this one.
Also a bit ridiculous to ask for an ice bucket 5.000 KRW against the coat of 570.000 KRW of one room only!!
My sincere appreciation and gratitude to Mr.Koh the Concierge that has been extremely helpful and kind to us during the whole stay. Kudos to him!!!
love the hotel for its convenience to the beach. we caught beautiful view of the beach which was a stone throw away. we were also served complimentary cheese platter and wine as a welcome which was nice. the royal suite for family was a great space to hangout for the family.
Very nice and clean modern facility, comfortable bed and convenient location with much to offer. The staff are very helpful even with the language barrier but they do their best to assist and help with finding stuff around town. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds.
I was here during the wildfire and strong winds and hotel staff put the patrons safety above all else and assist. Highly recommend this hotel for a safe enjoyable stay
Affordable Hotel in Chuncheon~ Chuncheon M83 Hotel Review
1️⃣ Excellent Location - Located in the heart of Chuncheon, it's within a 10-20 minute drive of major tourist attractions like Legoland, Samaksan Cable Car, and Nami Island! The perfect place for a 1-night, 2-day weekend getaway! 🚗
2️⃣ Great Value - This hotel is perfect for business trips or family trips. The staff are friendly and the hotel offers a variety of amenities (breakfast, a small pool, a game zone, etc.). The price is excellent!
3️⃣ Cleanliness and facilities are a bit lacking - While the facilities are generally clean, some guests have expressed concerns about the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms. Please note that the staff will respond promptly if needed. ✨
4️⃣ Noise Warning - Rooms near the railroad or road may be noisy. If you want a good night's sleep, request a quiet room! Please note that soundproofing isn't perfect🔇
5️⃣ Other hotel information - 83 rooms (including deluxe twins) with TV, Wi-Fi, and basic amenities. Many families stay here. Breakfast-included packages are great value if you're just looking to sleep, but if you're looking for a more relaxing and quiet trip, consider this option. 😉

The Sokcho Cassia Hotel, which we visited for our wedding anniversary trip, was located in Daepo Port, and we could see both the port and the sea from the veranda of the accommodation. It was on the 25th floor, and when we went in, there was a slight musty smell from the bathroom shower room, so we took off one star for cleanliness! The breakfast here was 66,000 won, which was expensive compared to other accommodations, so we had high expectations, but there weren't many options for the price. Weekends are divided into three parts, and you can choose on a first-come, first-served basis when you check in. I think the checkout time was 11:00, but we checked out right after 8:00 after the first part of the breakfast to avoid traffic.
Not recommended for family trips.
If you're planning to use the pool with children or teenagers, I'd strongly advise against this hotel.
What really baffled me was that the pool access fee wasn't included in the room rate. It's rare to find hotels with this kind of setup these days. The per-person pool charge is very expensive, and children are restricted from using it after 8 PM, which is a major inconvenience for families.
We visited as a family, but everyone left feeling very disappointed.
For instance, during our stay, on one particular day, the pool was only accessible from 3 PM, yet we were charged the full rate. Similarly, on our arrival day, we got there at 6 PM and only had two hours to use the pool, but still had to pay the full fee, with children being charged the same as adults. Even toothbrushes cost extra, and generally, the value for money was extremely poor.
I felt that for a similar price, choosing another hotel would be a much better option.
The only positive was that the cleanliness was good, perhaps because it hasn't been open for long.

GGuest UserExcellent stay. Better than expected. I was worried that it would be crowded at the lobby/ common areas due to proximity to casino which was not a preference. The lobby of convention hotel is grand, peaceful and modern.
I was also worried that it would be inconvenient to reach the ski slopes however the shuttle buses were frequent and you can get to the slopes quickly. The bus stop drop off point is right outside the ticket office for ski passes
Hotel service was welcoming and superb from check in/out to housekeeping. As foreigners we received discount coupons for ski rental and pass. View from room was nice and loved the cream and shower gel etc. Room service was quick and portions are huge. Also how it was delivered was really good too with the robot.
Overall very good and comfortable stay.

TTommyGunnIt was a last minute reservation we have made to enjoy our national holiday and it surely was a great decision!
The location of this resort is in prime spot right next to the Dae-po dock where for the seafood lovers you are in for a delight of fresh and cost efficient sashimi and steamed crabs.
Not only that, the resort itself was very resourceful for the families who bring their youngs
- massive indoor playground
- arcade for the little gamers
- quiet family friendly walk way into the shorelines
- indoor water park
(Stopping here because my fingers hurt trying to write everything down!)
Lastly, the rooms were cleaned at exceptional quality with the ocean view.
Definitely coming back here next year!
GGuest UserLocated near Gongjicheon in Chuncheon, it was great for a morning walk.
Another fun thing is to visit the top floor of the 16th floor and see the panoramic view of Gongjicheon Stream and Jungdo Island. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Satisfied with the low price. The water flow in the shower room is a bit weak.
SSOOYEONThere was dust everywhere and hair in the bathroom, but the room was spacious and the bedding was clean, which was nice. I gave feedback because I almost got hurt due to a small issue, and I hope it is resolved well and I will visit again next time.
